I don't have any problems with the PS3's online capabilities. For what it does, it does well. I am just a few clicks away from battling some dude (or a friend) online in SCIV and that is good enough for me. I don't believe you have to add a friend twice on PS3 games, or at least for the ones I own. Also, there is voice chat in and out of battle in SCIV.

Some of the things Roan stated are valid concerns however, and XBL is a million times better judging from the time I've spent with it.

I never said you mentioned Live. In fact, I brought it up. You were the one to suggest the only reason I say PSN sucks for the reasons you aforementioned. Do you even know how to hold an intelligent debate?

And of course a paid service is going to be better than a free service, we're not all idiots. The point we're making is some people are trying to make it as PSN and XBL are equals...and they are most certainly not.

Under that logic then within two year of Live service there is no price difference(unless that whole $199 Arcade rumor is true). And the only people who I've recently seen market free PSN membership are retailers, very little do I see Sony reps (who aren't Developer reps) saying "Did we mention, PSN is free?", nor do I see them in PS3 ads (It's more so, we have games that they don't, buy us, or that creepy doll). They more or less mention that PSN is a baby, and admit that they have a long ways to go.

PSN costs money to operate (server costs etcetera). Brad's argument is that the profit/funds used from the sale of PS3 pays for those costs. Thus, indirectly you ARE paying for it. I'm not a big proponent of the argument, but it's arguable.

I never mentioned System age, I said Service age, PSN launched in 2006. When did Live launch? Wasn't that back in 2002 with the launch of the original Xbox? Since no one keeps their service from day one the same Sony had a lot of notes to take, and they still are, but I can wait for free forever service, than how ever much a year(It may or may not be $52, I don't look at my brother's bills).

I see Avatars on that list, wasn't that announced last month? For sure it launched in 2005. Can't really trust that list. As well, a lot of those features are in PSN. Not all, but a lot, most of it is optional for developers to put in their games though. That's not PSN's fault, that's the developers of those games fault for not taking the time to implement those services(I'm still surprised Virtua Fighter 5 isn't online on PS3, there is no excuse for that).

It's still happening, not as much as before, maybe that new birdy chipset (Falcon? Eagle?) will finally fix that for good, and maybe Microsoft would stop using RROD victimed 360s as Refurbs and clear them from that channel.

Anywhos, Atari is still alive, Alone In The Dark shifted 1.2 Million copies, and DragonBall Z: Burst Limit shifted almost a million copies. Decent numbers for a game that was critically destroyed, and decent numbers from a game that got good reception(other than a few European sites that gave the game 2.5 and 3 out of 10, Atari bashing me thinks).

Legit Question: Does 360 allow you to record gameplay onto your HD or external memory? Or do you need a video tuner card and connect it to your PC?

Yeah, but you'd have to be naive not to think there are still RROD plagued 360s in the refurbished channel for sure. Which is why I'm holding off on buying that $160 Pro Refurb.
