So Royal Decree+Imperial Iron Wall? Sounds nice, plus I have 3 copies of both.
Discuss your yu-gi-oh decks here.
Royal Decree negates Imperial Iron Wall, fyi.
Does it? Then it's not going in. Oh well, it doesn't really matter if it's a One Turn KO deck, does it? I'll just stick with Dark Bribe to protect it, and other cards to get Quillbolt out of my hand. Mass Driver is like an extra 3 Cannon Soldiers, so I'll add 3. Then, some Tuners, 3 Double Summons, and some search cards.
actually megablader i meant imperial custom but w/e
? I have no idea what you mean...But I do like using Mass Driver, Catapult Turtle, AND Cannon Soldier! Gotta be at least decent.
the card i was talking about was called imperial customs, not royal decree
Ah. I may look into that. I figure I need it.
So I've been play testing and experimenting with my new Blackwing build and side deck. A lot of the changes I've made were in anticipation of the release of Legendary Six Samurai early next month. My main deck is really solid and I'm happy with it just the way that it is, but I'm having trouble getting a side deck that I'm comfortable with.
Here's what I've got so far:
Monsters: (18)
1 Dark Armed Dragon
2 Sirocco
3 Shura
3 Bora
3 Kalut
2 Blizzard
1 Gale
1 Vayu
1 Spirit Reaper
1 Morphing Jar
Magic: (9)
3 Book of Moon
2 MST
1 Black Whirlwind
1 Dark Hole
1 Monster Reborn
1 Allure of Darkness
Traps: (13)
3 Icarus Attack
2 Solemn Warning
2 Dimensional Prison
1 Royal Oppression
1 Solemn Judgment
1 Trap Dustshoot
1 Mirror Force
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Seven Tools of the Bandit
Side Deck: (15)
1 Gorz
2 Thunder King Rai-Oh (Though after LSS release I'm more than likely going to be main decking these and siding a 3rd)
2 Cyber Dragon
2 Nobleman of Crossout
2 Chain Disappearance
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
2 Skill Drain
2 Compulsory Evacuation Device
Any advice on the side deck? I don't really know how I feel about Compulsory, but I couldn't think of anything better to put in. I considered Banisher of the Radiance, but I dunno... I like the card but I'm not too sure how useful it would be.

Hi there I'm ryokoie. I have a X-saber deck I've made, and i fell in love with X-sabers when I saw Anu, and Airbellum. I have 3 things I would like to accomplish, Figure out this deck's value realistically. To find out how I can make it a little better I am now a pure casual player with 90% of my money going to family, 10% to beyblade. As well as get other's views comments and such on this deck. I don't have any problems at locals, and the prehaps most threatening deck there is a poorly built morphtronic deck that the owner refuses to pay attention. We normally play for fun be we do have those that are...aggressive. Since I didn't see a rule about pictures, I decided to post pictures up instead. Also to King, since you are running light monsters try taking out stuff that doesn't seem to click or seems too dependant like Photon Generator and Laser dragon for 2 Honest.

So this is my current Watt deck that I'm working on (yes I know it needs some MAJOR improvements), tell me what you think.

So..... I'm kinda going against what I said seven pages ago (Post #1248) when I said I wouldn't use an Egyptian God Card in my Deck... here's the build:
From the current build, I -1 Sirocco, -1 D. Prison, -1 D. Bribe, then +1 Obelisk, +1 Royal Oppression, and +1 Solemn Judgment. The Monster build is nearly identical to Roan's, except for my Obelisk, and his Morphing Jar.
I've tested this against a few variants of Machina Decks, and it plays just like it did before: pretty darn amazing; I don't miss that third Sirocco, and having Obelisk in the Deck allowed for another way to impede the opponent. The best thing is that I didn't have to make too many changes to my Trap list, like I did when I was using Ra. I pretty much improved the Traps in a sense by dropping D. Prison and D. Bribe like Roan did, and adding Oppression and Judgment.
What's good about it now is that this Deck plays like a Control Variant of a Blackwing Deck, with one more added bonus to finish your opponent off. I have yet to try this out against other Decks, but I'm waiting on two S. Warnings to finish this Deck off.

Hmm... How do you plan to get Obelisk out?
It's not very often that Blackwings have more than one monster on the field, let alone THREE to tribute summon for Obelisk.

I'd have to say that actually getting Obelisk out will be a rather situational task. I was thinking that the smoothest way to get it out is by having Sirocco, then SSing Bora then Gale, the sac the three for Obelisk.
But as I've described above, Obelisk is one of the quite a few ways I can defeat the opponent. It can play like a control Deck like it was built for, and Obelisk is just a small touch to the Deck.
Really happy you added Black Rose Dragon, Momo, it's really easy to get out in Blackwing decks, well I find it to anyway.
I'm going to be perfectly honest, I think putting Obelisk in is a really bad idea.
It's going to be a dead draw literally 99% of the time. It has no synergy with the rest of the deck either. Why would you sacrifice three of your BEST BW monsters and in the process turn off your Icarus Attack/Kalut plays, just to drop an Obelisk that'll likely get removed?

Because it's Obelisk. That's a good enough reason for me.

If you could make a swarm-ish deck, that would take your opponents by surprise, too. Double whammy! Once again, that is just what I think.
The number of Monsters that have "Blackwing" in their names in my Deck is 15, which is the same as yours, Roan. The only difference between our Monster list is my Obelisk and your Morphing Jar, which I have Sided.
In all honesty, I put in Obelisk as a finisher; I know it doesn't guarantee me the game, nor does it have synergy with the rest of the Deck. I still play the Deck as if Obelisk wasn't there, but if my opponent's field is completely clear (even with Spells or Traps), if my opponent has 4000 LP or less and if I have the Monsters to sac with, then I can go for the kill with Obelisk. Highly situational, and the chance of that happening is low, but Obelisk is only one card.
Even if I won't run into in a Duel, my Deck overall seems decent
I haven't encountered any problems with this Deck yet, but that's only because my testing is quite limited. I'll test this build at my locals and post how I did later on.
That's my opinion on this, but Roan has very convincing points as well.

You have no idea how close I came to warning you for this.
Also, Momo, it's your deck and I suppose you can try out whatever you like, but I can almost guarantee that after you take this deck to locals you'll see just how completely dead and worthless Obelisk is going to be and drop it.
I have the same feeling, too, but I just want to try it out before I slip in Morphing Jar, Blizzard, or Sirocco again.
And I have to thank you for the Trap list; Oppression and Judgment are so good. There are some people who don't use Oppression in their BW Decks, and I was also wondering if you knew their reasoning as to why they wouldn't Main it?
