Basalt may have been changed becuase most people (in the us at least) don't know what Basalt is. But Horolgium could have been changed to something other than Tempo, but then again, trademarks.

That is a bull's putrid defecation. They have a whole series called the "Tornado Battlers", and each of the top from that small, illegal series is called "Tornado Eagle", "Tornado L-Drago", etc. There is no respect to be had, and Hasbro does not only develop Beyblade in the United States.

We did not know what "Basalt" necessarily was either, and I am quite sure Japanese kids are not genius in that aspect at all and they do not know about it too.
Plus, why do they suddenly accept Italian when they changed Earth Aquila into Earth "Eagle" ? They have to contradict themselves as well ...

In all fairness, Tornado battlers were announced before the tornados hit. Also, I agree the name change is a bad one, I'm merely giving a (possible?) reason why it may have been changed.

On the subject of Basalt, Japanese children are, for the most part, a lot smarter than children here in the U.S.. They could figure out to go on google and look up basalt and find out what it was. If you expect a kid in the U.S. to be able to think to look up what basalt is, you are sadly mistaken.

As for eagle, kids should be able to figure out what an aquilla is, but I doubt it.

I'm talking solely U.S. here, I'm not taking into account Europe and the U.K., I don't live there, I can't assess how stupid people there are.
im from the u.s. and i bothered to look up basalt kk so anyway im looking ata ray gil and the brazillian team...messed up carp
Zurafa's kind of a cool name.

The rest? lol
for ray gill they have ray thresher or just keep it gil
For those who are confused about the lack of Ray Gil at this time, is probably because Hasbro has officially decided to announce them in a different wave. I think when EE puts up a picture of Faceoff Pack wave 8 revision 1, we could see another wave up for pre-order.
Ah, they posted even more, now they have the booster packs and other items: (More Beyblade products listed here)

I hope its true i mean i just NOW got inferno saggitario
Heh, the new packaging had me confused, I probably missed a bunch of beys because I thought they were the Keychain beys (ugh I hate that stuff). Still, it is kinda cool looking. Just too similar to the Keychain packaging. Tongue_out

I can't believe Giraffe is trademarked/copyrighted for toys, that's crazy. I also find it odd they chose an arabic name, as I've said before, that has a tendency to get the real crazies frothing at the mouth. Uncertain That said, Zurafa sounds okay.

Anyway, I've had a brilliant idea for a "Rocky" wheel. Composed of 4 sculpts of Sylvester Stallone's head, and labelled as a defence type. It'd be heavy and hard to knock out, though. R145 could be shaped like 3 Boxing gloves that don't ever pass the edge of the MW and be called "Redundant 145".
If you've seen Rocky and know anything about pwoper fighting, you'll (hopefully) get what I mean.
I'd draw it, but I suck at drawing, especially faces.
After "Twisted Tempo" who knows what they'll call Hell Kerbecs. Though, apparently hades isn't too inappropriate, given the anime episode "Green Hell->Green Hades" change. I don't think cerberus would be too problematic, but as I said, after "Twisted Tempo", who know what those crazy exec's will do. Uncertain
Explorer Dora BD145DS anyone?

but whos twisted tempo then?
As I said, it's Basalt. Basalt is kinda of a twisted shape from the staircase. Tempo refers to "TIME", and horogium is a clock. It seems pretty straightforward/obvious to me. The release order is irrelevant, as Byxis is being released before Gil etc etc.
I thought about what Kai-V said and she's right. Tornado being renamed is because of the tornado battlers. The tornado battlers are named "Tornado Eagle" ect. ect.. This is 100% Hasbro's fault.

Why not rename the Tornado battlers, "Cyclone battlers" and give Tornado its rightful name.
I think we should now just adapt to these changes.. but it's certainly gonna be weird with kids going on saying Rock Zuraffa and Twisted Tempo... I just hope Hasbro does a good job with the beyblades.

Rocky was proven to be a typo, and was changed quickly to Rock on Entertainment Eath's website.

Also, wasn't it originally Zuraffi?

But still:

I put effort into that, dammit Tongue_out

Nonetheless, these changes are the largest we've seen, alongside Striker. The rest you can kinda reason what they are pretty easily, but "Twisted" is nothing like "Basalt", heck, we're not 100% sure it's basalt yet Tongue_out

AHAHAHAHAHA. But I still don't get what was wrong with Basalt Horogium, and why it needed to be 'twisted tempo'. Maybe Horogium which is hard to pronounce (that's carp reasoning though), but Basalt? What's wrong with that? And these Tornado Battlers are also complete carp too. Hasbro has lost the insignificant shred of respect I had after buying Thermal Pisces from them.
twisted tempo is the bey that the chinese guy has not the lizard or giraffe but the guy who has vergo they m ight swich clear wheels and faces...it also makes more sense cus vergo dancer and tempo =dancer:p twisted...idk but im n ot sure i saw it on a website
Except, earth virgo has already been released by hasbro as...

EARTH VIRGO.

Seriously, your post is stupid.
sigh no my god its the chinese guy not the other guy in metal fusion jeez dont be a hater

Are you for real? The fact it has a clear wheel named virgo, not tempo, and that hasbro have already released the CW and named it virgo should be enough. That said, your post referred to a beyblade with Virgo as it's CW. The main beyblade with Virgo is... Earth Virgo! ANYWAY, I'm guessing you're referring to Poison Virgo.
So...
The poison wheel has been released by hasbro as... POISON!
and the virgo CW, well, it's called virgo.
THEREFORE, BY USING THE ANCIENT AND MYSTICAL ART OF LOGIC, WE CAN DEDUCE THAT HASBRO WOULD RELEASE THIS AS...
POISON VIRGO! Gasp
NOT, IN FACT, TWISTED TEMPO!
WHICH YOU CLAIMED IT WOULD DEFINITELY BE! WOAH! WHAT A TWIST!

Wow, it's like I'm some kind of wizard or something.

This power I have... This power of using common sense to make deductions... I must remember carry it with great responsibility... It is truly a rare gift... Taking years, upon years to master... I AM, TH!NK, LORD OF USING THAT GREY MUSHY THING BETWEEN YOUR EARS BEFORE POSTING!

Mods, sorry, he used "hater" in a serious context. What am I supposed to do?
ToyWiz updates! They added the IR Spin Control Tops. And they added the just-announced beys. http://www.toywiz.com/beymetalfusion.html
I went to TRU today but STILL no Metal Masters except for the legend beys. And NO Thunder Libra!
And seriously? August?
