okay. my last fanfic totally sucked. I have a new one. keep in mind I will only have a chapter come out every two or three days. anyways, enjoy!

"LET IT RIP!" Steven and Cleo yelled simultaneously.
Their beys were stronger than ever, and so were their new launchers. Suddenly, a loud crack comes from Cleo's bey. Steven and Cleos' beys clash again and another loud crack comes from Cleo's bey. Cleo doesn't seem to notice, like a chicken watching her chick getting eaten. After a fifth crack, Cleo blinks, and worry floods through her head. She tries to grab her bey, but the second her hand makes contact with it, it shatters to pieces like glass.

Chapter 1:

"Ugh!" Steven said sounding annoyed.
It's annoying when something gets lost in a bush, but it's even worse when it's a green Beyblade.
"It's not my fault you chose a stadium next to the forest!" Cleo said while rolling her eyes at her brother. "It's also not my fault that my bey is too powerful."
"Actually," Steven interrupted, "I clearly remember you telling the proffes--"
"I don't want to hear it!" Cleo yelled. "Just find your bey already."
Steven and Cleo walked a little farther into the forest when suddenly, Steven's bey came flying towards his face like a speedball coming for a catcher. Steven sees his bey, ducks, and puts his hands on his head. Cleo grabs Steven's bey midair, then drops it on Steven's head. She takes a look at her hand and it's bruised.
"Is that your bey?!" a voice that came from the forest said. "I've never seen it before!" The person who was talking in the forest walked out. They looked so excited it seemed like anyone in a mile could feel the excitement. 
"Hi! My name is Jen! Just Jen. Not Jenny." Jen said. "My bey is Rage Longinus! Wanna battle?"
"Sure!" Cleo said. "My name is Cleo!"
Steven shyly waved.
Jen dashed out of the forest. She seemed very energetic. it wouldn't be much of a problem.
"Hey wanna do a three-way battle?" Jen asked.
Cleo and Steven nodded in agreement and took their launchers out. When Jen took out her launcher, she had her launcher in one hand which for some reason didn't have the handle to pull the string. In her other hand, she had a teal crystalline key.
"3!" Everyone got into their launch position.
"2!" Cleo and Steven put their fingers on their launcher handles. Jen plugged her key into her launcher
"1!" Jen turns her key and her launcher and key light up.
"LET IT RIP!" Everyone yelled as they pulled their strings.
All three beys were headed towards the middle. They clashed with a CLANG! Steven's bey, Treptune went flying, but luckily, not towards the forest. Rage Longinus hit the edge of the stadium, ricocheting off on a crash course towards Cleo's bey, Smash Harsphinx. Harsphinx dodges the attack and takes the middle. Longinus starts spinning around the stadium like a tornado. Harsphinx's Hammers popped out and Rage Longinus hit one. Rage Longinus bursted!
"That was awesome!" Jen exclaimed.
Cleo took a look at Jen's launcher and asked, "Where did you get a launcher like that?!"
"It's my keygrind launcher." Jen said casually while spinning her crystalline key on her finger. "My dad made it a while ago."
"Can we meet your dad?" Steven asked excitingly.
From the look on Jen's face, Steven realized he hit a sore topic.
"Why?" Cleo asked.
"Just... No" Jen sounded a bit irritated. Then she walked back into the forest

Chapter 2:

"So tell me again." Cleo said. "WHY IS THERE A SNAKE AND AN ELEVEN YEAR OLD BOY IN THE HOUSE?!?!" She screamed at Steven as she stood on her couch with a fly swatter.
"That wouldn't do a thing to a snake Cleo!"
"Hey! I'm 15!" The boy yelled. "Come here Raso. You're scaring the human girl."
Raso slithered up the boy's leg.
"Sorry about that. Raso just wanted some excersize." Ban apologized. Then he bowed.
"That's okay." Steven said
"Not okay." Cleo mumbled
"Shut up Cleo." Steven whispered.
Ban just stared at them.
"Anyways, I came here to battle you two. My name is Ban Noiji. Do you have a stadium?"
"There's one in the garage. I'll get it." Steven replied. As he walked past Ban he whispered in his ear. "Don't try anything with her."
Ban cringed. "Great. See you in the front yard. Ban walked out of the room. Cleo watched him turn a corner. But when she turned, he wasn't there.
"Weird. I must have spaced out." Cleo said.

