Chapter I
Reformed Bonds!
Shin woke up to the sound of his alarm clock. “Yes!” he thought, “It’s time to go back home!” He climbed down from his bunk bed and tapped lightly on Toko’s shoulder. He had recently been gaining his brother's sleeping habits and could not hear the alarm clock. They were in a big white room covered with Toko’s blading idols. Shin just had a large desk with all of his school stuff on it. The room was very small; maybe 30 square feet. He tapped once more, this time, a little harder. Toko woke up and asked groggily, “What's happening? Is it already time for school? I wanna go back to bed.” “It’s time to go home, Toko! Back to Japan!” Shin explained. “We get to see Shu and Valt again!” Toko said, “I wanna battle both of them so badly! I have improved SO much!” “Why do you like beyblade so much? I think it looks fun and all, but it is all you think about.” Shin said, but only in his mind. Instead Shin said, “Let’s get ready, we might miss the plane! I’ll go wake up Arina.” At that moment Arina burst into their dorm room. She was clad in an orange cloak; her signature look. Then she said, “Are you guys ready? In a few hours, we will be back in Japan!”
The flight had been brutal. It was 18 hours of listening to Toko and Arina arguing about who would battle who when they got back home. Shin tried to sleep for a good 3 hours, but his friends yacking combined with the uncomfortable plane seats made it impossible. He was glad to be out of that plane and back in Japan. Arina had arranged for a limo to pick them up from the airport. It was much more comfortable than the airplane with leather seats and a snack bar. “Why didn’t we fly in Wakiya’s private jet?” asked Shin, “It would have been SO much more comfortable.” Arina replied, “He is using it right now to fly around the world and find the newest Tenacious Ten. They are the ten bladers that have been rising most quickly in the official ranking.” “Of course he is,” Shin sighed. They spent the rest of the car ride talking about what they were going to tell Valt and Shu when they got back to their home. It had been much too long.
When they got to the Murasaki mansion, Valt and Shu were standing outside with another figure. It was… Wakiya? They all ran out of the car into their siblings.”How was school?” Shu asked. “It was very mediocre,” they all said at once. “It is so good to see you again!,” said Shin happily. “Was it really that bad?” Shu asked. “It was fine,” they all chorused. “We’ve gotten so much better at beyblade!” said Toko and Arina to change the subject. “We were at the top of the club there. We want to battle!” “Oh, so you guys think that you are on our level?” asked Wakiya. Then they walked inside. It was huge and glimmering. There were diamond chandeliers and expensive paintings everywhere. “Since you guys are so excited about battling, let’s go to the Bey training area,” Valt suggested. “There are three areas. The workout room, the forge room, and the battle areas.” “Let’s go to the battle room! We have so much to show you!” Arina and Toko said. “Speaking of battling, I think it is time I show you something,” Shu told Shin while the others were preparing for a battle. “What?” Asked Shin, “I don’t blade?” “Well you have never had a Bey before have you?” Shu asked, “It’s time you got one.” “Let’s battle now!” squealed Toko and Arina. They got set up for a four way battle. “Let’s watch this first,” said Shu. “Before I show you Storm…”
“First battle! I will be the ref.” Shu announced. Everybody got ready. Arina and Toko showed their beys that they had just upgraded. 3..2..1.. GO SHOOT! Toko launched as hard as Valt while doing a punching launch. Arina launched while doing the splits and hit right in the middle of the stadium and stayed there. “Infinite Athreal! GO! Infinite spin!” Arina’s Bey was steady in the middle. It was very similar to Tornado Wyvern except it had a few changes. It spun left instead of right and half of the blades were rubber. It also had a special ability... Then suddenly Brave Valkyrie swooped in with insane speed and smashed Athreal HARD. Athreal appeared to burst. “YES!” yelled Valt. “It burst!” “Oh no it didn’t!” Athreal hit the edge of the stadium with its atomic driver rolled back into the fray. “Oh? What happened? What is that piece?” Valt questioned. Brave Valkyrie swung in. “Brave Sword!” Athreal burst. “Ah man!” Arina whined. “You were almost toast!” Meanwhile, Toko was facing off against Wakiya. Wyvern was spiraling around the stadium. Suddenly Trident swept in. “Go Trident! Trident beam!”(Like tractor beam.) yelled Toko. Trident hit Wyvern but was blasted up into the air. “Trident!” Toko yelled. The magnets inside Tridents 3 wings activated. The magnets drew Wyvern up into the air. “Interesting…” said Wakiya. That is when Wyvern slammed into Trident and burst it. “NO! Trident!” “Well It looks like you two still have room to grow,” said Valt.
Meanwhile, Shin was watching intensely. Wow Valt and Wakiya are amazing Shin thought. It is almost as though they can talk to their beys… They act like their Beys are some of their friends. It looks so much more… Fun?! I kinda wanna see what Shu has cooked up now. I’m kinda more excited now. Either way, he was excited to be with Shu back at home. “Now, are you guys ready for some spaghetti?” asked Shu. “Yes!” the three younger siblings yelled. Shin thought, Good old Shu…
Deep in the ruins of the Snake Pit...
“It is finally ready…”
“...time for the final step…”
“...now the blading world will fall under shadow…”
“...Phoenix...”
