Chapter 8: The Blading Successor

Rantaro: “Your evil will come to an end, Yuugo. It’s time someone stopped you.”

*Rantaro launched Rising Ragnaruk, and Yuugo turns all his attention to Rantaro and Ragnaruk. He lets the chains Valt was stuck on loose and Valt was freed. Yuugo launches Yaiger Yggdrasil and the two beys collide. Ragnaruk gets flung back to Rantaro. Rantaro is caught off guard and Yuugo quickly throw the chains Valt was previously stuck on and Rantaro was caught at the waist. Yuugo started to pull Rantaro towards him. Rantaro resisted, trying to keep himself away from him*

Yuugo: “It’s time to end this now.”

*Yuugo launches Yaiger Yggdrasil quickly, too Quick for Rantaro to react. Rantaro is sliced right through at the waist, and is cut in two. Both parts of him fall to the ground, Rantaro still alive but weak*

Valt: “Rantaro!”

*Valt’s anger almost led him out of control, but instead, he channels his anger through Victory Valkyrie. With his Bey Spirit surging through him, Valt releases all of his Bey Spirit at once through Valkyrie as he launches*

Valt: “Valkyrie! Ultra Flash Shoot Overdrive!”

*Victory Valkyrie rushes towards Yuugo. Yuugo launches Yaiger Yggdrasil, and Valkyrie slams it across the room into the ground. Valkyrie then goes after Yuugo, who is mostly defenseless without Yggdrasil. Valkyrie continuously pummels into Yuugo and ricocheting off the walls to gain more energy. Yuugo is continuously pummeled until holes began to form as Valkyrie’s hits become harder. Valkyrie aims for Yuugo’s head, and lands it, going right through Yuugo’s brain. Yuugo disintegrates quickly as he falls to the ground, dead. Valt, along with Ken and Souta, runs over to Rantaro to check his condition. Rantaro was on his back, at least what was left of it, seeing his waist and legs on the other side of the room.

Rantaro: “I’ve already accepted my fate. There is nothing I can do about that now that I am dying. My only help now is to you, Valt. I will give you my Bey Spirit, so you can become stronger than you could ever have imagined.”

*Rantaro lets out all of his Bey Spirit at once, all of it absorbing into Valt*

Rantaro: “With that, my work here is done. Let me die in peace now.”

*Rantari closed his eyes, and the remains of his body went limp. He was dead, and blood was still pouring out from him. Valt and Ken shed a few tears, Souta saddened but not to the point of tears. Ken picked up Rantaro’s yellow and white checkered top hat he always wore, and retired his bowler hat as he put Rantaro’s top hat on*

Ken: “Rantaro. May he live on through our minds and through generations to come.”

Souta: “Where’s his Bey?”

*At that moment, the three realized Rising Ragnaruk had gone missing. The three started searching around the large room quickly, and eventually Valt found Ragnaruk, which was split in two. Valt picked Ragnaruk up and looked at the Bey*

Valt: “Ragnaruk broke during the battle with Yuugo. I think it’s best to burn the remains of Rantaro along with Ragnaruk.”

*Ken and Souta nodded in agreement, and Valt took the top part of Rantaro’s body outside while Ken took the lower half. They set the two parts of Rantaro’s body down close together, almost as if he was one whole body, and Valt place his hand on Rantaro’s chest. Valt concentrated on his Bey Spirit, and the Bey Spirit set the body on fire. Valt quickly placed Rising Ragnaruk’s parts down as he had forgotten to do it before setting the body on fire*

Valt: “To a great friend and instructor. We’ll all miss you.”

*The body and Bey parts only took a few minutes to burn into ashes, but when they did, the wind of the night blew them away*

Ken: “With our memory and Valt as your student, you will never truly die.”

*The three went to bed soon after, and in the morning continued their trek to the castle. They had to pass through the town to get to the castle, and along the way noticed the town got emptier than it had been the previous day*

Ken: “What’s up with the lack of villagers? There were quite a few here yesterday.”

*The three kept walking. Valt noticed a few minutes later a person who looked close to Valt’s age was watching them. The person was following secretively, and Valt kept an eye on him. Eventually, the person showed themselves*

Young Man: “Which one of you is Valt?”

