Do you think the meta is good?

This has been on my mind ever since elevate was being put on dragoon and im just saying; do you think the meta is original, fair, and fun for tournaments?

MY REASON WHY:
i host a beyblade club and the majority are kids with no access to the TT stuff, just hasbro. only the few adults have the meta bey combos and a minority runs it. so in my eyes i feel like its not fair for kids or even adults trying to have fun at tournaments when its the same combo of wiz rod, soar phoenix, and dragoon. in my opinion it ruins a core aspect of beyblade itself and that is experimenting with combos you made. the meta sucks all originality from play and no interesting matchups are at play.

HOW TO FIX:
i think its simple enough to run an UPDATED limited parts list that the community can agree on instead of outright banning parts, if you have suggestions on parts then reply. but im not saying that ALL tournaments should use limited parts list but having it be an option for them to use if they want more variety in play.

either way this is my opinion but i want to have this be in the minds of organizers and bladers alike. if you have differing opinions i would like to hear them
There are many Organizers that already do this, and just host their tournaments unranked. Except instead of seeing WizardRod and PhoenixWing on their winning combos, it's UnicornSting and DranSword. There will always be a 'meta' in any 'limited parts' format.

Beyblade has always been like this at the highest competitive level, and limited parts lists don't ever change it. All it changes is what the meta parts are. There's always going to be weaker parts, and powercreep that makes previous releases no longer viable.

When the combos are the same, the skill expression comes from launch techniques and counterpicking, not Beyblade combo assembly.

ah i see. im still new to the WBO side of beyblade and i thought this was an interesting thought. and i had a feeling about the part where you said  "All it changes is what the meta parts are", and like i fully agree.

ultimately this was just a think piece since i post fun combo ideas on youtube that arent really meta viable. overall thanks for the info KIO
Personally, I'd love to see a system where certain combinations of parts are banned rather than singular parts(a la F230+CF in Zero G, as those parts are only a problem when used together but not so much on their own).
I think that a least the meta isn’t burst.
Also, I like the idea of a format with just X-Overs and Echos to make people be creative. I may be biased by the fact that my favorite x beys are steel samurai and Dranzer spiral
I have no tournament experience because I’m not 16 and can’t drive yet, and the nearest locals is an hour away on the freeway. But you have three crazy good attack types, crazy good stamina type and crazy good spinsteal balance type, as well as an EXTREMELY slept on defense type (Ghost9-60BS), a counter to the most dominant combo (Samurai Level) that is competent against some other things, and since we have at least 7 great choices for this meta, I would say it is healthy.

Wizard rod can beat everything except dragoon
Dragoon can beat rod and attackers
Attackers can beat rod and dragoon
Samurai beats dragoon and may beat rod
Ghost circle beats attackers
Meta is great, lots of counter to Rod ball, Dragoon E is relatively alright to deal with an attack type, lots of heavy attack types get counter by wolf hexa
In my opinion, meta is just a cheap way for bladers to find easy wins without putting in the work.

But meta is never a guarantee and it prevents others from experimenting with other combinations that most never even thought about trying.

Every blader should experiment and find out for them which beyblade feels right for them and put in the work on training on how to launch their beys.

A successful win factor in two things, how a beyblade is launch and luck.
Idk I never really was as concerned with meta alone as meta + my own combo I think could be meta.