“...Apocalypse…”
“ and………”
“Spriggan”
“Breaking News!” said a news reporter on the Murosaki Mansion TV. “We have a new Beyblade tournament coming soon! Welcome to the Breakpoint Tournament! Everyone will be eligible to join this tournament. This tournament will prove who the best blader in the world is! A list of famous bladers will be automatically put into the finale at the quarter dome. These bladers are… Valt Aoi, Aiger Akabani, Dante Koryu, Free De La Hoya, Lui Shirosagi, Wakiya Murasaki, Xander Shakadera, and Gwyn Ronny.” Toko yelled, “Look guys! A new tournament!” “This can be a tournament you can start out with, Shin!” explained Arina. “I’ll pull up the website on my laptop!” Valt said. “Then, we can all sign up! It looks like the first round for our area is… in two weeks! You are going to have to get better quickly, Shin.” “Uh… I don’t know if I should start with such a hard tournament.” Shin mumbled. “Sure you should!” Toko and Arina chorused. “We will do it with you! “ Fine then. Let’s do it!” cheered Shin!
“It is done. The legends don’t have a chance.”
“The breakpoint system will destroy all of them.”
“It is time for the final battle. Red Eye will get his second chance…”
Chapter II
Spriggans Revival!
Beat Fumiya!
“Hey Shin, are you ready to reforge Storm Spriggan?” asked Shu. “Yes!” Shin said excitedly. After the battle with the siblings he was ready to get a Beyblade. It looks SO fun! “This is Storm Spriggan. My first beyblade.” Shu explained while holding a red bey with two scythes “Wow!” Shin said. “Can we battle? I want to try it out!” “Not now, Shin. It is much too weak. What you need is to evolve it! You won’t get anywhere with a dual layer.” Shu explained. “Only you can decide what it will be! It will be uniquely yours. You can decide the shape, kind of bey, and series of it.” “Hmm…” Shin wondered, “How will I reforge it?” “Here is a beyblade creation system. It will help you make Spriggan.” They walked into a separate room of the Murasaki mansion. It had numerous 3D printers that each printed different materials and a huge computer to design it. It also has a forge. “Woah, this is amazing,” And then Shin was off to start remaking Spriggan…
“It’s done!” Shin yelled. “I’ve finally finished.” It had been 3 days since Shu had given him Storm Spriggan. “Let’s see it!” Arina, Toko, Valt, Wakiya, and Shu corused. They had been coming back to the manion every day. Wakiya and Arina’s home was much nicer than Shu’s apartment or the Aoi family’s house. “This is Siege Spriggan!” Shin explained. Shin showed them Siege Spriggan. It was a dynamite system beyblade that looked very similar to Storm Spriggan with a fused chip. It had two scythes that were upgraded into rubber for extra recoil. The armor is another double scythe design made of metal called Double. It can be configured in two ways. Attack mode, in which the scythes are aligned. Defence mode, in which there are four symmetrical scythes. The rest of the parts stayed the same from Storm Spriggan. “Well now that you have a new Bey let’s battle!” said Toko. “Let’s go!” “Ok!” Shin said excitedly.
They arrived at the Murosaki Mansion stadium. “This will certainly be exciting,” Valt said. “Indeed,” Wakiya agreed. Toko and Shin lined up to battle. 3...2...1… GO SHOOT! Shin did a simple launch with his right string launcher. Toko did a launch similar to a punch like earlier. Spriggan zoomed to the center. “Go Spriggan!” Shin yelled. Meanwhile, Trident zoomed in a spiral on a collision course with Spriggan. “Go Trident! Harmonious Break!” Trident went in with a speedy attack. It hit Spriggan HARD. Spriggan started flying back, but then Unite’s rubber rubbed against the stadium and it zoomed around Trident and hit it from the back! Trident went flying back. “What.. What just happened?” Shin asked. “You just found Spriggan’s first special attack.” Shu said. “It is called counterbreak.” “We are not done yet!” Toko yelled. “Go Trident! Absorb Smash!” Trident absorbed it’s attack on Spriggan. Shin though he had gotten off easy… then the attack happened. Then Trident came back around and the pressure on the rubber released in a burst of power. Spriggan flew out of the stadium. “That was awesome!” Shin yelled happily. “Why are you so happy? I just beat you.” Toko questioned. “I should have lost. Look at how good I did! It was amazing!” Shin explained. “I’ll take you on next! You can practice your counter break!” said Arina…
Shin, Toko, and Arina walked over to the Bey Park. The Bey Park is a park where bladers come to battle. Shin thought that he could find some weaker bladers there to battle and actually have a chance. He had battled Arina and Shu after he battled Toko. He was absolutely destroyed in both battles. When they got there, there were a bunch of teenagers rolling around on the grass laughing. “What’s happening?” Shin asked. ‘Um… we have no idea. This is not how it usually is,” Arina replied. “It’s Fumiya,” Toko groaned. Fumiya was another boy wearing fancy clothes who was screaming at all the teenagers on the lawn of The Bey Park. He also had a “Kick me” sign on his bottom. “SHUT UP AND START TRAINING! THIS IS A TOP TIER CLUB! WHAT IS SO FUNNY!” Fumiya screamed. “Oh hello visitors. My club is using this park currently.” Fumiya addressed Shin and his friends. “It doesn’t look like it.” said Arina. “If you are using it, then let’s battle!” “You think YOU can take ME? Hilarious.” scoffed Fumiya. Then Shin stepped up. “Hello Fumiya. I am Shu Kurenai. I have read all about your accomplishments. Let me battle with you.” Shin said while winking at Toko and Arina. “YOU want to battle ME? YES! By the way, you are much shorter in real life.” Fumiya swooned. Shin looked very similar to Shu so he could get away with pretending to be him sometimes. Fumiya and Shin lined up at one of the numerous stadiums. “Are you sure you want to battle Fumiya? He is definitely weak, but he’s no rookie.” Arina asked. Shin just winked.
