Some of you may remember this project of mine from back when I posted it on BBF. I've made some progress since then and I'd like to share.
For the past few years I've always done the arts separately. Music, writing, digital art. They've always been kept apart from each other.
For this project, I decided to clash all of these areas together (hence the name of the collection) in an effort to really flex my creative muscle.
So now that you have the background, what exactly is "DISSONANCE"? In the simplest wording possible, its a concept disc (meaning that it tells a story) that I'm putting out, but in a rather untraditional fashion. I've decided to immerse all of the senses by creating accompanying lyrics and images for each of the six songs on the disc. The images and lyrics are meant to be looked at while you listen to the song, so you can get a complete picture of the situation presented in the story. Here's the track list and album cover:
