Devon Players

Hi all.

I'm jumping back in with Beyblade X and I'm based currently in Honiton but moving to Sidford soon.

I play Pokémon tcg out of a shop in Exeter called Clifton Road Games. The owner has said he is "not against" having organised play.

Anyone in the area: make yourseves known!

Thanks
What a coincidence lol 😆

I also go to clifton road, but for ttrpg nights. Had a couple of youtube videos pop up in my recommended recently about beyblade and thought it might be fun to revisit that bit of my childhood again. But was sad to see there doesn't seem to be any organised groups in the exeter area.

Ah nice! Crazy!
As I said... Steve is "not against" it lol.

At the moment I'm a pretty busy bee, not a lot of time for much (including Pokémon). Be cool to try and setup some casual stuff, the Pokémon boys are happy to humour me with a few goes
Fair enough. Yeah I'm not sure if it's something I'd do, say, weekly. Considering i'm painting up some wargaming stuff with the intent to play that soon, so my after work free time will be mostly spoken for (that and throwing beyblades into an arena is good fun but not something i'd wanna do weekly). But a casual tournament or something every so often could be good for a few laughs for sure.

Consider me interested, although I have no clue where to get any of the stuff since it seems we're getting drips and drabs from the american market.

Nice man. I'll message you if I get something going.

I got all my stuff from Amazon. I bought Hasbro only.

Hiya, I live in Exeter and I've just started getting back into beyblading again...i didn't even know it was still a thing till a couple of weeks ago...i was shocked ...i used to battle all the time when I was younger, back in the days of the OG plastic blades.

I've been hammering all the old series out again, and I've just brought a Beyblade Xcelerator stadium and two blade combo set, and I'm itching to start battling again!!!! Unfortunately, due to a neurological disability I can't walk so I'm stuck in a mobility scooter when I go out and about, so I'm limited to where I can go in the sense it needs  to have disabled access, but I'm looking to see if there's anywhere in Exeter where people like minded and similar aged like to let it rip!!!!!

I'm in the same situation freind, I used to absolutely hammer it out when I was younger, and I couldn't believe it when I seen that beyblade is not only still a thing, but still thriving with loads of new series, new blade types, new arenas, and even a game on steam, switch and android lol.

I live in Exeter too and am looking for like minded people to battle out with.