Then the battle started. 3...2...1… GO SHOOT! Fumiya and Shin both did simple launches. Wizard Fafnir hit right into the middle of the stadium. Siege Spriggan swooped around the middle without attacking. It was pretty fast for a balance type. Shin was more worried about the outcome of the battle then he let on. He knew Fumiya was a good blader. He had not been able to trigger a single counterbreak after his battle with Toko. Suddenly, Spriggan dived toward the middle of the stadium. “Let’s go! Spriggan!” Fafnir just sped up after the hit. “Shu… you should know that I can just steal your spin. There is no use.” Fumiya pondered. “I know.” is all Shin said. Spriggan kept attacking and Fafnir kept spinning faster. “Uh… Shin?” Toko asked and then corrected himself, “I mean Shu.” Again, Shin just winked. As you can see, he winked a lot. Eventually, Fafnir was spinning so fast that it started zooming across the stadium. “Spriggan is running out of steam!” Arina noted. Then right as Spriggan was falling over Fafnir ran itself out of the stadium! Sadly though, Spriggan had already fallen over. “How… I was… Absorbing… Your… Spin…” stuttered Fumiya. “It’s genius. He made Fafnir so fast that it threw itself out of the stadium!” Toko explained. “Well, I got a point either way… SHIN KURENAI.” Fumiya yelled. “So you figured it out.” Shin smirked. “Let’s keep going.” 3...2...1… GO SHOOT! Except… Shin simply spun his bey with his hand. Fafnir hit it hard. “We’re going for a burst!” Fumiya explained. Shin replied, “We'll see about that.” Suddenly Spriggan sped up. Fafnir hit it again. Spriggan sped up again. “Looks like I’ve stolen your ability.” Shin said. “WHAT!” Fumiya screamed. They just watched the battle happen. There was nothing to be done. The Beys were just equalizing their spin. Finally, the Beys ran out of spin. Fafnir rolled for a micro second longer than Spriggan…

“Man, I wish I had won…” trailed off Shin. “It’s okay.” Toko said. “You did really well and came up with some great strategies.” ”Yeah, you should be proud.” Arina added. “Well I still wish I could have won. It was fun though!” replied Shin. “I’m excited for the tournament!”
To Be Continued…
Chapter III
Flaming Enigma!
Blazing Preparation!
Shin, Toko, and Arina had all woken up early to come to the Beyblade center at the Murasaki Mansion. Arina was standing outside when Toko and Shin had arrived. “What took you guys so long?” asked Arina. “Well, it might have been the fact that WE DON’T LIVE HERE!” Toko responded grumpily. “Someone didn’t get enough sleep.” Shin chimed in. “I’m fine.” Toko replied, sounding like he wasn’t fine. “Does someone need to take a nap? Maybe baby Toko?” Arina taunted. “Just stop…” moaned Toko. “Fine.” Arina replied. She teased her friends sometimes, but she never took it too far. Shin was glad for it too. He wanted them to be fully focused as they prepared. Shin said, “Come on guys. Let’s go train!” They walked into the Murosaki mansion. Toko eyed the kitchen as they walked by it. “Can we grab some breakfast before we battle?” he asked, “I’m starving!” “Sure!” Shin responded. He was pretty hungry himself…
“Now, let’s get to battling!” Shin said after they had a hearty breakfast. They ran to the stadium room. “I’ll battle you first!” Both Toko and Arina said. “No, I'll battle him first!” they yelled at each other. “We can do a battle royale!” Shin suggested. “Are you sure Shin?” Arina asked. “Battle Royales are really hard.” “That's the only way to get better, isn’t it. Battling harder is the only way to be successful so I have to do better. I really want to gain some resonance! I don’t even know what Spriggan sounds like!” Shin explained. “Now let’s do this! Don’t hold anything back.” “About training… well I might have… maybe… signed… you… both up for a 3 VS. 3 tournament with me..” Toko said guiltily. “We had ended practice and there was only 1 spot left.” “Without our permission! Actually, that sounds really fun, but WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION!” Arina yelled. “Cool!” was all Shin said. “You’re ok with this?!” Arina asked. “I mean, it sounds fun so… yeah.” Shin replied. Arina sighed. Shin said, “It will be fun, Arina. Let’s go get training!”
“3...2...1… GO SHOOT!” Arina, Shin, and Toko yelled! They all used their signature launches. (Described in the previous chapters.) Shin just used a normal starter launch. “We really need to work on your launch,” Toko commented. “Go, Harmonious Spin!” Trident swooped in toward the middle and took the center. “Oh no you don’t!” Arina yelled. “Infinite Strike!” Athreal swooped in and rapidly hit Trident. “Let me get in on the action! Spriggan!” Shin yelled. Spriggan just swooped around the stadium. “He does not have resonance yet.” Toko muttered, “He can’t even control Spriggan.” Meanwhile Trident and Athreal both got knocked out of the middle. Athreal’s driver, Atomic Metal, rolled back and retained most of it’s stamina. It rolled right into the path of Spriggan and got nailed. “Yes!” Shin yelled, “It’s a burst!” and the Infinite armor hit Spriggan from the top while Athreal (Definitely not burst.) smashed it from the side. Then, suddenly Trident smashed into the other side. All of the beys flew up into the air. “Who’s gonna win?!” they all chorused. Each bey burst at once. “I got my first tie!” Shin said excitedly, “Next time I’m going to win!”
