Deck Emergency!!!!!

Alright, I am entering my very first Beyblade tournament this Sunday. I need you guys to help me make the best deck possible please! (I have virtually no Beyblade x knowledge) These are the parts I have. Blades: Keel Shark x2, Claw Leon x2, Soar Phoenix, Sting Unicorn, Horn Rhino, Talon Ptera, Bite Croc, Scythe Incendio, Sword Dran, Dagger Dran, Arrow Wizard, Tusk Mammoth. Ratchets: 3-60 x5, 3-80 x2, 4-60 x3, 4-80 x2, 5-60 x2, 9-60. Bits: Point x3, Flat, Low Flat x2, Gear Flat, Taper x2, Ball x2, Needle, Rush. Please help me guys I really want to do well!!!
Try keel Shark in its stock combo <purple one> soar Phoenix with 9-60 and rush and arrow wizard with 5-60 and ball. I'd say that's fairly evened out for your first tournament with your options, if not swap out keel shark for stock sword dran
I would say, something like;

Soar Phoenix 9-60 Rush (full meta combo),
Sting Unicorn 5-60 Point/Taper (try both),
Bite Croc/Keel Shark 3-60 Low Flat.

Other decent options;
Scythe Incendio 5-60/9-60 Ball,
Talon Ptera 5-60 Taper/Flat/Point.

Let me know if you have any questions about the combos, bits, or anything else and I'll be happy to help further! Smile7

Thank you so much! You have helped me since I first made a post about some good beys to use, and I really appreciate it. So I did some research, and what makes 9-60 good with Soar Phoenix? Also, what do you prefer using on the Sting Unicorn, taper or point? Sorry about all these questions, these are the last few. I ended up getting a winder launcher and the string launcher, which one should I use for this deck? Is there really a difference?
No no more than happy to answer questions! I'm reasonably new myself but did a ton of research so happy to share what little I know haha!

So Soar Phoenix can go on many ratchets, it's just a great blade over all, but Unicorn really likes 5-60 and Croc/Shark really wants 3-60, so that basically just leaves 7-60 and 9-60 left for Phoenix (never use 4-60, the protrusions stick too far out so really easy to burst). You can try Phoenix on 5-60 and put the 9-60 on Unicorn, personally I like them this way but entirely up to you!
Phoenix can work very well on 9-60/5-60/3-60/7-60/7-70, but 9-60 is very common on Soar Phoenix, it has high burst resist and also helps with stamina which are both great for it.

As for Sting Unicorn, it's a really good Balance type, can be played as anything, so on Point it can play both as either an Attacker or a Stamina type depending on how you angle it (tilted or flat), it's getting a little out dated now but it's still a very strong blade with 2 really great pointy-bits for big smash attacks, whilst the rest of it is smooth so can deflect hits.
The same things mentioned about Point also goes for Taper, flat or tilted launches change what it does for that match (e.g. can go attack against a stamina types (tilted) or defensive/stamina against other stuff (flat) etc), gives you options! Very flexible. I personally prefer Point but I recommend trying both!
You can also run it on Flat, to be pure offense, or ball to be pure stamina, but Point/Taper gives you the options of both.
(My understanding is Point is more defence/stamina focused, whilst Taper is more attack/stamina focused, but all depends on how you launch).

As for Winder vs String... that's a hard one to answer, and basically everyone's response is "Whichever you are most comfortable with".
The general consensus is, Winder Launcher can grant a little more power but is harder to control (since you are yanking it, harder to keep your hand steady), whilst String Launcher gets a little less power but has much more control (you don't need to tug as hard, just consistent pull. So less force = easier to keep steady and control your launch).
Practice/experience with either will basically give you the same result as the other, so just use whichever you feel most comfortable with and practice controlling your launchers (Lots of good videos on Youtube for launch techniques etc).

If you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask more than happy to help, Good luck and Happy Blading!
