Energy Layer - Cho-Z Achilles

Quote:==Description==
Cho-Z Achilles is a Balance Type Energy Layer that features two large blades, creating a high recoil.. As part of the Cho-Z Layer System, Z Achilles features metal in its design; in this case, concentrated on the blades.

The inclusion of metal improves Attack Potential by increasing the weight of the Layer, granting higher inertia that increases both KO and Burst Attack as well as increasing the Layer's Burst resistance as the high inertia resists teeth skipping, a property that compliments the tall teeth of the Takara Tomy release of Cho-Z Achilles. The Layer's Attack potential is further improved as the metal is placed near the point of impact. Due to these factors and the shape of the blades, Cho-Z Achilles performs well in Attack Combinations.

Like many other Cho-Z/Cho-Z Awaken Layers, Cho-Z Achilles is unbalanced which increases Burst risk, is liable to break Banking Patterns and drains Stamina.

However, the two blades situated on top and below the Layer are liable to denting and even chipping due to how far they protrude. While not enough to completely break Cho-Z Achilles, if one is fearful of possible performance changes or simply dislikes the damaged appearance, they may want to own multiple copies of this Layer.

==Overall==
Cho-Z Achilles is good layer of attack combos.

Little bit updated.
Assuming you only just did the draft just to put a miniature plan, I do have a group of ideas you can include and edit for yourself:

Assuming Tomy can create multiple variations of Cho-Z Achilles, saying such things like Blue is an upset, not really but you know.
Cho-Z Achilles is a Galance Type Energy layer with a frontal facing shield directly on the face of the layer with Achilles’ head above it.
It exists with two half-metal blades on the left and right side of the beyblade and two shield shaped parts on the top and bottom, each capable of Cho-Z Awakening along with its Cho-Z Wings.
In Cho-Z Awakening Mode, two blades extend out of the half-metal swords in a jagged shape, supposedly granting more burst attack, while accidentally becoming too circular and be forced to go defensive. In addition, as long as the Cho-Z Wings are active, two additional shield-shaped Cho-Z Awakening type shields which had already been exposed before are now exposed further, being freely moveable and able to be pressed in slightly to give bonus defensive power, but the traversal distance is so minuscule, you get the picture.
As opposed to Cho-Z Valkyrie’s Maximum sized Burst Stopper Triangle, Cho-Z Achilles has two Average sized Burst Stopper Triangles to make it harder to burst to a massive extent, only to be bursted by ultra heavy hits.
Because of Cho-Z Achilles’ just-as-round perimeter, Achilles’ ability to attack heavily with two of its attack blades when Awakened are made more minuscule and therefore, Cho-Z Achilles should be recommended for defensive combinations.

Regardless, due to the effectiveness of the Cho-Z Awakening system and how it is integrated to Cho-Z Achilles, such an energy layer is a must have for competitive blazers.

True story: I wore a blazer for a photoshoot at school yesterday.

Agreed. It’s easily out classed by Cho-Z Valkyrie. The burst stoppers may make it a decent defense type though.

Still heavily outclassed by Archer Hercules, Hell Salamander, Revive/Dead Phoenix and Cho-Z Spriggan.
From my impressions, Cho-Z Achilles outclasses Cho-Z Valkyrie for Attack by a wide margin. Seriously, it has so much recoil it hurts to grab. Furthermore, Cho-Z Valkyrie is hampered by the fact that the Cho-Z Wings cover up its best points of recoil (Same with Cho-Z Spriggan), Cho-Z Achilles' Cho-Z Wings on the other hand are tiny and heavily recessed so that doesn't happen

Pretty much every time I put it up against Archer Hercules Outer Eternal, it Bursts Archer Hercules. And that's with Cho-Z Achilles on Zephyr, not something like Xtreme
Okay, I update this later, when I have access computer

Seems good to me
Currently busy but I'll comb over your drafts sometime. They seem good
I just got my Cho Z Achilles i did some test battles with it on 00.X' and it was able to consistently win against hS.0.At through knock outs and one burst hS won through a few survivor finish's.
choA.00.X'
15 Ko's and one burst
hS.0.At
4 Survivor finishes.

