Perhaps a general Yu-Gi-Oh thread is needed?

I actually suggested this a while back, but it got shot down.

And yeah bro, that's quite a bit of protection. I mean if you wanted to you could try and fit a couple of Solemn Warning in there. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt the deck at all, but the trouble is finding room for them.

As it stands now you've got 7 defensive cards, and you're running 2-3 Pot of Duality which will help you see them more frequently, so it's probably fine.

Word of V has just given me the go ahead. Whoo.

Please move all non-deck related discussion here.

Its a dark deck.
I understand that it is a Dark deck, but I don't really understand much else. Is it a Blackwing deck? Is it Infernity? Is it focused on Ritual Summoning? Are you trying to make it Fiend-type, too? Why are you running 51 cards? I can't really tell. It seems like a mishmash of cards from different Dark deck ideas. I've highlighted some of the things that I think you should take out. Relinqueshed is a good card, but doesn't seem to have much use in this deck. You should definitely add Dark Hole, Monster Reborn, and another Mystical Space Typhoon. Ask Roan and Daegor42 for more help.
I can't thank you enough, Roan. I will be heading out to my local card shop to attempt to obtain some of these cards tonight before locals tomorrow.

Thank you Daegor42 as well~! =)
Awesome. Smile

The best part is that almost all of the cards I listed to side deck are common and aren't very costly. I think of all the ones I listed, DD Crow, Thunder King and Starlight Road will be the most expensive, but even those only run $5-$10 a piece, depending on where you get them.

Good luck tomorrow! Make sure to let us know how you did.

Add 1 more MSt, and add 2 Goggle Golems. If you have it, add 2 Symbols of Duty.

Just saying, 54 cards actually IS way too big.
And, I gave you my answer on page 50.
Ah. Just saw it. Thanks! Need to get one more Fortress, then I'm set then!
alrighty, so here's my deck,

40 cards total
20 monsters
9 Trap Cards
11 magic cards

Monsters(20)

Trap Cards(9)

Magic Cards(11)

So, i need help with my deck. they're all the old yu gi oh cards. If it sucks...then just lay it on me.
Should I stick to one type of monsters? What cards should I take out? If i want to buy decks, which ones should I Buy? I saw those structure decks, are they good? I prefer to stick to the old cards.

Thanks! Smile

It sucks.

You need to pick a game winning concept and stick to it. Make sure all your cards help achieve that win condition. Consistancy is also important. Run 2-3 of your best cards (provided they're not limited).

If you want to get structure decks for a good build right out of the box, I suggest Machina Mayhem.
Yes! Ah. I read up about some one turn wins with Machinas. Maybe Commander Covington isn't as necessary as I thought. Could I get away with only 1? I'm probably only going to use Force as a last resort, anyway.

I would use zero.
*Sigh* I only scored one out of four wins at my local today with my Deck. All I can say is, Ra sucks. But the funny thing is that I used it to win my only duel.

I've added one Stele from an ABPF Pack, two Royal Tributes, and two Rite of Spirits (I wanted three, but my card seller didn't have any more). I'll check on Monday.

I'm going to wait for my Judgment of Anubis cards to come, then I'll order Obelisk next. I really, really hope they don't fudge up Slifer.
my deck is a simple but awesome gladiator beast deck its awesome
This is one of my decks in the Yu-Gi-Oh game I have, do you think it's good and can you tell me any improvements, remember the game was made in 2007 so no new cards are gonna be in it.

Normal Monsters (8)

Effect Monsters (16)

Spell (16)

Trap (12)

Fusion (11)
50 cards

This deck is an improvement to the old one and it's really good, i've won
23 out of 23 battles against some pretty good people,
the main strategy is to use Future Fusion then send 5 dragons to the graveyard for F.G.D
most of the time I send all 3 Blue Eyes White Dragon, Red Eyes Black Dragon and Meteor Black dragon and when I get Dragon's Mirror I use it to summon
Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon which is only 500 attack points weaker than F.G.D and I can still use Premature Burial or Call of the Haunted to summon Red Eyes Black Dragon and if for some reason I can't summon Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon I can instead summon Meteor Black Dragon.
But there are still some other strategies.
dont you think that you have to many high powered monsters you should have fewer high powered monsters and more weaker monsters which have special effects and to many high powered monsters could just end up as a dead draw you should blance your deck just my opinion
scractch that sorry but i didnt see the effect monsters
Lol,mare one round Exodia decks illegal?
I need side deck ideas for deep draw dragons so far I have

Prime Material Dragon
Nobleman of Crossout x2
System Down x2
Mind Crush
Dust Tornado x2
Compulsary Evacuation Device x2

other than these i'm stuck for ideas Confused
Umm... yeah... so... I got distracted while making my Codarus Zero deck. I ended up making a Bahamut Zero variant.

Deck List (Click to View)
Extra Deck ('cause it's kinda important to this deck) (Click to View)
Draco-Equiste is a hold over from when I was using Super Polymerization. I can still make it, but... eh. Not sure what I should replace it with. Maybe I should even leave it in and side deck Super Poly.

Any thoughts?
I've had my fun with Gravekeeper's, but now, I'd like to move onto another Deck Type. Competing at my locals made me realize the vast amounts of top-tier decks out there.

I was thinking of making a Blackwing Deck and a Machina Gadget Deck. I've read Roan's Deck Doctor on this, and I'm only missing a few Monsters, Spells and Traps for it, but if I could get his and Daegor42's thoughts on what they think about the Decks I've presented, then that would be great.

I'm glad I started buying Gold Series 3 Sets. =)
I used to play, then i started beyblades.. but i had this Awesome Burn deck that could easily do one turn kills, it had marshmallonm, doomfire, soul of fire and all the volcanic cards (i could of probably won a comp with it). I also had a crystal beast deck which had a rainbow dragon that i got for free of one of my friends, i also had an infernity which only ever lost by being run out of cards and in the whole time i was using that deck i only ever suffered one direct hit ever.

What do you mean, my thoughts?

Personally, I like Blackwings more than GK's and Machina, but I used the deck back when we had 3 Gales and 3 BWW, so yeah.

And I prefer Machina Salvo to Machina Gadget, but that's just me.
Hmm, wrong place to ask, but is anybody willing to sell a competitive deck of theirs for a relatively cheap price?

Thanks

My range is 50-100 depending on how good the deck is and i can go up to $300 considering that alot of competitive decks are worth that much.