Ken: “Why does it matter to you?”

Young Man: “Because I have been sent by Master Shu to kill Valt. You could call me an assassin of sorts, who goes by Orochi.”

*Orochi was white in color, and wore a white collared long sleeved shirt tucked into blue jeans with a belt on. His hair was brown and was pulled into several large braids that went down the back of his head. He pulled out a guitar from behind him that was being held by a satchel. He started to play a tune and attached his Beyblade to the main body of the behind of the guitar*

Orochi: “I modified my guitar so that it doubles as a launcher for my Bey, Obelisk Odin. The attacks Odin can pull off is unlike anything you can counter.”

*Orochi took his launcher and launched Obelisk Odin. The bey skirted across the dirt road using its rubber driver. Valt got his launcher out quickly and launched Victory Valkyrie. Odin and Valkyrie made contact, and Valkyrie was sent flying towards Valt’s face. Valt caught it before that happened, and launched Valkyrie again. While Valkyrie was a bit faster, Odin had such precise movements that when they came in contact again, Valkyrie was sent flying yet again*

Orochi: “Your Valkyrie can’t beat my Odin. It’s inevitable you’ll lose.”

*Orochi starts strumming hard on his guitar, playing a battle theme of some sort. Obelisk Odin continuously slams into Victory Valkyrie, not holding back at all. Valt decides that it is time to use his special Bey Spirit move*

Valt: “Now Valkyrie! Use your Ultra Flash Overdrive!”

*Victory Valkyrie rushes towards Obelisk Odin on the dirt ground and slams into it, doing little to stop Odin in it’s path*

Orochi: “Odin’s precise rubber tip gives it the edge over your out of control Valkyrie. I have already won.”

*Just then, a Beyblade spinning to the left was launched towards Obelisk Odin. It had two metal dragon heads and had the color scheme of white and transparent. It looked like and moved like an attack type. The Beyblade, full of Bey Spirit, smashed into Odin, sending Odin flying right into the middle of Orochi’s chest as he was caught off guard. Odin went right through and Bey Spirit engulfed his body as he began to melt. Orochi had been zombified by Shu*

Orochi: “I was defeated. So. Easily.”

*Orochi kept melting until he was no more. The melting turned into disintegrating and the ashes were blown away*

Valt: “That was quick. Who does the Beyblade belong to.”

Old man: “Me.”

*An old man stood a few feet behind Valt. The old man was white in color and wore a sleeveless light blue collared shirt. He had a purple tie on as well as dark blue pants. He wore black boots and had a black, hairy scarf on. His hair was black, and had the shape of an aggressive thunder cloud. He walked over to Valt and two other men of a younger age came in behind the old man*

Old man: “I’m Lui, mentor to Rantaro, who I assume is dead now. The two behind me are Zac and Naoki.”

*Both Zac and Naoki were white in color, and Zac had blonde hair going down all the way to his waist. To the left and right were two red streaks of hair on Zac’s head. He wore a black karate style robe with black karate pants and black boots. Naoki had his hair pointing straight up and spiked. He was more or less buff, and wore a sleeveless white karate outfit with white boots*

Valt: “I’ve heard about you, Lui. Nice to met you three.”

*Souta hid behind Ken out of minor shyness. Ken convinced him to meet the three, so both Souta and Ken greeted the three Bey Spirit Bladers*

Valt: “Why did you all come out here though, Lui?”

Lui: “After hearing about killings from a zombified beast, I knew it was then time to take down the beast that we knew was coming for many, many years.”

Valt: “I’m assuming you’ll join us on our journey then.”

Zac: “Anything to avenge our friend Rantaro.”

Naoki: “Our wait has finally come to an end. Let’s take down the zombified beast and put an end to the relic’s madness.”

*The now group of six started walking towards the castle, knowing Shu would be waiting around the top*

‘In Shu’s castle at the top’

Young man: “Let me out of here!”

*The young man, whose black hair was tall and spiked, banged on the iron door hard. He wore a red headband as well with a few beads attached to it, and he was white in color. He was around Valt’s age, and had explored the castle to try and figure out what had been going on with the killings in the town. He had been captured by Wakiya and was now stuck in the dungeon part of the castle*

Shu: “You just don’t quit, do you, Daina?”

