Say, may I ask what are the types of cores?
General B-Daman Thread
Guys FYI Ill be selling/reviewing the CB-24 Lion thing. Im probably ordering by Wensday... And if anyone wants dibs, lemme know...
Oh, sorry, I meant what types of cores and what do they look like?
oh there are only really the cores in the B-daman so far:
accele core- likes like an ordinary core, nothing very technical about it
rev core- has rollers too help make the b-daball go in smoothly and go out smoothly.
spin core- as it sounds it puts spin on the B-daball
torque core- bigger prongs so that it takes more push to launch the B-daball and a double finger trigger
roll core- main thing about it is it has a ring push trigger, where you put your thumb in a ring for easy rapid fire
One-Sided sharks core- has a easy grip handle.

So here are the lsit of the currently release B-Daman (starter only)
It is said for Spin Leoja have an extra finger-placed handle by assembling the behind head part to the core.(the yellow thing attached)
Spin core seems to have a different moving pattern as stated here: https://my.takaratomy-business-service.c.../beyblade/
The new armparts add extra grip.
One-side shark core: It is quite like roll core and steer core mixed together

sorry tyler but I don't see how the one side sharks core is like the roll core in any sense, also I was stating the main points, anyway guys I have some new designs I will be putting up soon of things I feel they will incorporate. Also how would you guys feel about maybe setting up a B-daman tournament alongside Beyblade tournaments?
So... I guess there is zero chances of a Proto/General for this generation? Or at least a generic B-Daman without a fancy name? Takara really went crazy with those during the very first toyline eh? The anime itself is moving quicker with for-now unreleased customs/upgrades, so that is why I ask.
I couldn't get a close enough search through the anime to have a plausible clue.
UPDATE:
If I recall correctly, anonymous players use B-daman we've seen except with different cores and colors. Could possibly be using random combinations.

Will have to admit, a good majority of these part designs seem far too gimmicky.
Multiple trigger designs but they seem attached to a particular set of Hold Parts? Just have the back of every trigger be compatible with changeable "add-on" triggers for the user's preference.. Personally, I prefer pulling instead of pushing to fire the marble (ala Crash and real firearms).
Change the "Roller Feet" design to be omnidirectional instead of only having left/right movement. This can be done either with metal balls, or regular b-daman marbles. Design examples include the Roller Feet (metal ball) from a Chrome Revan DX set, and the roller feet seen in the Cartridge series.
Glad to see the "Speed Loader" part back in action again. Single stack magazines <3
Push out a Revolver/Gatling Hades or Alpha/Omega/Ultimate Bahamut equivalent and I will be truly happy.
+1 for Proto reincarnate in this generation; Proto Two had a pretty kickass design for a model with no gimmicky features. It came in a plethora of color and limited edition variations as well!

I think an awesome combo would be: Leoja head, Sasodo right arm, Accel core, Rev dravise legs, Bearga left arm and some accesories.
Sasword.

I think the main point of people having the same B-daman is to show it's not the B-daman which are special it's the owners and the spirits, as you see accele dracyan loses his core and arms but are easily replaced. also for bugtutrtles I reckon that they only do the different cores for a bit more originality, it's the difference between old series and new series, and that they probably will release technical B-daman but that this is only the start of the series.
Is a B-Daman's name based on the parts that are used?
Partially.the first half is from the name of it's core and the second half is based on it's appearance, style, fictional name, etc
I think Bearga's arms could be used as shields. I'm not sure though

beargas arms are just for easier grip and show, not shields as there is yet to be a DHB in the series.
I believe the target of CF B-daman is just currently shooting at target, not battle against each other, as in the instruction book state that not shooting two b-daman face to face to prevent B-ball breakage..
And also, i think whenever we talk about a customization, the name should be refered as:
-The first being the core name
-The second being the head name.
and then we go in detailed.
For example "Accel Dravise" with Sassword Left-arm, Bearga Right-arm, Dravise Legs

never have i broken a marble while playing this game
That is generally the best way to go about naming things in this game, ha. Feet can go by the name of the B-Daman since half the time they are useless. Unless, the name of the foot is explicitly stated or has a weird gimmick, such as Roller Feet.
I'm pretty sure Kai-V was joking when she referred it as Sasword, as the design is highly reminiscent of the Kamen Rider named "Sasword".
Then I guess 2 SASWORD arms won't be too bad . Make way for the attack king! However, if anyone has tested, which core is better: Accel or Torque? Also, I meant Accel Leoja dual SASWORD arms and dravis legs.

Not really. It is written "sasoudo" in Katakana, but there is no way that the proper translation is "Sasodo" as people here have been "amateurily" writing it. The accurate translation has got to be "Sasword", especially since it is exactly the same as the Kamen Rider.
You said 'has got to be' so it's still not confirmed. Don't forget that Kamen Rider SaSWORD wields a sword, hence the name
It makes a lot more sense than "Sasodo" ... There is an intelligence part/interpretation part in all translations.

i really did not expect this at all and knowing this highly amuses me.

easier writing convention of b-daman combinations can be similarly written to that of plastic generation beyblades without "official" individual part names to look less of a clusterfrak ex:
Core: Rev Core
Arms: Sasword
Legs: Sasword
Magazine: (usually the magazine will have an official name)
Addtional Parts: Old examples include Saber Fire Wing and the Power Triggers which could be attached onto the B-Daman's prongs (referred to as Hold Parts, however I forgot how that name came about)
cmon cross fight megadiablos, you're bound to become a reality sooner or later
um bugturtles speaking of the diablos bey I kinda drew one if you want to see it. Also it is very interesting in the controversy of saswords/ sasodos name, maybe we could settle on a name? I personally don't think sasodo actually makes any sense and thus saswords seems more suitable.
