Custom wood burned Beyblade deck boxes/cases

Just measuring potential interest here. Would anyone be interested in a custom wood burned beyblade box? Before you read the rest of it, these will essentially act as full art commissions done by my girlfriend, and commissioned art isn't cheap. She already does wood burning commissions, and gets paid well for it. However, she's going to be working on one for me, as well as her son who plays too. So, we're going to open it up for requests once we can round up everything we need. As far as designs for the boxes, she can do lettering, designs, characters, beyblades, basically whatever. For content creators, channel logos can also be done. I've got a handful of photos of other woodburning pieces she has done, which are posted below.

Now, we are still sourcing the proper size boxes, and other material we may need. However, we may have one or two to show off in person, in MD next month (photos of these will be posted when they are finished). There will be tons of options available. The boxes will likely be pine, and there will be options for stains for the wood, we can add leather carrying handles, small lockable front latches, foam compartments, etc. My main idea was to create a box that is specifically meant to carry 3 beyblades, to be used at tournaments, so that you can keep your entered beys safely with you at all times.

I'm sure price will be a factor for most, we're going to work on making as cost effective as possible. Once I have a base price set in stone, I'll share it here as well. There will eventually be a base price that will include the cost of the box, and a small custom piece. Prices will go up, the more customization you want to add. Larger boxes can be done as well, to fit more beys. Below will also be an image of one of the potential boxes that we are looking at. This will be the base box, before any work.

Interested to hear some thoughts.

I can't stress just how hilariously amazing a wood burned Beyblade box featuring the likeness of Jareth the Goblin King would be. That's amazing.

What are the dimensions of the box? I find that the beydeck beycase, meant for deck format during the era of MFB, to be a bit small for most modern beys.

That's one of the things that we are still shopping for. We are measuring them to burst standard sizes (poor Garuda might have to stay home). Some of the better looking ones are similar to flash card/recipe card boxes. With those dimensions, it fits 3 of my tallest beys, stacked on their side [Energy Layer to driver], with enough room for foam inserts inbetween, to prevent them from rubbing together during transport. We've also looked at boxes that can fit 3 side by side, horizontally.

But, we're going to be perfectly sure that they can fit 3 of most, if not all beys.
Hmmm. That could be an issue. Garuda is no longer one of the widest beys. And beys just keep getting wider, and taller. If it cannot reliably fit 3 Imperal combos, for example, I'm not sure how useful they would be.

Understandable. That's definitely the kind of feedback we're looking for. There are tons of various sized boxes we can order. I'll have to dig around and see if I can find some measurements for the biggest combos, and we can work it from there. We do want to keep them as compact as possible, just to keep them easily transportable around a tournament venue. But, I definitely want to make sure the beys are secure, with a little room for expansion.

Here is another example of a larger box that we could do. There are a number of different foam configurations you could do on one this size. This one is stood up on it's side, but laying flat, it's dimenstions are:     L:12” x  W:9.125” x H:3.25”

We're going to be looking at some of the local craft stores too. We're taking care to make sure that the interior dimensions are sufficient, and not just looking at exterior sizes.

Another small update, we're also going to add the option of a chest style box. Realistically, we can work with any style of box. So, if you find an unfinished box that will better fit your needs, by all means send me a message with a link, and I can tell you if it's something we can work with or not. These boxes pictured will be for the base models.
