"I-I don't want to f-fight you" said a little crying boy.
"Well face me kid." said a blader with a black mask.
"F-fine" replied the boy taking out his launcher.
"Three"
"T-two"
"ONE! GO SHOOT!!"
All of a sudden there was thunder as the beys were launched in the stadium.
"Go Aries! Show Ghoul what we are made of!" cried the boy.
"What a pathetic blader." whispered the masked blader.
"Grrr. Time to try my new special move. ARIES OMEGA RAMPAGE!" yelled the boy.
The Clay Aries glowed purple and started attacking Ghoul, but Ghoul kept his defence.
"What? Why isn't Ghoul slowing down?"
"Ghoul has something called the nova power. The nova power contains the best defence, attack, and stamina. It also drains all of the beys power every time the opponent bey hits Ghoul. Look at your Aries now." replied the masked blader.
The boy glanced at his Aries. It was slowing down.
"No, oh no, oh no. No wonder I was scared to battle Phantell."
"Now to end this battle and to drain all the bey spirit out of you and your bey. GHOUL NOVA DESTROYER!" yelled Phantell.

A black tornado appeared over Nova Ghoul absorbing the bey spirit out of the boy and the Aries.

"N-no!" cried the boy as blue wisp started coming out of his body.
"Yes. YES! Fill up your body with more beyspirit! Ghoul will get stronger!"
"H-help." whispered the boy as his eyes closed.
The tornado disappeared as it absorbed the last of the boy's and Arie's beyspirit.
Phantell took Ghoul and was looking at the crushed Aries.
"I will become the strongest blader in the world, and no one will stop me." Phantell said while laughing.

A few feet away stood Rico looking at his dead big brother.

Chapter 2: The Bey

It has been two months since his brother's death and Rico wanted revenge on Phantell. The only thing was he didn't have a beyblade
"I need to get a bey.." Rico muttered.
Rico looked everywhere for a beyblade, but couldn't find one. He wanted to buy one but he didn't have any money.

After looking in an alleyway, Rico decided to go home. As he was walking down the streets to his home village, Ultran, he ran into a tall man. He couldn't see the man's face because the man was wearing a hood.

"Sorry to bump into you, sir." Rico said looking down to the ground.
"Why you sad, kid?" the man asked.
"Well, have you heard of beyblade?"
"Ofcourse I have. I've played it since I was a child."
"Well, I'm looking for one and I can't find any. I try buying one but I hae no money."
"You know what kid. I'm going to give you the first bey I ever owned."
Rico looked up at the man with excitement.
"Really?" Rico asked.
"Really" replied the man.
The man took a blue bey out of his coat pocket and handed it to Rico.
"What is its name?" Rico asked, looking at the bey.
"Pegasis 105F. His special move is Pegasis Shooting Star." answered the man.
"Thank you. Thank you very much sir."
"Want me to tell you the secret to winning a bey battle?" asked the man.
"Sure"
The man bent down and whispered in Rico's ear,"It isn't attack, stamina, or defence that helps the bey win. It is the beyspirit and the bond between you and your bey."
"Beyspirit, and the bond between me and Pegasis." Rico whispered, looking at Pegasis.
"By the way, what is your name sir?" asked Rico, but as Rico looked up, the man was gone. "I wonder where he went. Well, I have to show my family Pegasis!"

Rico started to run towards Ultran, Pegasis in his right hand. As he ran through the village he ran into a man wearing glasses.
"Well hello there Rico." said the man.
Daidouji Rico thought.
"What do you want?" Rico asked.
"A battle. The prize is your Pegasis. And can we hurry this up. I can't wait to tell Phantell I defeated Samuel's pathetic 10-year-old brother" said Daidouji.
"Phantell.. Grrr. Don't call me pathetic!" yelled Rico taking out his string launcher.
"3"
"2"
"1! GO SHOOT!"
As the beys got launched into the arena, Pegasis glowed blue.
"Let us finish this fast, Wolf. WOLF OMEGA KILLER!" yelled Daidouji.
"Not about attack, stamina, or defence. It's about the beyspirit!! Go, PEGASIS SHOOTING STAR!"
Blue wisp starts surrounding Pegasis. The two blades attack eachother fiercely, but one bey stops spinning.
"I c-can't believe it. I WON!" said Rico.
Daidouji growled grabbing his Wolf and running away.
"I can't wait to tell mom and dad. Thank you Pegasis!" Rico said to Pegasis, walking towards Ultran.