As Steven, Cleo, and Ban gathered around the stadium, a boy ran up to Cleo and opened his palm. In it was a broken bey. It took Cleo a moment to register what that meant.
"What?!" Cleo's head turned from the boy to Ban. "I'll judge first. Steven you go." I need to see this. Cleo thought.
"Okay guys, first to three points wins." Cleo instructed.
Steven took out his green string launcher. But Cleo's jaw dropped when she saw Ban's launcher.
"You have a keygrind launcher too?!" Cleo exclaimed.
"Just hurry up." Ban said sounding irritated.
"Jeez okay." Cleo said under her breath. She started to realize a crowd was gathering.
"3!" Everyone yellled simultaneously.
"2!" Ban's key formed around his pointer finger. It was purple.
"1!" He inserted it into his launcher.
"LET IT RIP!!!"
Steven and Ban pulled their strings.
"My bey is Ruler Basilisk Plight." Ban said. "Nobody beats it."
Both Treptune and Basilisk headed straight for the middle.
"Plight counter!" Ban yelled.
Treptune hit Basilisk with full force but basilisk hadn't taken any damage. Basilisk took the middle and Treptune started to circle the edge of the stadium.
"Tryihg to outlast me eh?" Ban said cooly.
Basilisk started to wobble.
"FINAL RULER BARRICADE!" Ban yelled.
"SCREW COUNTER!" Steven yelled.
The second Treptune came into contact with Basilisk, it burst.
"Argghhh!" Steven grunted in frustration.
"Ruler Basilisk Plight wins the round with a burst finish!" Cleo declared. "Two points to Ban No- -"
"Hey Steven," Ban interrupted. "might wanna check that bey of yours."
Steven looked down. There was a crack.
"Steven!" Cleo exclaimed. "Don't do it!"
"C'mon Cleo. I can take him." Steven said in a cocky tone.
"She's right Steven. Your bey is in no condition to battle."
Steven sighed. "Ok fine you win blah blah."
"Steven forfeited," Cleo declared. "Ban - -"
"Just battle me already Cleo." Ban interrupted.
"STOP INTERRUPTING ME!" Cleo yelled.
As she raised her hand to slap Ban in the face, Raso came to the rescue.
"HSSSS!"
"Yeek!" Cleo jumped back.
Ban face palmed. Cleo took her launcher out.
"First to three points wins!" Steven said.
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
"LET IT RIP!!!!!"
Harsphinx circled the stadium and Basilisk went to the middle.
"Hammer launch!" Cleo said.
Harsphinx went for Basilisk.
"Plight counter!" Ban instructed.
Cleo knows Basilisk's defense is superior. She's gonna drain it's stamina. Did she not learn from my last battle?! Steven thought.
Harsphinx collided with Basilisk.
"Wait, what?" Ban said with confusion in his voice.
"Hammer break!" Cleo yelled.
Two of Harsphinx's hammers popped out.
"Plight parry!" Ban said
Harsphinx collided with Basilisk. Basilisk barely took any damage. Harsphinx's hammers back and started wobbling. But Basilisk stopped moving already.
"Errghh!!" Ban grunted. "Stupid beyblade!! AAAH!"
Then he threw his bey into the ground hard. PSSSHHHHHH!!!!
"Wait," Cleo said. "did you just hit the waterline?!"
"Seeya losers." Ban said as he walked away.
"I hope Mom and Dad's insurance covers for this." Steven said

I actually finished chapter 3 but I think I'll post it after I finish chapter 4. I'll have another character contest after chapter 5 is finished
