The 2nd Annual Costumed Clash
Trick or Treat Gauntlet

The sun has set, the Clash is over, and the night is quiet… The victor has been decided and the battles are done. But wait! Footsteps echo in the night, growing louder, louder! SIX monstrously powerful bladers have appeared, offering a new challenge, greater than any before! Those who triumph will be granted an allotment of treats… but those who suffer defeat will be stopped in their tracks. Join us for the finale to October’s spooky festivities and claim your spot as the Victor of Fright!

Gauntlet Rules:
Stage 1:
  • All challengers get a Scorecard to record their total candy stolen from each boss. Challengers are responsible for their own cards and will tally up the candy total themselves.
  • Challengers battle a total of 6 Halloween Bosses, stealing candy as they go. Candy stolen is proportionate to points scored. (i.e. an over finish earns 2 pieces of candy, but a loss means no candy)
  • Each boss has a trick or two up their sleeve! Challengers have to overcome these tricks to win the Boss’s battle.
  • Battles are P3C1 and Sudden Death meaning Challengers only launch once per battle. A win is a match win, and a loss is a match loss.
  • The Top 16 Challengers progress to Stage 2
Stage 2:
  • Challengers get a Stage 2 Scorecard
  • Challengers battle 2 bosses at once in the TT 3P stadium with the same rules as Stage 1.
  • The Top 8 proceed to Stage 3
Stage 3:
  • Standard Single Elimination bracket:
    • 3on3
    • Deck Format in finals

The gauntlet begins 15 minutes after 4:45 PM to make time for bladers to claim their loaner decks and think over their strategy. Bladers arriving after 5:00 will not be able to participate. Use the #im-on-my-way channel in the Discord to keep us updated on your ETA!

This is a costume party! Come dressed up as anything you like

Banlist Variation: Metal Needle Bit Ban
  • The following Bit may not be used in this tournament: Metal Needle
Out-of-Bounds ruled as Over Finish
  • Any Beyblade that goes out-of-bounds in this Tournament will be considered knocked-out instead. If a Beyblade is knocked-out in this manner, it will count as an Over Finish.
7 Point First Stage
  • First Stage Matches are played to 7 points for this Tournament.

Location Details

Park in the South parking lot. Follow the signs to find the event. The room we are blading in is called Snelling Hall, and there is a plaque outside its doors indicating the room's name. Comfortable seating is provided, and the church's bathrooms are available and easily accessible.

There are restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores nearby. Feel free to pick up some lunch on your way to the event!