Daina: “So are you the one who has been behind the murders of people in this town?”

Shu: “You could say that. Honestly Wakiya should have disposed of you the moment he saw you, but I guess instead I can just propose an idea to you instead. Become an immortal beast like me, and you can serve alongside me  like Wakiya does.”

Daina: “Like I would ever join you!”

*Dania slides his hand between the bars in the door window and punches Shu in the face. It was quite a fast punch so Shu was caught off guard. Shu twitched and put his hand on the cheek that had been punched*

Shu: “A foolish action and decision. I will allow Ukyo to kill you then.”

Daina: “U-Ukyo?”

*Shu had already left, and on the other side of the dungeon room, and large door opened up. On the other side of that door was a large zombified beast, which almost didn’t resemble a human. The beast was Ukyo. Ukyo was more of a tannish white and wore a mask. He was quite tall as well. He had only one eye, the other one where an eye would be was replaced with an eye patch of sorts. He wore only brown, baggy pants. Ukyo was armed with a Bey. Daina cowered in fear on the other side of the dungeon room*

Chapter 9: Ultimate Battle! Valt & Shu

Chapter 9: Ultimate Battle! Valt & Shu

*The group had been walking for half an hour before they finally arrived at Shu’s castle. They were prepared for whatever zombified beasts they were to encounter, and entered the castle. A long corridor awaited them*

Ken: “Where’s Shu even gonna be?”

Valt: “I presume on the top floor. We’ll have to fight off anything that comes after us until then.”

*They get to the end of the corridor, and start walking up the spiral stairs. The group notices dungeon rooms, so the begin to look through them. Monstrous sounds are heard halfway up the castle*

Souta: “What could that sound be?”

Lui: “Zombified beasts. This castle should be crawling with them to protect Shu.”

*The sounds got louder and louder, until they got right next to one dungeon room where the sound was right next to them*

Valt: “The sound is coming from this dungeon room! Look! There’s someone in the room as well.”

Lui: “That’s a giant zombified beast.”

*The young man, who was Daina, was in the corner, barely dodging Ukyo’s attempts to eat him*

Ken: “We gotta get in and save him!”

*Valt tried to budge the door open, but was unable to*

Valt: “I can’t get it open. We’re gonna have to take the door down!”

*The group readied their beys. They all launched at once, and used their special Bey Spirit moves on the door. The door shook quickly with force, and was shaken with so much force that the door broke down. The group entered the dungeon room to save Daina*

Daina: “Who the heck are you guys?”

Zac: “We’re Bey Spirit users, and we’re here to save you.”

*With that, Zac launches Zillion Zeus, and sliced Ukyo’s left arm clean off. Naoki saw the chance to strike, and launched Nova Neptune to finish Ukyo off*

Ukyo: “I won’t let you finish me off that easily!”

*Ukyo single handedly launched Unlock Unicorn, deflecting Nova Neptune. Lui came in and launched Lost Longinus straight into the gaping hole where Ukyo’s arm used to be. Ukyo was unable to launch Unicorn on time and was quickly destroyed from the inside out in the form of an explosion of body parts. Unicorn was also quickly destroyed as well as it disintegrated from the explosion*

Valt: “Are you ok?”

Daina: “Yes. Who are you people anyways really?”

Lui: “We’re people who have come to destroy the being known as Shu using our Bey Spirit powers. What’s your name, kid?”

Daina: “The name’s Daina, and it appears my younger brother has found his way into your group. You got my Bey, Souta?”

*Souta stepped out from behind the entrance of the dungeon room and walked down the stairs down to Daina*

Souta: “It’s right here.”

*Souta rustles through his pocket and grabs Deathscyther, then gives it to Daina*

Daina: “Thanks for taking good care of Deathscyther while I was gone.”

Souta: “No problem, Daina.”

Lui: “I suppose you should be heading home now. You wouldn’t want to get yourself involved in this mess of things anymore.”

