Forge Disk - Nine

Quote:Nine is a Forge Disk released as part of the Burst System. It debuted with the release of the B-66 Booster Lost Longinus Nine Spiral on December 28th, 2016.

==Description==
Nine features nine downward sloping blades that are meant to create Down Force in left spin and Upper Force in right spin, akin to the blades of Boost, only reversed. However the small size of the blades makes any Down or Upper Force generated negligible. Furthermore, Nine's downward sloping nature of the blades increases the risk of floor scrapes and the Disk has an only average weight, so its Knock-Out resistance and attack potential lag behind those of Heavy, Gravity, 2, 4, 6 and 8.

==Overall==
Due to this Disk's average weight, negligible Down or Upper Force and risk of floor scraps, Nine is outclassed by many heavier Disks such as Heavy and Gravity. As such, Nine is suitable only for collection purposes.

I think that the detail about how Nine makes a lot of contact with other beys when on less stable drivers can be added in. In fact, this is how the vanilla L2NSp gets burst finishes in a lot of matches. Nine definitely has attack potential (to some degree). Also, Nine can add slight recoil due to the fact that it can make a lot of contact, which lowers burst resistance.

I've never heard of that. If that were true then wouldn't that also happen in other dropping disks like Down or Armed?
bastillion comment is true; many beyblades burst against lost longinus when its forge disc- nine is exposed

In a sense, yes, but the thing is Down's protrusions are insufficient in terms of making significant contact or lowering burst resistance. Don't have Armed so not commenting on that.

While this Disk only generates negligible Down or Upper Force and increases the risk of floor scraps, Nine also creates high Burst attack due to its jagged design. However Nine is still outclassed by many heavier Disks such as Heavy and Gravity and the Disk to Layer contact can increase the risk of Bursts. As such, Nine is suitable only for collection purposes.
