I don't see why not.
Mine is too, and it works fine.
Though if you have a spring (Ball-pen type) you could, while assembling the bey, put it between where the Face & Track meet, put it in the middle. I think it goes something like that.

Ok well mine hasnt had any problems yet, so i will test this asap.

Higher? I usually keep it at 120 but try both.
