Gaming Random Thoughts

*shrug* Believe me or not, I'm just stating fact.

Finally got back up to where I left off in Golden Sun: The Lost Age. Poseidon can bite my carp.

Still cannot thrash Taboo Sho Minamimoto in TWEWY. Damn weak-carp Beat and Sho's carp regen.
carp yes.

I scored 99% playing "Cherub Rock" (Drums) on Expert earlier today in Rock Band. I was proud of myself. lol
Double post, don't care.

I just watched the first 10 minutes or so of "gameplay" (In quotes because I saw way more cutscenes than actual gameplay) of MGS4. What little gameplay I saw, however, looked pretty boring.

Not impressed. Serious

So use your amazing beyheart to create your own Beyblade game. Smile
So let down with GTA4, so much carp got taken out from San Andreas, can't buy houses, can't talk to peds, less buildings to enter, less vehicles and weapons and the storyline is piss weak and to top more carp on the top the Physics suck carp, and the new wanted system does my head in.

GTA4 is pretty much like Halo 3 = OVERRATED.
kk roan i'll add you on monday, my friend is borrowing my ps3 for the weekend

I sorta heard the same thing from my friend at work, mind you they guy is a big fan and loves gta 4 but was dissapointed for the same reasons you mention.
Im playing SA right now and its plenty of fun especially because of random taxi runs hahaha. working out at the gym is cool too as it increases your stamina, build muscle.
!
actually, do you remeber exploring beyond the city limits into cities you ain't supposed to be near yet. if you touch land your wanted rating goes four stars and every one is on you. I was 'Wasted' in like 1 min. f'n police choppers

Yeah its really easy to get wanted and die easily, thing that pisses me off aswell is that you can't help out the Police like you could in San Andreas or Vice City, where if a criminal was getting chased and you took him down you would get a reward.

Oh well i'll probably try out Saints Row again to fill the gap for when Saints Row 2 comes out.
All of the missing carp from SA is great that it's not in IV.
so what do you guys think about banjo-kazooie 3.

Looks awesome, I hope they don't go crazy with the Vehicles and so on, hopefully this will mean Rare will be reviving some old titles down the road ( If Nintendo doesn't jew them again like they did with Goldeneye ).

I was really impressed by the graphics and art direction. Aesthetically the game looks great.

The gameplay, however, I'm really not sold on right now. I don't know enough about it to really make a fair judgment, and I realize that Rare had to do something to differentiate Banjo from all of the other mascot platformers out there right now, but I'm not sure the vehicle customization was the right way to go about doing that.

Banjo has always been a character driven platforming game, and that, at least from the footage I've seen, seems to have been lost amongst the developers at Rare.

But who knows, this could turn out to be really cool. I'm not hating on the game, just staying cautiously optimistic in case carp goes sour, because Rare has yet to prove their worth to Microsoft since their purchase (Well, Viva Pinata was almost a redemption, but it flopped hardcore at retail), or the gaming public in general, for that matter.
This is a gateway to a new Donkey Kong Wii platformer, I'm sure. Tongue_out