When they were done training, Shin walked home from Arina’s home. When he got back to Shu’s apartment, nobody was there. It only took Shin a minute to confirm his theory. Shu wasn’t there. “Where could he be?” Shin pondered out loud. That's when the phone rang. “Is Valt at your place? He’s late for dinner, and you know he would never miss a meal.” Toko’s voice rang from the telephone. “Neither Valt or Shu are here,” Shin said worriedly, “They might be training?” Then Shin saw a letter on the brown table. On the front it said,
Dear Shin. If I am not back by dinner, then find Valt and he will tell you what has happened. You may find it very surprising.
From,
Shu
Toko was still talking, “Are you still there? Hello?” “Yeah. I found a message from Shu. It says to ask Valt about what happened if he did not come back. Valt is missing though…” Shin said. Then he opened the letter. It had already been opened, presumably by Shu. “I found a letter that he wrote it on. It says…”
Shu Kurenai. It is time you come to battle once more my… shall we say club. If you don’t, we will capture Shin, and teach him how to really blade. And if he does not cooperate… well let’s just say that's not in his best interest. I hope you take this letter into consideration.
Glass
“SHIN! Are you even listening!” Toko yelled in his friend's ear. “I found a letter from Valt that said he was off to follow Shu somewhere! That means that they are together.” That’s when Shin read the letter aloud for Toko. “Do you know what glass is?” Shin asked. “I just might! You know that trio tournament I submitted you for?” “Yeah.” Shin responded. “It was sponsored by GLASS industries! That means Glass is the person who owns that business!” Toko said excitedly. “That’s not much to go on. It’s ok though, we’re worrying too much. I bet they are just on a fun adventure” Shin replied. “Let’s just sleep on it. Bye!” And he hung up. He made himself a sandwich, ate it, and went to sleep.
Sorry this chapter was short.
Chapter IV
Blinding Resonance!
The Glass Cup!
“Are you guys ready?” Arina asked Toko and Shin. “No,” they both responded. “There’s no way we can win with me on our team. Then we won’t ever find Shu,” Shin said glumly. “We have to battle Fumiya’s team. They have Fumiya and two right spinning attackers. The attackers could probably take us out without Fumiya and then Valt will be gone forever,” Toko said in the same manner as Shin. “Use your fear of losing to help you win! It will help,” Arina replied. They were walking down the concrete sidewalk on their way to the Bind Stadium. The sky was a deep blue and there was a slight wind. “Come on, cheer up! We are starting our road to winning the first ever trio cup! We need to hurry if we don’t want to be late,” Arina yelled back at them while sprinting, “See y'all there!”
“Wow, these training rooms are amazing!” Toko said. Him and Shin were feeling better after Arina’s pep talk. It was a grey room with a luminescent green line near the top of the walls. There were 8 benches circling a beystadium. “Why did we have to get the first battle?” Arina was now the one with nerves. Then suddenly a loud speaker boomed from a door that led on to the stage. “Kicking off the tournament of Glass we have… Fumiya’s Phantoms and… Toko’s Team!” “You named OUR team TOKO’S TEAM!” Arina raged. “It was the only thing I could think of.” Toko said defensively. “Guy’s let’s go!” Shin reminded them. He opened the door and walked through…
As soon as Shin walked through the door, he was blinded. A blinding shade of white fell upon them. A huge spotlight was focused on him. He couldn’t make out what the announcer was saying through all the noise of the crowd. Then suddenly a clear voice cut through the noise. “Focus, Shin.” And all of a sudden the noise faded and he could see again. On the other side of the stadium there was a trio consisting of Fumiya and two of his lackeys. Then Shin noticed the stadium. “Introducing our new Bind Stadium!” the announcer boomed. The crowd cheered. The Blast Stadium was a uniquely hexagonal shape with a circular pit in the middle. 2 rings encircling the middle of the stadium were spinning. One spun left and one spun right. “Well this looks fun,” Toko said sarcastically. “We’ll just have to deal with it,” Arina responded. Shin sighed, “As if it wasn’t hard enough.” The announcer finished his explanation and then told the bladers to get set.
It’s almost time…
The three are prepared…
They will make their debut in the Tokyo round…
The Dark Turbo revolution...
Let the Glass Cup begin…
“Bladers set!” the judge yelled. 3...2...1… GO SHOOT! All bladers launched. Both of the random bladers on Fumiya’s team copied his launch and lunged forward toward the stadium. All three of them moved in one fluid motion. Toko launched like he was pitching a baseball and Arina did her signature splits. All Shin did was a normal launch. Spriggan swooped around the outside. Shin’s plan was to keep spinning just in case it was a simultaneous finish for the other bladers. He new he wouldn’t be of much use but if Toko and Arina weakened one… Meanwhile, Athreal and Trident kept trying to get to the center, but the spin ring made them swoop away every time they got close. Fumiya had launched right in the middle with his launch and Fafnir was looking strong. Both of Fumiya’s lackeys were zooming around the outside. “Go Spark Wings!” Fumiya yelled. Both of his teammates yelled their respective beyblades names, and launched a ferocious attack on Athreal and Trident. Both Arina and Toko gritted their teeth. “Go Athreal! Infinite Canon!” Arina yelled. Athreal’s outer layer flew out and hit the spark wings off long enough for Trident to escape. “Go Toko! Escape!” Arina called out. Without her armor now, Athreal burst easily. “NO! Arina!” Both of her teammates shouted. Shin was getting worried. He didn’t know if Athreal bursting was worth Trident escaping. Spriggan was strong, but it couldn’t spin forever. Then, Trident finally broke through the spin plate. It hit Fafnir, and had all of it’s stamina drained! Both of the Spark Wing lackeys swooped in and rang out Trident. “NO! Trident!” Toko yelled. He was crying. “Come on Shin! Do it for Valt and Shu! You have too!” “Shin tried to respond, but found himself crying instead. Shin and Valt were doomed. They would never solve the mystery. Shin had no family left after Shu. It was the end…
“No. It’s not the end.” a voice in Shin’s mind said. Suddenly time stopped. “Who are you? What… What just happened?” Shin cried. “I am… Spriggan.” the voice responded. “You are not the only one who wants to find Shu.” “But… it can’t be you. I don’t have any resonance.” Shu sniffed. “You do now. If a bey and it’s owner want the same thing badly enough, it can connect them.” “There’s nothing we can do though!” “Are you saying you give up? Would you just give up on Shu like that?” Shin thought. “No. I won't give up. We will keep on fighting.” “Then let’s do this. I will show you the way.” Were Spriggans last words. Shin’s face went from lost to determined in a second. The spectators were already getting up for snacks for the next round. “What happened to Shin?” Toko asked. “He looks… ready.”
