i cant seem to get a flat sharp based beyblade to 'shift into attack mode' as it were. it just sits in the center, serious bummer
any tips for this?

What stadium are you using?

Generally a sliding shoot works well with FS to get it to shift modes.

The type of combo also matters. You'll see a lot less movement from something using a Libra wheel and a metal face.

so what's a good combo to use with FS then ?

Amongst top tier combo's? None at the moment. FS is a neat little bottom but it's not effective, it's rather bad at stamina wit h SD, D, and B out there and is mediocre at attacking at best.

Virgo WD145FS isn't too bad though I guess.

im using the attack stadium, i'll try slide shooting but i think i already tried it. i'll try again..

If it's new then don't be too surprised. New one's don't move around as much.