A figure wearing a mask walks out from behind a tree after Rico is out of site.
"He has Pegasis, defeated Daidouji, and met the great blader. I can't let him stop my plan..." whispered Phantell.

and the end of the battle could be better,other then just saying "but one stops spinning"

Chapter 3: WBBA Tournament Part I

Since the day Rico got his Pegasis 105F he has been training hard to defeat Phantell.
Today, he wanted to relax so he sat down on the sofa and watched some TV. When he turned on the TV a commercial was showing.
A man appeared on the TV screen, holding a 4 inch trophy and said,"Hello fellow Bladers! I am Blader DJ. The WBBA would like to announce that we are having a tournament at the Ultran Beyblade Stadium. You can get serious beypoints. Each battle is one thousand beypoints, but if you make it to the World Championships the prize is The Beyblade Cup!" Blader DJ raised the trophy in the air. "And if you win the tournament you'll get to face, Ginga Hagane! So come to the tournament at Ultran at 1:00 P.M! See you soon bladers! 3, 2, 1, GO SHOOT!"

Blader DJ disappeared and the show "Mr.Bean" took its place.
Rico got all excited until he remembered something, " Dang, I need a beypointer."
He started to look for one in his brother's room. He looked under the bed, the closet, but couldn't find anything. He checked in Samuel's old toy box and finely found one.
Rico picked the pointer up and checked how many points it had.
"0? Well, better to start than to continue." Rico muttered attaching the pointer to his launcher grip.

At 1:00 P.M. Rico was already at the the tournament.
Blader DJ appeared and shouted, "Are you ready to battle?"
A rush of excitement went over the crowd.
Blader DJ smiled a yelled, "The first round is Rico vs. Alpha!"
Alpha, huh I thought.
"In this corner we have Rico! Rico is a newbie blader who has started beyblade yesterday and his bey is...PEGASIS?!?!?!?!" Blader DJ said in shock.
The crowd started whispering to eachother, "Pegasis. Can it be?"
Blader DJ's calm came back and said,"In the other corner, we have Alpha! He is a master at beyblading with his partner, Evil L-Drago!"
The crowd went wild as Alpha appeared.
This Alpha guy must be good at blading I thought, Well, I can win this.
"Your gonna lose kid." said Alpha.
"I wouldn't say that if I was you. How can the loser say he'll win?" I said.
The crowd had just gone "Oooooooo".
Alpha face turned red, "Your going to pay kid."

Chapter 3 Part 2
Blader DJ shouted to the crowd, "Are you ready? 3!"
"2" shouted the crowd.
"1! GO SHOOT!" yelled Rico and Alpha.
Alpha's left spinning bey, Evil L-Drago, was circling Pegasis like crazy.
"This will be so easy." whispered Alpha.
Blue wisp started surrounding Pegasis and Pegasis was glowing blue again. The two beys collided with eachother so hard that they created a fire.
Rico shouted, "Come on Pegasis!! Show L-Drago what you're made of!"
"End this quick, L-Drago" Alpha said.
L-Drago was pushing Pegasis back to the tip of the stadium. Pegasis trying to dodge L-Drago's hits, but L-Drago was too fast.
"Lets end this now shall we? L-DRAGO METEOR ASSAULT!" Alpha yelled.
Meteors started to come from the sky, trying to hit Pegasis. Pegasis kept dodging the attacks from the meteors.
Pegasis can't dodge those meteors forever, I have to end this Rico thought.
"Looks like Pegasis is cornered by L-Drago's attacks. Is this the end for Rico and Pegasis?" said Blader DJ.
Rico didn't know what to do. Then he thought about the new special move he's been working on. He yelled with alot of energy,"No it's not! Pegasis Freeze Star Attack!"
All of a sudden everything froze except Rico and Pegasis. Pegasis started spinning towards L-Drago rapidly. As Pegasis knocked L-Drago out of the stadium, time started again.

Alpha looked shocked and said as he picked up his Evil L-Drago, looking at it, "I lost... For the very first time... I lost..."

"Your a strong blader, Alpha." Rico said, taking out his hand.
Alpha looked up from his L-Drago, smiled, and shook Rico's hand and replied, "You too. You too."

A man appeared behind Alpha holding a bey to his neck.
Blue wisp started getting sucked out of Alpha and into the bey. Once all the wisp was absorbed from Alpha's body, Alpha fell to the ground.

Rico looked shocked and looked at the man, and saw that he was wearing a black mask.
"Phantell. You...You killed Alpha?!?!?!"
Phantell laughed.
"Rico, I challenge you to a battle!" Phantell said, holding up his bey, Nova Ghoul.
Rico looked at Alpha and then looked at Phantell.
Rico replied, "Your dead Phantell." Rico held up Pegasis.
"3, 2, 1, GO SHOOT!"
