Dan's BB-114 VariAres D:D Draft *Posted*

That was Kei's doing, thank him instead! Tongue_out
Ohhhhhhh! Thanks Kei! Lol I get mixed up on articles -,-
To me, saying "ridiculous amount of smash attack" is a little non Bey-wiki ish. You should end it in "every Blader should own this Beyblade."

The actual article on BeyWiki does not have that.
I'll just edit the title so no one ever gets confused about this draft's status again.
Trunks: http://wiki.worldbeyblade.org/index.php/VariAres_D:D read it over now if you like and perhaps we'll make changes if they're reasonable!
We did a great job, Dan!

Nice working with you! Man, I'm so proud that my own contribution has been posted! Never thought it'd happen!

Thanks, Dan and Shabalabadoo for helping Dan and I!

Hey Dan. Can you edit your post to disable smilies so the link works correctly? :)

I know that it now works in the quote on this post, but chronological readers of the thread will get to yours first.
congrats Dan and BBS on getting this posted! it was really good

LOL I saw. I wasn't aware that the article had been uploaded...

Sorry if i'm writing only now,but i've read VariAres article some minutes ago on BeyWiki.
In the Overall section,i read:
VariAres quickly found it's home in smash attack customs and is regarded by some as of even higher standard than Lightning which has held it's own position as the best smash-attack wheel since release.

Who wrote and who accepted this? I mean, Lightning's been the best smash attack wheel since release? Gravity,Hell,Fang?
What i mean, are you serious guys?
In this way, people that will read this article will think in a wrong way..
It is a consensus that Lightning has better smash than all the wheels you just mentioned.
Hell? Hell is easily blown out of the water in attack customizations.
I don't remember that when Hell came out people said "OMG,it's horrible!" xD
Yes,now is quite outclassed, but Lightning the best smasher is a terrible lie :\

EDIT: also the consensus is wrong. It's unreal to think that you guys think really this!
EDIT2: Leone has less Smash Attack than Lightning? °_°
I'm quite certain until Beat, Blitz and VariAres came along, Lightning had the most smash attack of any other wheel. It has remained a staple since release (lol) and for a reason. Lightning got a real boost because of RS and 230 combinations making right-spinners practically extinct over here until just recently.. :V
Obviously in your meta-game Lightning is no longer desired because it isn't amazingly good against other attackers, but in a place filled with stamina and defense it is godsend. (until Basalt BD145 and weak launching god damn.) Bring it up in the advanced forum.
The last post to let people reply here, then i'll move this discussion in Advanced Forum (in Advanced Forum their permission is restricted xD)

I don't think that Beywiki should contain informations regarding specific Metagames. Is wrong to think to Italian MG or American MG,or others xD.
I think BeyWiki should contains truth.
And the truth is that Lightning isn't the best smasher since its release..
Then you make an italian article? I mean people would like to read in their first language anyway, right?

I've translated a lot of articles,so yes,me and other mods will translate all the new articles asap!
sounds good!
really nice draft Dan!
I recently edited this article tonight, changing the suggested R2F/LRF to RF/R2F/LRF, as RF is generally the actual preferred tip for the combos listed.

Just figured I'd give a heads-up on my change. It was a minor edit, but I thought it an important one, since a user recently tried the two out and was surprised to learn than RF is preferred despite the wiki not listing it.
Ah! Must have been on of SSJ's edits: RF always remains constant in any attack combination I mention. :V
Thanks Hazel!
Haha, Yo, I hate R2F and I've never even used LRF!
I've never heard of anyone seriously using LRF or R2F on Vari, honestly, but I didn't want to remove information I wasn't sure of.
Based on past data collected, the two are faster than RF, and that never hurts.

ever.
They're faster, but they break pattern quicker and in general seem to be less preferred for a reason I am not sure I understand.
All three Bottoms have their advantages, or at least that is what the general knowledge is : RF is easier to control and has slightly more stamina, but R²F and LRF move faster.
