I think I'm the only person here who's played call of duty since the original. A game with the style/substance of UO with perks and the updated engine is what I've been dreaming for in this series.

There was a flamethrower in some maps in United Offensive. Your standard weapon is chosen in the same way as 4, but there are also a couple pick-up weapons to combat tanks/catch people on fire found in houses and stuff.

And if the Japanese team gets a katana as a weapon, I would carp myself in joy. Me and my friends used to joke about this in high school.

And I get my bolt action rifles back, yeah yeah.

I think it would be awesome if they did. Adding in Katanas would certainly change the dynamic of the game.

1Up is supposed to be having some sort of exclusive footage coming up, so hopefully something is said about this.

Naw I have too. My dad bought the first one around its release date and we both beat it after about a week. Same with the second.

I'm really hyped for the game. I used to play Medal of Honor too,
I hope that game makes a good comeback alongside this game.

it's still exciting for them to be doing some new stuff with cod, cod4 single player aside from the sniping level and the nuclear explosion scene was kind of lame... infinite spawns nooo.

also world war ii isn't nearly as over done as most gaming sites or magazines will say; space marines and other settings are done arguably more often.

Earning a considerable combo is key to replenishing the stock of lives, and so gameplay revolves around striking the correct balance between risk and reward - when every "extend" is critical, the player is required to walk a fraught and complex path of timely sacrifice and preservation.

I hope the extra time Eden Games has for the PS3 AiTD is used to address the flaws on the 360 version. Many European sites ripped it apart. Many gave it no better than 3/10. But some gave it postive reviews like IGN UK(7/10), and others(one reviewer gave it 4/5). Considering many of these sites also ripped into DragonBall Z: Burst Limit (one site gave it 2/10), I'm starting to sense a biased agaisn't Atari. Which may be the reason Atari may get lawyers involved.

Secret Agent Clank is surprisingly warming up to me, as long as I forget that this game isn't a Ratchet & Clank game.

Ooh, I hate fanboys. Just went to IGN's AiTD boards, and some guy was ranting about how he didn't pay "$600 on a PS3 to play this piece of carp". Despite the fact that the game won't come out on PS3 until the Fall. *Sigh* Stupid people.