“It’s time! Spriggan! Counter Break Rush!” That’s when the entire building went quiet. Viewers sat back down. Spriggan tilted. And then it sped up to the speed of light in a direct beeline to Fumiya’s helpers. And then it twisted and turned. Spriggan was using 100s of counterbreaks in rapid succession. Every bey beside Spriggan and Fafnir suddenly burst. “Wow!” the announcer said, “Shin Kurunai starts the greatest comeback I’ve ever seen!” It was a standoff between Shin and Fumiya now so naturally, that’s when Shin ran out of resonance and his Counter Break Rush stopped. “Oh no!” Arina said, “He can’t counterbreak against Fumiya!” Shin glanced at Arina. “We’re not done yet!” Spriggan dove into Fafnir. “You can’t win. We will just equalize until I win because I have more life after death. You’re doomed!” Fumiya explained. “I’ll be the champion now!” “No. This isn’t how it ends. Toko, Arina! Talk to your beys. They will tell you what to do.” Shin called to his teammates. “They’re OUT you dingus! They can’t help you!” Fumiya scoffed. Then suddenly, Toko and Arina’s faces flickered into determination. “What’s happening?” Fumiya pondered, “You’re all out. I win! End of story.” And now we come to the part of the story explaining the Trio rules more in-depth. One major difference is that all bey’s that have lost are put on the side of the stadium. Extra detachable pieces will remain untouched until the end of the round. Now back to the story…
“GO!” All three of Toko’s Team yelled, “Unite!” Suddenly all three of their beys started glowing all colors of the rainbow even if they burst. “GO Trident Beam!” all three of them yelled. “Trident was knocked OUT you dinguses!” Fumiya yelled. That’s when Trident’s three wings activated and pulled Arina’s armor into the side of the stadium where it ricocheted and was hit directly by Siege Spriggan. “GO Spriggan/Athreal!” Shin/Arina yelled. Spriggan hit the armor and because they spun in opposite directions it sped up. “GO INFINITE CANON!” Arina/Shin yelled. The armor blasted off Spriggan and directly hit Fafnir. Because the armor and Fafnir both spun left, it was direct contact. Fafnir burst!
He had done it. Shin’s team had won. He could still find Shu. He also had developed some resonance. Today was a good day. Then he returned to reality. “GET OFF THE STAGE SHIN!” Toko yelled, “Are you Deaf!” Shin quickly walked back through the door to the waiting room and then walked outside. “Ahh fresh air.” Shin sighed. “That. Was. AMAZING.” Arina said. “Yeah, but not without casualties.” Toko replied. “What do you mean?” Shin asked. Toko pulled Spriggan out of Shin’s pocket and showed him the driver. “Oohh.” Shin said. Unite was completely wrecked. During the counter break rush the rubber had gotten annihilated and the tip was cracking. “Looks like I have some driver forging to do,” Shin said, “Let’s go, guys!”
“Valt Aoi. Funny seeing you here.”
“Philip Grey. What do you want now? I suppose you need some lunch money.”
“As charismatic as usual, I see. Sadly for you, I also want something else.”
“What?”
“I want a battle. After all, I am part of the tenacious ten.”
“Your rank #13974, why should I battle you?”
“You have been keeping track huh? Well if you know my rank so well you probably know that I started blading YESTERDAY.”
“Once you get to the top 5000 then I will battle you.”
“Blank Phantom predicts that will happen in exactly one week. See you then.”
And the mysterious character walked away.
Chapter V
The United Forge!
Toko VS. Arina!
It had been a day since Shin had won the trio battle. He woke up and jumped out of bed. Yesterday, Arina told him that he could use the Murasaki forge today. It was time to create a new driver! Shin raced to the Murasaki mansion. When he got there Arina was standing outside. “Are you ready to make your new driver?” she asked. “Yeah! Let’s go!” They both ran inside the mansion. On the way to the forge room, Arina asked, “How are you going to make it?” “I’m not sure,” Shin responded, “I’m also going to reforge my disk.” “Well we’re here. I would help you, but only you can decide how to make your bey, so I’ll see you later. I’m going to get Toko to train with me.” Arina told Shin. Shin was already in deep concentration trying to figure out what he would make. He started thinking as hard as he could:
I’m going to make the disk first because it is easier to make. I know! I could make it so that it has two more scythes to enforce the layer even more. As for the driver…
“It’s done!” Shin yelled. Arina and Toko ran in. “Show us!” “Here is the disk; Unity.” “It lines up with Spriggan perfectly!” Arina noticed. “It will enforce Spriggan’s attacks,” Shin replied. “That isn’t anything compared to the driver. This is Challenge. It has a POM plastic ball about a square centimeter large. The mode change raises a hollow cylinder similar to Zephyr which is surrounded by rubber. Also, it has a surprise!” “What is it?” Toko asked. “You’ll have to battle me to see,” Shin responded ominously. “Well we would battle with you, but we have a match to get back to. Arina won one match and I won one.” Toko said. “Let’s go!” Arina said. They all ran to the stadium room. “Since this is the final match, I will be the ref.” Shin explained, “The battle will be to three points.”