Daina: “You lot of warriors makes me want to fight for this cause to protect my town even more. The only thing I don’t want is Souta involved in this anymore.”

Souta: “If you want to fight with these warriors, then I’d love to stay with you Daina.”

*Daina lets out a sigh*

Daina: “No point in trying to convince you. I guess we shall go up to the tower and fight Shu then.”

Lui: “Fight him we shall. To the top floor we go!”

Group: “Yeah!”

*The group heads up the stairs leading to the top floor of the castle. They were shocked by how easy it was to get up to the top floor of the tower. When they arrived, two large doors awaited them*

Naoki: “Leave it to me, Lui.”

Lui: “Go ahead.”

*Naoki launches Nova Neptune into the large doors, smashing through the large doors easily an creating a large hole in the doors. The group enters and on the other side is a large throne room. On the other side of the room sits Shu, sitting on the throne. Surrounding him is a multitude of zombified beasts, many of them well built and large. Shu sits there, as if he had expected the group to come*

Shu: “Looks like you finally got here, Valt. This group of people can’t save you now.”

Valt: “Your reign of terror ends here, Shu! I won’t let you continue any longer!”

*Shu lets out a loud, evil laugh*

Shu: “Then come at me, Valt.”

*Valt runs towards Shu, launching Victory Valkyrie. Valkyrie spins at high speeds and Shu launches Storm Spriggan. The two beys clash, and Valkyrie was sent flying into a wall*

Shu: “You have no idea who you’re messing with. Since last time, I have only gotten stronger, Valt, and I will stroke you down!”

*Valt, unarmed, had no way to defend himself against the upcoming Storm Spriggan. Nova Neptune was launched and deflected Storm Spriggan*

Naoki: “With four Bey Spirit users, victory belongs to us!”

*Valt managed to grab Victory Valkyrie, and the four Bey Spririt users launched their beys. Storm Spriggan was launched again and deflected all four beys*

Lui: “He is more powerful than we thought. We’ll have to use special techniques against him!”

Shu: “I’m afraid your fight with me ends here. Beasts, awaken!”

*The zombified beasts came out from the darkness, and started leaping towards the group of four. Lui launched Lost Longinus, and one by one, took out the zombified beasts, until none were left*

Lui: “Now, Longinus! Lost Spiral Overdrive!”

*Lost Longinus sped towards Shu quickly, getting faster as it got closer to Shu. Shu launched Storm Spriggan and deflected Longinus into the ground, where it got stuck in the ground*

Shu: “Defenseless now? No matter, I’ll kill you right here and now!”

*Storm Spriggan rushed towards Lui at a quick speed, until Naoki steps in the way*

Lui: “Don’t do it, Naoki!”

*Naoki launches Nova Neptune, but was quickly deflected into a wall by Storm Spriggan. Storm Spriggan went right through Naoki’s neck, and Naoki’s body went flying into a wall, his head not going as far*

Lui: “Naoki!”

*Naoki was still alive, his head still alive somehow. He looked over at Lui*

Naoki: “Lui, throw me me Bey, now!”

*Lui threw Nova Neptune at Naomi’s head. Naoki caught it with his teeth. Shu was dealing with Zac and Valt*

Shu: “Looks like I actually killed one of you. I’ll deal with all three of you at once!”

*Naoki saw that as a cue, and threw Nova Neptune at Shu with his mouth. It ended up catching Shu off guard and the bey had been thrown hard, so hard that it lodged itself into Shu’s left eye*

Shu: “You idiot! My eye!”

*Shu stumbled backwards, almost falling off the balcony right behind his throne. Shu caught himself with his head, and tore the Beyblade out of his eye. Naoki died right then, and Shu destroyed Nova Neptune with one hit using Storm Spriggan*

Lui (Sreaming): “Naokiiiiiiiiii!”

*Lui kneeled and raised his hands, letting out tears of sadness while he was screaming*

Lui: “You’ll pay for this!”

*Lui launched Lost Longinus, channeling his anger into his launch. He kept a steady hand as usual, but let out a much stronger launch. Shu launched Storm Spriggan, but was deflected by Longinus*

Shu: “What!?”

