General Hasbro BEYBLADE:Metal Fury/Shogun Steel/Beyblades Legends -FALL 2014 [HOBBY]

I won't get them for months but it would seem a few places in america have them for sale now.
I think that blitz looks a lot like nightmare

So you guys are seeing them in stores now? There isn't anything in my area that has them yet as far as I know.

Surprisingly, I did. I saw Big Bang Pegasis, Spiral Fox (if that's an incorrect name, sorry), and something else I can't remember. Nothing special, and there was still a lot more Metal Masters Beyblades (can you say Thermal Lacerta?), but they were there so I suspect to see a lot more in the near future.
"New" products on the Hasbro site:
Rip Gauge Recolor
They also posted a listing for the Destroyer Dome

And some surprises listed on Target.com:
W-09 Venom Bite Serpent
W-10 River Beast Gil
W-11 Savage Blade Herculeo
W-16 Toxic Stinger Scorpio
Lizard Fury Attack 2-Pack
Rushing Wave Smash 2-Pack
L Drago Trick Terrain
"BEY WHLZ" search on the site

Also, for those who are interested, Toys R Us seems to have some Beywheelz in stock on their site, but, sadly, only one of the 2-packs.

Edit:
I'm blind: Destroyer Daredevil Course
Edit 2:
Waitaminute... the picture says Pegasus Stunt Stadium...?
The rip gauge looks awful in that green color, IMO. I prefer the Metal Masters Navy Blue color.

Bey Wheelz at first in my mind were the stupidest things ever invented and I wanted to destroy them all before anyone could purchase them, but I think they are pretty awesome looking. I'm still thinking if I should purchase some, though.

Nice find. By looking at them it looks like at least the clear wheels could be compatible with MFB.

Speaking of BeyWheelz, if anyone wants to develop a new metagame for them (not for WBO) contact me via PM Wink
I wonder how they pick the types for BeyWheelz? Just by what the beast is or what? ahaha.

I don't know if they would be compatible, they look wider to me for some reason.

Are the Energy Rings on the BeyWheelz plastic or rubber?
I've looked at a BeyWheel in store. The top part that seems like a clear wheel does not look compatible. The clear wheel is plastic.

TBH, none of the parts do XD
the launcher for BeyWheelz looks like a light launcher 2.
and looking at the wheelz,i don't think they'll be compatibale with pure beyblade
i guess the wheelz series is an example that beyblades can spin any how-
spinning vertically
spinning horizontally
maybe the Zero-G series wheelz will have beywheelz spinning upside down
XD
I got my first look at Beywheels today. The naming system is really odd, and after looking at it for a while, I got it. It's the rubber wheel first, the bottom, then the part that would be the clear wheel. I kept thinking Hasbro had no real naming system for them other than the clear wheel. Another interesting thing is that some of the double packs of them are the same colors, but swapped around (an example being the drago whatever one, where the center is white and the outside is grey in the two pack, with the opposite being the single pack. They look pretty fun to screw around with, but I doubt I'd want to buy any of them.
Imagine that Blade Horn 145 or Blaze II (the clear wheel on the viewer's left) on a real bey though. So awesome!

As is, there's no way I'll be getting these till the price drops and they become a cheap source of LL2 knockoffs.
Yeah guys, we've already established a while back that Beywheelz aren't compatible with MFB. I thought so at first, but Imperial showed me a video and the "CW" wasn't anything like a standard one.
Well, that was obvious to me from when I saw the size of them. They're really massive compared to MFB, almost like a rubber hamburger. Also, I really find some of the Beywheelz faces to be extremely odd looking. Kerbecs at first glance to me looked like a samurai/shogun, and I thought the leone one was quetzalcoatl based on the design of it.
Those look pretty serious, I'm proud that Hasbro doesn't use cookie cutter designs with those. The earlier ones are okay but these are beast.

The facebolt looks like the dog is recieving acupuncture.
Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but BeyWheelz have "types" like normal Beyblades do. For now, we have "Power", "Speed", and "Balance" Types.
Here is a guide for what is what: (Click to View)
Some of the face designs don't look too bad, honestly (Bull looked alright, I guess). Probably will pick one of these up for the heck of it.
There was one (beywheel?) I saw called Bone Slammer Aries, and it had a pretty cool design. it was in a two pack, didn't see it in a single pack, though. the rubber wheel looked like some rubber man's spine was wrapped around it.

I gotta say, I like most of the facebolt designs I saw on these things. Hasbro obviously put a lot of hard work into making a beyblade version of flywheels, though how the Idea spawned is beyond me.

EDIT: Thanks, Fantomu
It's Bone Slammer Aries, balance type. The two-pack also comes with Raging Shredder Zurafa which is a speed type.

Ah, thanks for jogging my memory.
Why couldn't the destroyer dome pack come with Beywheelz launchers?

EDIT: Curse you hasbro, wasting the almighty "Doom Wheel" name on a sideline product.
R-Drago is the coolest clear wheel ever though!

R-Drago is the coolest clear wheel ever though!

1. because Beywheelz are completely different products than Hasbro's MFB, and the launchers are probably not compatible with each other.

2. I wouldn't curse them out for a naming decision, as all their MFB are up to this point based on Takara's products and we aren't sure if they may or may not use it to rename a metal wheel.

3. I agree that Doom fire Drago looks nice, and I especially like the fact that the two pack and the
single pack have the same colors, but swapped around. If any one wanted a fully matching rubber wheel hamburger, they could go for both packs.

1. I'm pretty sure they both take the same launchers. That is an LL2 ripcord after all.

2. Well it seems a lot less likely now. In my mind, "Doom" was always the name of legend Quetz but really, I just wanted a bey named Doom. That or "Genocide Brave Ver." for the Barbatos reference...

3. IMO it's just the clear wheel. The rest is kinda sucky but that might just be my dislike of bulky rubber.
I mainly like the idea of recolors with matching colors to the original in them. I never got a decent look at Doom Fire Drago's details. As for the ripcord, we'll just have to wait till someone tests it out. and speaking of doom wheels, I tend to call nightmare by it's pre release name at times(genocide) and we've already got a death wheel, so maybe hasbro will rename death to doom? we won't know till it happens, so there still may be hope for you. who knows what tricks hasbro's got up their sleeve? they surprised us with the initial hollowing out of the first releases of metal fury, so who knows what they'll do next?
Yeah, I'll always know Nightmare as Genocide. I'm going to have some trouble finding the "Brave Ver." clear wheel cheap though...
