It's not.

lol

A +1 means gaining a card advantage in some way. Using Respite recycles two cards, and you draw three. You trade 3 cards for 3 new ones.

Anyways, I drew a few hands with a 42 card GB deck with 1 less Spell Card and 3 proxy Respites, and it's not something that I really like. Playing with Respite takes adjusting, and the times where I draw Respite, I would have definitely preferred to have drawn a Spell or Trap that would be more useful in that situation. It would help whenever I drew Secutor, Retiari, or Murmillo though, but Test Tiger remedies that problem.

i meant to say its a +1 when combined with the equeste.
Then it's Equeste that allows for the +1. Equeste actually generates a lot of +1's, not only from Respite.

i know that, but we were talking about respite and why it's good and thats one of the reasons it is good.

It's a pretty bad time for me to be making this, since I'm starting school again and all. But it's going to be my last year of high school and I'm only take 4 AP classes along with band, so I'll still probably have time to play Yugioh on the weekends. I've been meaning to make quality posts, but it seems as if the only decent post that I've made so far on that site has been the very first one...
hey im getting a Zombie World structure when i get the money i cant wait

This isn't the community I was talking about starting, but Elmo inspired me to start up a blog to record my tournament progress and general thoughts on things regarding the game. I just started it today so there isn't much there, but I plan to use it pretty frequently.
lol! Loving the name of it, can't wait to read the rest.
i use a gemini deck with a bunch of other cards
Everyone can set their whole hand without worry now, and it's pissing me off. I played against Gemini City today and lost 0-2 since he had so many answers... I was also unable to draw into my Trap Stuns and Cold Wave. It's also weird trying to change my play-style to fit Prisma Glads, even though I've played them two formats ago. I don't know whether or not I should go offensive or defensive sometimes, and it's a little frustrating. I need to learn how to make better reads and avoid Starlight Road with Gyzarus. I hope I do better tomorrow, since I went 1-2 today and scrubbed out.

Also, it's even more frustrating when luck is the reason why I lose a match, not skill.

Yeah, I found that out yesterday too. It's kind of ridiculous just how much Heavy Storm being gone changes the way the game plays.

It's also stupid just how long one continuous card like a Skill Drain, Royal Decree, Burden of the Mighty, etc. can stay on the field. Royal Decree is absolutely awful this format, and I think it's going to see a lot of play, especially in such a back row heavy format with very little spell/trap removal.
If things don't go well tomorrow, I'm definitely going to go back to my build (minus the Cat and Heavy) last format, the one with 3 Dust Tornado.

Eh, I'm going to change my build around for tomorrow. I'll use 2 DT, 2 Trap Stun, and take out RotA and MBaaS. To be honest, when I'm in a bad position and draw MBaaS, the situation becomes worse... the same thing could be said for other cards in the deck, but I find myself missing DT too much that I need to at least main 2.
I run Crystal Beasts w/ Rainbow Dragon and Hamon Lord of Striking Thunder.

thats awesome! is that deck hard to run at all?

This has been and will continue to be why I refuse to play that card. It's entirely too situational and you always draw it when you don't need it. Its utility is way too low to warrant main decking, even in a format where everyone is playing Dark Hole.

My Body as a Shield is a side card at best.
Updated my blog today with a somewhat in-depth analysis of Infernity post-ban list. Would love to hear your thoughts or suggestions about the entry or things I should cover in the future.

No,Depending on whats within its contents.
Rescue Cat getting banned pretty much killed the idea of of running CB's w/ Hamon for me, personally i'd play the turbo variant using Diamon Dude. Currently i'm taking a like to Uria OTK but how good it will be this format is questionable at best.
i use a dragon syncro combination dragon's mirror to summon five headed dragon and sacifice red arch fiend i use to summon majestic red dragon so mjestic won't go away then five headed + majestic red dragon

5000+4000= opponent dead!

wouldnt that be kinda.. hard to do? i mean, 5 dragons for FGD then a red dragon archfiend, with majestic dragon, as well as a lvl 1 monster as well for majestic red dragon?
no since by the time i get out majestic red dragon's mirror lets me fusion summon from my graveyard so ill have atleast 5 dragon type monster in my graveyard since i do you a dragon type deck, btw i use lots of card that summon tokens so i have my level 1s
I don't really have a deck but I do have malefic stardust dragon

My friend just put together this sick Uria deck, but it's a control build, not an OTK.

How does the OTK with Uria work?
Even with the banlist clipping thier wings, I still continue to run my Blackwing deck. I also run a Gemini Deck, a PACMAN deck and a Spellcaster Lockdown deck.

Stupid banlist killed my Frog OTK deck, that didn't use Mass Driver D:
PACMAN is amazingly fun. I love Des Lacooda and Worm Lynx.

Delta-Crow the shizz backrow that everyone sets.
wats a PACMAN deck? has konami seriously released a pac-man card? /facepalm
