Sting is a Forge Disc released by Hasbro as part of the Hypersphere System. It debuted with the release of Ace Dragon D5 Sting Charge-I-H.

Sting, despite being named for the Takara Tomy disc of the same name, has barely any similarities with it. It is significantly smaller, which drastically reduces weight. Furthermore, there is no gimmick, instead, it is compatible with a frame, much like Core Discs. This severely cuts into the underside of the disc as well. This renders Sting much lighter than almost any other Core Disc, meaning it finds no use in any sort of combination.

Hasbro's Sting is a rather light and small disc, with almost none of the advantages of the original Takara Tomy Sting. Even by the standards of Core Discs, it is impressively bad compared to most of them. Therefore, Sting should be considered for collection purposes only.