*Shu attempted to dodge Lost Longinus, but wasn’t successful as Longinus went right through Shu’s right arm. Longinus ricocheted right back to Lui, and Lui caught Longinus*

Shu: “You forget I have regeneration abilities!”

*Within seconds, Shu’s arm was fully healed. His eye was taking longer to heal, but was still healing quickly. Shu launched Storm Spriggan and smashed Lui into a wall so quickly that it caught Lui off guard. Zac launched Zillion Zeus, but Spriggan smashed it into a wall, sending it going through a wall into an entire floor down in the castle*

Zac: “Zeus!”

*Zac quickly ran down the spiral stairs to retrieve Zillion Zeus. Shu let out an evil cackle. Lui was still laying by the wall, being knocked out by the impact of Storm Spriggan*

Shu: “It was about time I got serious about this. All that is left is you, Valt.”

Valt: “Bring it on! I’m not afraid to show my full power!”

Shu: “Then I won’t be either.”

*Valt ran to Shu and launched right in front of him. Victory Valkyrie froze upon contact of Shu*

Valt: “What!?”

Shu: “I’m able to control my body temperature much better than before. Who knew a couple days is all that’s needed?”

*Shu launched Storm Spriggan right into Valt’s arm, to which it got lodged in*

Valt: “Auuuugh!”

*Valt pulled Storm Spriggan out of his arm and threw it onto the ground. Spriggan was durable and bounced right back into Shu’s hands*

Valt: “I’m done playing around!”

*Valt took several steps backward. Shu watched and wondered what he was doing*

Shu: “Go ahead and put on your little show, Valt.”

*Valt ignored Shu, and did three high jumps, and on the third one, launched Victory Valkyrie. Shu simply launched Storm Spriggan and deflected Valkyrie*

Shu: “It doesn’t matter where you launch your Bey, Valt, I can just continue to deflect it!”

*Just then, a Bey went right through Shu’s right leg, chopping it clean off and sending it flying. The Bey was Xeno Xcalibur. The Bey broke into three pieces and fell down the castle onto the ground below*

Shu: “Who needs a leg? I’ll launch with my teeth if I have to!”

*Shu launched Storm Spriggan onto the ground, this time slanted, so that Spriggan’s rubber would touch the ground. The Bey moved incredibly fast, banking every several feet. Valt launched Victory Valkyrie, but was deflected back faster than before*

Shu: “My power is too great! How could you ever counter this?”

Valt: “With this!”

*Valt jumped onto Storm Spriggan and used it to boost off of, stabbing Victory Valkyrie into Shu’s neck. Valkyrie immediately froze, as well as Valt’s left hand and arm*

Shu: “I’ve won!”

*Shu punched Valt right in the face, sending him right into the ground. Valt was still holding Victory Valkyrie in his left hand. He tore it from his frozen hand, and used Bey Spirit to warm up Valkyrie and melt the ice off. He didn’t have enough to thaw his arm and hand, however. Valt readied his launcher towards the ground, sticking his launcher in his frozen left hand*

Shu: “Looks like you’re getting desperate, Valt!”

*Valt launched Victory Valkyrie hard. Valkyrie hit the ground a ricocheted towards Shu*

Valt (Yelling): “Valkyrie! Ricochet Wing Launch Overdrive!”

*Shu launched Storm Spriggan, expecting to deflect Victory Valkyrie. Instead, Storm Spriggan was deflected and Valkyrie went right through Shu’s neck, loping his head right off and having it land on the railing of the balcony*

Shu: “D-d-defeated by a mortal...Impossible!”

Valt: “Your time to die has come, Shu!”

*Valt kicked Shu’s head off the balcony, at the bottom was Wakiya, who retrieved Shu’s head once it fell into the river nearby. Valt landed on his knees, and Ken and Souta had watched the whole thing happen before their eyes. Zac then came through the entrance of the top of the castle and saw Shu’s body on the ground of the top floor. Valt was on his knees, and let out silent tears. Valt had finally defeated Shu*

She also make that wryyy sound that dio does she also a half vampire.

Your character would have to have the name Akira Kurenai because Dio Brando never existed in this fan fiction as Shu Kurenai took that role on because this is a crossover fan fic.