“3…2...1… GO SHOOT!” All bladers yelled. Arina did the splits and launched her beyblade while Toko took a baseball pitchers stance and landed a fiery launch. “Go Athreal!”
We interrupt this chapter to give a thorough description of Infinite Athreal. Modeled after Tornado Wyvern, it has a free spin ring with 4 large blades and 8 small blades lining the ring. It is part of the Super-Z system. It also spins left. When hit from the bottom of the outer ring, it will fly off and only the base will be left. The base is lined with 50 super small blades to enhance stamina prevention. The disk is 00 Bump. The driver is Atomic Metal (Pretty self explanatory.) While we’re at it, let’s explain Harmonious Trident too. Trident retains a very similar shape to Screw Trident. It is a Dynamite system Beyblade. The layer’s three rounded blades are made of rubber and can retain kinetic energy for extensive amounts of time. The armor piece aligns with the layer and is an invention Toko made himself. It has three electro magnets that can be activated on Toko’s command encased in metal and is called electro. The disk is Tapered and the driver is Low. Thank you for reading this and back to your regularly scheduled program.
Trident took the center and held it. Athreal did a constant barrage of low impact attacks. Athreal finally blew Trident back. “GO! Harmonious Counter!” Toko yelled. Trident used the free spin metal ring to back into the center for a massive attack. The two beys plunged into a battle of rapid attacks. “It’s time to end this! Trident Beam!” Trident grabbed the Infinite armor by magnetizing the metal and threw it away. “Infinite guard!” All of Athreal’s blades glowed bright yellow. The defence was impenetrable and Athreal wasn’t losing stamina. “We aren’t going for the outspin!” yelled Toko. Trident smashed into Athreal and used almost all of it’s stamina. “Well you’re not getting a burst now!” Arina replied. “Yes I will!” Toko yelled as Trident wobbled into Athreal… and got a slow burst! “Wha” and that’s as far as Arina got. She was looking at the TV. “What is it?” Shin asked curiously. Then he looked at the TV.
“I can’t believe it,” Toko said. “You have to battle Ghasem.” “We got two random bladers, and you get to battle Ghasem?!” Arina said, “It’s not fair!” “Yay I have a higher chance of losing now!” Shin said sarcastically. “Welp, let’s get training.”
Deep in the heart of the Snake Pit…
“I’m glad you could be here Ghasem.”
“What do you want me to do?”
“You just need to beat Shin Kurenai.”
“Where at?”
“At the singles cup. Don’t worry, I already signed you up.”
“How do I know Red Eye will be here?”
“Well he’s here now.”
“Hello Ghasem,” greeted Red Eye, “Glad you could make it.”
Chapter VI
The Tenacious Ten!
“Za Warudo” Debut!
“Hey guys, I have a surprise!” Arina appeared outside, “That’s why I asked you guys to come here!” Toko and Shin were waiting outside the Murasaki Mansion. “It’s 5 in the morning…” Toko moaned. That’s when the loud buzz of a helicopter came into view and landed on top of the mansion. “Surprise!” Arina yelled excitedly. “We’re going to challenge one of the Tenacious Ten!” Arina said. “Nice! I can’t believe you got one of the Tenacious Ten to battle us!” Shin said. “Well… they don’t actually know yet.” Arina explained. “Well, I guess we just have to cross our fingers that they will battle us.” Shin replied.
“This is amazing.” Toko sighed. They were on Wakiya’s private helicopter and were flying over to America. “Now I can sleep.” “No, now you can research our first Tenacious Ten challenge. His name is Sansy and his Bey is named… Za Warudo?” Arina responded, “Apparently it can… TELEPORT.” “Arina, stop messing around with us,” Shin said, “We know that’s not possible.” “Here, check the battle feed yourself.” The trio watched as a boy in a blue hoodie yelled something along the lines of “Mudo” over and over again. A yellow-ish beyblade zoomed around constantly hitting it’s opponent. Suddenly it disappeared and reappeared in perfect position to get a ring out finish. Shin and Toko just watched, awestruck. “Why would he be in Gonabad though?” Arina thought out loud, “It’s a super small town in the middle of the middle east with nothing surrounding it.” Shin replied, ”Well, we’re about to find out.”
Their helicopter landed 1 hour later…
Ten days earlier…
“Fine, I'll do it.” A shadowy figure mumbled. “What was that?” A smug voice answered. “I’ll do it.” the other voice responded. “Good…” the smug voice responded, “Now step inside this box and do it.”
Back to the Future…
“Let’s go guys!” yelled Shin already out of the helicopter and running toward the street. “You don’t even know where we are going!” Toko yelled back. “Take a right on State lane,” Arina’s voice came from out of the helicopter. She jumped out and said, “There is a place similar to our bey park where Sansy battles a lot.” They all ran down the street and turned the corner where they found a… Blast Stadium!? It was under a Dome connected to the ground by 6 pillars. “Whoa… they have a Blast Stadium!” Toko said in awe. Under the dome stood a figure clad in blue. “Are you Sansy?” Shin asked. The figure looked towards the trio, but didn’t look at them. “Mrrmrmr.” the figure mumbled. “What?” Arina asked. “Yes.” Sansy replied. “We were wondering if you would battle us?” Arina asked. “How did you know I would be here?” Sansy muttered. Then he said, “Sure.” Sansy took a Super King Beyblade out of his pocket.