Cho-Z Achilles is a Balance Type Energy Layer, the center features a shield and an armored face facing forward, unlike its predecessor where the face was seen from a side profile, meant to represent the Layer's namesake; the Greek hero, Achilles. The perimeter is made up of four large blades as the primary points of contact, two of which are molded in the shape of swords, granting the Layer high Knock-Out and Burst Attack potential. As part of the Cho-Z Layer System, Cho-Z Achilles features metal in its design; in this case, concentrated on the sword blades. Cho-Z Achilles also features a gimmick; the Layer features an anti-Bursting mechanism called the "Cho-Z Awakening System".

At high spin velocity, the centrifugal force activates a bistable mechanism, revealing sub wings called the "Cho-Z Wings" and in turn extending Burst-stopping tabs in the grooves meant to fit the prongs of the Disc. The burst-stoppers then obstruct the Disc, preventing the loss of the last click and preventing the Cho-Z Achilles combination from Bursting. Due to the bistable mechanism the wings and tabs do not retract when spin speeds are low and must be manually pushed in after every match, the mechanism also allows the gimmick to work as intended.

Only two of Cho-Z Achilles' "Cho-Z Wings" will move the tabs with the other two being purely aesthetic. However, due to the bistable mechanism, Cho-Z Achilles requires rather extreme spin speeds for the gimmick to activate which may be difficult for younger bladers.

The Layer's size and the inclusion of metal makes Cho-Z Achilles heavier than most SwitchStrike/God Layers, improving Attack Potential by increasing the weight of the Layer, granting higher inertia that increases both KO and Burst Attack and increasing the Layer's Burst resistance as the high inertia resists teeth skipping, a property that compliments the tall teeth of the Takara Tomy release of Cho-Z Achilles. Due to these factors and the shape of the blades, Cho-Z Achilles performs well in Attack Combinations. Furthermore, due to the small size of the "Cho-Z Wings" and how recessed they are normally, Cho-Z Achilles shows identical Attack potential whether or not the gimmick is activated, unlike Cho-Z Valkyrie.

However, Cho-Z Achilles' points of contact will wear down fairly quickly with use, drastically reducing the Layer's Attack potential. Due to this, it is recommended to have multiple copies of this Layer and to be prepared to replace it.

Unlike previous Cho-Z Layers and like other Layers with the "Cho-Z" prefix, Cho-Z Achilles is incompatible with a Level Chip.

==Using in Attack Combinations==
Cho-Z Achilles can be used in the Attack Combination Cho-Z Achilles 0/00/10/8/7 Bump/Turn/Meteor Xtreme/Hunter/Jolt/Zephyr/Accel/Destroy/Iron. The heavy weight of 0/00/10/8/7 Bump/Turn/Meteor and high speed of Xtreme/Hunter/Jolt bolsters Cho-Z Achilles' Attack potential while the Layer's weight, strong teeth and gimmick compensates for the Burst risk. If one struggles to control rubber tips at the spin speeds needed to activate Cho-Z Achilles' gimmick, then Zephyr/Accel/Destroy/Iron can be used instead with the combination's high spin speeds compensating for the slower movement.

==Overall==
Cho-Z Achilles' heavy weight, strong teeth and working gimmick make the Layer of of the best choices for Right-Spin Attack at the time of writing. Furthermore, due to the small size of the "Cho-Z Wings", Cho-Z Achilles is much easier to use and thus more consistent than Cho-Z Valkyrie.

As such, Cho-Z Achilles is a must have for competitive bladers. However, due to wear on the points of contact, it is recommended to have multiple copes of this Layer to replace ones that have worn down.
