General B-Daman Thread

halisi:The core in Drive Galvan (?) has been used before, by a B-Daman called "Battle Phoenix". The rollers aren't there to increase rapid fire, they're too close to the marble, they increase power further.

Also, I read it as "Emblem CHARGE System", which leads me to believe that the emblems compress the core when pushed and cause additional resistance for the marble to be fired. That's also been featured in other B-Daman, specifically the Phoenix series from Super B-daman and Cobalt Saber Fire from Battle B-Daman.

This leads me to believe that Drive Galvan uses a "squeezing" method to create additional power.
I was so excited hen I found these in stores as a child, since I saw the show. I begged my dad to buy me one.
Thats interesting to know blackace, those were just educated guess's I made, thanks for the info. Smile
Seems like but pushing the emblems on Garuban makes him more powerful, pushing the emblems on the Bee makes him more accurate, and pushing the emblems on Dravise... Well I dunno what they do. Looks like they're attached to some sort of ball/wheel thingy. I'm sure it increases rapid fire somehow...

Either way, this adds a whole new element to customizing B-Daman! I'm excited to see where this goes, to say the least.
TT has updated the youtube page with a new video, showing off the new series of figures. I was right on almost everything Smile. The Emblem Charge System(ES) utilizes the emblems on the arms to change a cores perfomance. Drive Garuban's emblem charge effect is increased power, he is a hybrid power power/ rapid fire "looks on smugly". It seems as though without charging the emblem he has a higher RF rate due to the rollers being lower. Here's the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpVmZYKbN2g. Also good guess rollout Smile.
Edit: They also updated the product page.
Emblem Charge System = ES, hah ? What ?
I dont really see where the emblems being squeezed in makes a difference, Drive=Garuban is probably the closest but in the video it doesnt seem like they actually do anything. I would be interested in seeing videos of them... That being said Im probably still gonna get Drive=Garuban just cause it looks so cool, I wonder if they are compatible with CCS cores.

edit: Hey, SLot=Beadle is the only one so far that still has the little hanging bit on the trigger, Im also not seeing any of those codes for the arcade game on these...
Anhy one notice the tune up gear on Drive Galban(?) in the video?
Look like a new magazine
It's also worth noting that all of these guys are lacking power blocks! That leads me to think that the emblems are replacing that. Pushing in the emblem is what gives the B-Daman it's punch. The more you're able to push in the emblem (obviously with Garuban, quite a bit) the more powerful the shot.

That's my theory.
Look close and you will see that there's also a tune up gear on Slot Beadle It's the barrel seen on the product page. Gaddiko didn't you see the comparison shot of Drive Caraburns emblem charge with the non-emblem charge?
halisi: yeah, at the time of posting though I didnt see what the emblem did to the actual B-Daman mechanically, now I saw, it presses the roller pieces in further.
CB-50 will be a starter : Drive=Garuburn, not Garuban.

@ Kaizer-V: So, it's out already in Japan, huh?
Not sure if anyone is interested, but I could really use some help here: http://b-dapedia.wikia.com/wiki/B-Daman_Wiki
I'm not trying to advertise, I just think it'd be a nice project for people who are willing to do it

I recently adopted it, and it needs a good cleaning, but it's the only B-Daman Wiki I've seen on the internet, so it's a great opportunity.

No, that's just a Takara-Tomy Blog picture, Garuburn isn't out until the 29th.
What? You mean they're not model kits anymore? AWESOME. Maybe this means they'll get a US release sometime along the line? Model kits usually don't do so well over in the states...

I wouldn't mind helping, I always cringed whenever I went there and saw the blatant lack of usefull information. Now I have an excuse to do something about it XD

Well, accounts are free to make, so if you could add it yourself I'd be grateful. I'm working on templates and things like that at the moment, and I'm also looking for some experienced B-Daman fans to make into admins.

One thing I'm definitely lacking is Crash B-Daman information, so if you have any knowledge about that, I'd be grateful.
Im not the most learned of B-ders, but Ill gladly help with the wiki. Im interested to see if the new packaging effects its US release, I would love to see it released in the US again and get more players around
plenty, such as the recent limited edition Spin Dravise. The core was semi-transluscent with pink prongs, while the other parts were silver with pink ascents.
I really love the direction Takara-Tomy went with this system, it'd be a matter of time until we can level the height by just our grip, without losing surface contact (which I know for a fact'd be illegal).

B-DaMortar? Tongue_out
So, we've gotten a little more info about eS on the WBBA development diary! It seems that the 5 special B-Daman (Like the 5 dragons of Cross Fight) will be legendary Chinese "gods" from what I can gather with Google Translate. (Lol)

-The Blue Dragon of the east (Sonic=Dravise) (Dragon)
-The Suzaku of the south (Drive=Garuburn) (Fire Bird)
-The White Tiger of the west (Tiger)
-The Genbu of the north (Tortoise)
-The central Kirin (Giraffe) -- Note it's not LITERALLY a giraffe. It's a Chinese mythical creature that in Japan is described using the same Kanji as giraffe. Here's the Wikipedia page of the creature for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qilin

They also show how the Dravise-like wheels on Garuburn further amplify the gimmick from the Accele core - Making the B-Dama spin more efficiently. The wings on the side of Garuburn's head can also be adjusted to fit more comfortably in your grip. You can also remove the translucent blue parts from Garuburn's toes and put them on the back as heel spurs so he can support magazines and loaders! (This thing is full of gimmicks!)

I'm loving the way this is turning out and can't wait to get my hands on these eS B-Daman!