Interruption
I will now copy and paste the description that I was given for this character and their bey.
Name - Sansy.
Sansy is a fifteen-year-old high school student. He is a little below average height, being about 125cm tall, a little bit skinny and weighs 49kg. Even though other people think he looks depressed and introverted, he actually cares a lot about his friends and will do anything for them. Sansy has loved Beyblade ever since a young age and has built his own, The World, from scratch. Sansy has won several tournaments thanks to The World, and has not lost a single match. Maybe things would be different if someone was able to figure out The World's ability...
Sansy loves video games and is also kind of a weeb, which explains the inspiration for his Bey. Sansy will usually be wearing a white T-shirt with a blue hoodie and black shorts with pink slippers, but sometimes he dresses as different anime characters. He also likes to crack jokes and make puns at pretty much every given moment. He also uses analogies and is constantly relating situations to anime (such as JoJo). Sansy has short white hair but will dye it different colours and change its style depending on what he's wearing. He also has multi colored eyes, his left eye is black with a blue iris while his right eye is completely black.
Sansy has 2 launcher setups, one for right spin, one for left spin. His right spin launcher setup is a yellow-gold DB launcher with a trans-green gearbox and a yellow-gold grip attached from the side with a silver metal weight add-on, while his left spin launcher setup is a dark blue DB launcher with a trans-purple gearbox and a dark blue grip attached from the bottom with a black metal weight add-on.
Chip - The World
A Dual-Spin Chip resembling The World, DIO's Stand in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It features The World's mask and face in the centre of the Chip, which are made of metal. The mask is yellow-gold and The World's face is silver with its eyes being light green. There is also a green heart on The World's chin. The World's teeth are pretty tight, about the same as Spriggan.
Ring - - 21
A Dual-Spin Ring Similar to World. On its Right Spin side, it has 2 clocks resembling The World's gauntlets parallel from each other on the edge of the Ring, which are made of metal. The clocks are yellow-gold. A bunch of small bumpers resembling The World's vest circle the rest of the Ring's perimeter, which are made of rubber, similar to Judgement Joker. The bumpers are yellow-gold. There are 4 small green hearts on the Layer: one next to each clock and one next to each set of rubber bumpers. There are also 4 stickers between each set of hearts that read "THE WORLD". The Left Spin side is identical, except it's inverted. - 21 also has 2 Burst Stoppers, akin to Dragoon V2.
Disk - 7
A silver 7 Disk.
Frame - Expand
A yellow-gold Expand Frame. There are 4 stickers on the underside of it that read "THE WORLD - 21" .
Driver - Xceed'
Regular Xceed', except the plastic and free-spinning disk are yellow-gold and the rubber is green. There are also 4 stickers on the underside of it that read "LUCKY LAND".
Chassis - 4A
Regular 4A but with trans-green plastic.

Now back to the story.
“Whoa, that thing looks intense.” Toko said.
“This is Za Warudo.” Sansy explained, “And it’s about to crush you.”
Awkward Spaces
Chapter VII
Unbeatable!
Muda! Muda! Muda!
“Which of us will battle you first?” Shin asked. “That one.” Sansy pointed at Arina. “Let’s go then!” Arina said confidently. Sansy stepped up to the stadium, but kept looking down. The two bladers got ready. Sansy pulled out a yellow-ish gold DB launcher with a gold handle. He started walking backward. “3...2...1… GO SHOOT!” Sansy suddenly teleported to the stadium with a full power launch. “No way!” Arina said, “He can actually teleport!” For the first time, they all saw Sansy smirk. Athreal took the center while Za Warudo zoomed around. “Let’s end this,” Sansy said, “Tokio Tomare!” Suddenly, Za Warudo was slamming into Athreal. “But it was just going around the edge! It teleported!” Toko said in awe. “You can’t end the battle already! We’re just getting started!” Arina yelled. Athreal’s armor came off and ricocheted around the stadium. It nailed Za Warudo. “That will teach you to not underestimate me!” Arina crowed victorious. “Za Warudo!” yelled Sansy, “Road Roller Da!” Za Warudo came flying down at an angle and easily burst Athreal. “What?!” Arina asked, “How did you do that?!” “Next.” Sansy replied. “Battle me!” Toko said. Shin took out Spriggan and started talking to it.
This guy is insane! He can teleport and his attacks hit like a wall. The only way to win is to predict where Za Warudo will be. It has immense speed so I won’t be able to do that. What should I do? Shin… You must trust me and use your new parts. I am a balance type, so we can change the game up whenever we are close to losing.
“No.” Sansy responded. “Both of you battle to see which of you will face me. I don’t need to battle two weaklings. I have things to do.” “Let’s go!” Shin said excitedly, “It's time for me to unleash my new parts.” Sansy stepped back into the shadows of a neighboring building and finally glanced at Shin carefully as he got set up. Sansy suddenly froze in the middle of walking backward. “It can’t be…” he murmured to himself, “I saw him…” “What is it?” Toko asked. Sansy replied, “Go on… this could be interesting.”
