No, there's no need to play the previous games to understand the new ones. P2 is the only one that's a direct sequel. P4 is in the same universe as P3, but aside from some passing references to the previous game it has practically no connection.

... not to mention, good luck trying to find Persona: Revelations and Persona 2 anywhere for a reasonable price. I know they just reprinted P2, so that might be easier to find, but the first game in nigh impossible to get for under $100.

I did a home remedy on my 360, wrapped it in towels and turned it on for 10 minutes. I worked O_O

I got Fallout 3 today. Amazing. Period

No RRoD, but I'm getting the E 74 error along with one flashing red light on my Xbox 360, which apparently might end up being worse as:

General hardware failure

Another general hardware failure is shown by one flashing red light, and error codes E 74, E 79, or E 71 displayed on-screen. This can occasionally be fixed by ensuring that all A/V connections are securely attached. However, this error is often a result of a hardware failure that is not consumer-serviceable. These hardware failures are not covered by Microsoft's extended 3 year warranty.

Warranty period

Microsoft's extension of the warranty to three years only covers the "red ring of death" general hardware failure, not other errors causing only one flashing red light or video errors not associated with the "red ring of death".

wtf? So people who have their 360's RRoD on them get to have it fixed for free while I'll have to pay to get mine fixed? Am I getting this wrong or is that only referring to the extended 3 year warranty, not the warranty as a whole? I haven't even had mine for a year (bought it around April this year) and it's already having problems... And yes, I've checked the A/V connections, plugged out and plugged back in, etc.

Losing data isn't necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes it's good to restart games once you've gained knowledge of how they work. And it can improve your strategies and stuff...

you don't send your HDD in
