STATUS: WRITING ON WEEKENDS!
DEAMON MEISTER
It was a cloudy summer day; a slight breeze rustled the leaves. Naga was sleeping under the shade of an old oak tree, resting her back against the slender trunk. Yaru walked over and sat next to her, looking at the beautiful sky. Naga rolled her head over onto Yaru’s shoulder. Yaru couldn’t blame Naga for being tired, he was tired, too. They had been pulling a lot of all-niters lately, and it was showing. Naga rolled her head off his shoulder and Yaru got up to check on the fish. “Naga, food’s ready.” Naga just rolled over. “Heh.” Yaru took the fish and walked over to Naga. Naga sniffed the air and bit down on the fish, or so she thought. “ YOWCH!!!!!! LET GO!!!!!!!” Naga opened up her mouth, letting go of Yaru’s hand, and her eyes fluttered open. She yawned.
“What time is it?”
“How would I know?! I’m too busy trying to stop the bleeding!”
“Hey, it’s not my fault!”
“Yea, well, here.” Yaru gave her a fish.
“Thanks” Naga took a chunk out of the fish with her sharp fang teeth. She couldn’t remember the last time she ate. She didn’t mean to bite Yaru; it was instinct, her being raised by wolves and all. She remembered seeing Yaru when she was little, his long silver hair flying in the wind. She had never seen such a beautiful sight in her life. She remembered playing with his hair, threading it between her fingers. Her and Yaru had been together ever since then, walking around the world, as demon hunters. Although, they did have another reason. There are many rumors about a weapon called the demon blade that gives the wielder unimaginable power. They say that it is kept at the border of this world and the world of the dead. When they found out about the blade, the both made a pact that they would share its power.

“Hey, Naga.” Said Yaru.
“Huh? What is it?”
“When we find the demon blade, do you think we’ll be able to kill him?”
“Yea, of course.”
By him, Yaru meant Kikuyu Yatagane. When they were children, about 8 and10 years old, they went out to the village from the secret path that they had made through the woods. When they returned with the spoils from their looting, they saw Kikuyu standing there, above the bloody bodies of Yaru’s and Naga’s families. He was sheathing a sword, and looking at the crystal embedded in the wall. “So, my hunch was right, the garucial crystal was here.” Kikuyu grabbed the crystal, pushed the children aside like garbage.

When they finished their fish, Naga said, “Where to next?”
“I heard that there is a massive demon problem in Anata village, and that’s not too far from here.”
“Alright, let’s go! Let me just grab my sword.” Naga went behind the tree that she was sleeping and grabbed her sword. It had a silk handle, and did not at all look like a traditional sword at that time. Her sword was a Katurato sword, handed down , and hand crafted by the demons of the late 5th century. It was the early 6th century now, but not much had changed, according to the old mage in their homeland. “Yes, I remember havin’ my poppa fruit under the shade of our farm as a young kin like you. Not much changes over 100 years, not a bit. It’s good to see you young’ins eager to see the world, it warms my heart, it does.”

They walked until noon, taking in the beautiful scenery, when they were rudely interrupted. “Ah, a meal, yum, yum! How nice of you to come for lunch!” Said an ugly lizard demon in a raspy voice.
“Yea, but we’ve got to get going, so it’s about time for you to…” Naga unsheathed her sword , pulled it up high, and yelled ”DISSAPEAR!” as she swung it down, but the lizard was too fast, it dodged it and said “What a pity, no. this will not do, no, no, no.” The lizard shook his head and did a quick step to the left coming behind Yaru. Naga raised her sword, but the lizard came behind her. “Wrong move!” Naga pivoted behind her, and swung, slicing the lizard in half.

Naga sheathed her sword and glanced at Yaru, inhaling sharply. “Lizard demons are always around it seems.” Suddenly, a sharp gash ripped her side, causing her to fall to the ground in pain. “Tisk, tisk, tisk. It’s impolite to destroy other people’s belongings, you know. Oh well, young children don’t seem to know how to show respect anymore.” It was a woman, in a silky black dress that was long and glittered in the sun. She appeared to be in her late thirties, not a single wrinkle on her face, with high shoes and many glittering black bracelets.

Naga got up, realizing that Yaru was not there, but hovering in midair, thrashing about in a fruitless attempt at freeing himself from the invisible bonds surrounding him. “Since it was one of my weakest puppets, I’ll be easy. The death of a friend should be the proper price to pay.”

The woman’s voice was sickening, the way the words flowed out of her mouth so easily, how it writhed and slithered like a snake, as if killing someone was as simple as saying a word.
Naga clutched her sword and without warning, charged at the woman.

“Give… Him… BACK!”

It dealt no damage, but the charge shocked the woman enough to make her drop Yaru. He got up, gasping for air, grabbing a small knife from his small pouch in the strap on his arm in the process. Naga was already pouncing on the woman again, constantly slicing at her, once again, to no avail. Using this distraction to his edge, Yaru quickly got behind and sliced with all his might. The woman just stood there, eyes wide, mouth ajar, for a number of seconds.

“You…. Brat…” Her voice was crackling, the life draining out weakening her.

The air was filled with butterflies that changed colors, crimson to black. The duo was in complete awe and confusion as to what just happened.

“Nice try, but it’ll take more than that to kill me.” The woman remarked mockingly, her shape reforming high above in the air, before disappearing once again in another flurry of butterflies.

Oooo... cliffhangers XD
.........Roich..........poor iguana

great story though!!
Bump, writing more. POSTPOSTPOST
i love it
Bump, again. POSTPOSTPOST
Ahhh, yep I know this one!! Yah dw I read this 1
esta bien Grin
um., i'm sorry, what did you say?
"It's good" in Spanish. Now this, THIS, I like very much. Although.... You have to put two guys in it... One, a guy that uses twin deadly yo-yo's as weapons an two, a refference to Beyblade somewhere, or better yet, some one that uses a cursed one as a weapon. And to keep to your story it houses the soul of a very powerful demon that only materialises when the Red Moon completely blocks the sun and will cause a century of destructruction and death unless a team of Legendary Demon Hunters slays him.
1
and 2 It is the 6 th century, but i could...
Woah hold up.... Naruto is set in medieval Japan and they have working lights, TV's and indoor plumbing and you can't have an over powered toy? Oh well. How about you put someone that's there for comedic effect, much like Tetsuya Wataganari hehehe
Well, i could have the kids in the village playing with tops...
EDIT!
I really am at a standstill with my other story (King of beys) [thanks for all your support guys! And if anyone would help me it would be appreciated (SP?)]
So i decided that I would write more of this!