“3...2...1...GO SHOOT!” both bladers yelled. “Take the center, Spriggan!” Shin yelled. Spriggan zoomed into the center. Trident met it in the middle. “Oh no you don’t!” Toko yelled. Trident smashed Spriggan out of the center. “Yes!” Toko yelled. Spriggan started circling around the center. It didn’t seem to be losing stamina though! “What’s happening?” Toko said, “It should be slowing down!” “The POM plastic makes the stamina retencion very high.” Shin responded, “Now go, Spriggan! Disk break!” Spriggan slammed into Trident moving the disk into alignment. It smashed Trident out of the ring! “Go, Trident Beam!” Toko yelled. The magnets in Trident lit up and pulled Trident back toward Spriggan. “Nice trick,” Sansy said. Trident barely landed in the stadium and started barreling toward Spriggan in the middle. “Dodge the attack, Spriggan!” Shin yelled. Spriggan suddenly shifted it’s weight toward the right side and barely dodged the attack. “No! Trident!” but Trident was already on it’s way out of the stadium. “Well, it looks like Shin won. Get ready to face me,” Sansy said, with a bored look on his face. Something in his eyes didn’t go well with the expression on his face though. It was almost as if he was... excited? “Darn it!” Toko said, “I was so close to winning! I’ll get you next time.” “Let’s get this started already,” Sansy said again without looking up.
For the first time since Shin had met Sansy, he looked him in the eye. He had a normal blue eye and an unsettling black eye. The blue one looked as though Sansy was looking at a ghost and the black one looked like it was staring straight through Shin. He brought out a gold launcher with a transparent green gearbox. Sansy started backing away from the stadium. “3...2...1...GO SHOOT!” Sansy ran up to the stadium and did a 360 twist while launching his beyblade giving it an insane amount of power. Shin launched with an equal amount of power. Both beys zoomed around the stadium. “Za Warudo changed spin direction!?” Shin remarked. “Your beyblade isn’t acting too normal either. I probably should’ve known you'd have a mode change if your were his brother.” Sansy replied. “How did you know Shu was my brother?” Shin asked. “I saw him last week.” Sansy replied simply. “Wait a second…” Shin mumbled. Then he reached down and caught Spriggan. “Where did you see Shu?” Shin asked. “What? Why is that important? You didn’t have to interrupt the battle.” Sansy replied shakily. “Where did you see him?” Shin answered, “Just tell me. I know you saw him.” Shin eyes blazed. “Your brothers not the only one in danger you know…” Sansy mumbled. “Fine, then. If I win this battle, then you have to tell me everything you know.” Shin answered angrily, “I need to know what happened. You’re the only thread I have.” “Fine,” was all Sansy replied. “Then let’s get ready.”
“3...2...1...GO SHOOT!” both bladers yelled. It was an exact repeat of the last battle. Both bladers landed perfect launches and both beys started circling the center except this time Za Warudo was spinning left again. “Go Spriggan!” Shin yelled. Spriggan had a sudden burst of speed and hit Za Warudo directly in the back. One of the massive rubber blades hit Spriggan and it got flung back. “You can’t attack Za Warudo,” Sansy said simply. Spriggan launched a barrage of attacks, but every one got deflected by the rubber blades. “Come on Spriggan! Counter break!” Shin yelled. The rubber on the side of Challenge (His driver) scraped against the ground while it was being blasted back and Spriggan flew forward knocking Za Warudo back. “Hmm?” Sansy pondered, “You have skills?” “I’m not that bad.” Shin responded, “I can blade you know.” “And so can I.” Sansy responded, “Tokio Tomare!” all of a sudden Za Warudo teleported into the air. “Road Roller Da!” Za Warudo slammed into Spriggan while spinning sideways. “Well, it looks like this battle has ended.” Sansy sighed. “I can do magic tricks too, you know.” Shin shot back. Sansy looked back curiously. “Go! Charenji doraibu!” Shin yelled. Sansy raised an eyebrow, “I see you know a bit of Japanese yourself.” Then Spriggan suddenly disappeared into a red streak. Za Warudo was blasted back into the air. “Wha!” Sansy replied, “How did you do that?” “Challenge has a motor that spins the attack ring.” Shin replied. Za Warudo landed in the middle of the stadium. Spriggan started zooming around the stadium so fast that it created a wind barrier. “You wanna go fast?” Sansy asked, “I’m down.” “You think you can beat me now?” Shin asked. “Of course I can.” Sansy replied, “Za Warudo! It’s time for our special move. Muda Muda Muda!!!” Za Warudo suddenly leaned to the left side. The rubber and plastic of the Xceed driver caught on to the stadium and Za Warudo took off like a lightning bolt. It zoomed in, right next to Spriggan. Sparks started flying. “You’re pretty good!” Shin yelled to be heard over the noise of the colliding beys. “Same to you!” Sansy replied. He seemed to be having fun now. The sparks got so intense that the tornado of wind turned into a fiery one. Both bladers were having perfect resonance. Gold and red danced around the stadium, pushing and pulling. The beys were perfectly matched in speed and power. The two beys weren’t slowing down! “Spriggan!” Shin yelled. “Let’s finish this!” Sansy finished. The two streaks headed straight for the middle. In the middle there was a fierce clash. Both Beyblades were spinning in opposite directions so, both were retaining perfect stamina. Both beys got blown back and both of their bladers got hit by the shockwave created and slammed into pillars on opposite sides of the stadium. Both bladers were knocked out cold.
1 day later…
“Eehh” Someone moaned. Shin felt like saying that himself. “Wher... Where am I?” “ They’re both awake!” a voice yelled. “Quiet down.” Shin and a different voice said in unison. “Keep laying down,” a new voice said, “You’ll need all the energy you can summon for your battle against Ghasem in 30 min.” Shin replied, “What?!” and bolted upright...
