Cars

i was being sarcastic, neons are terrible cars, avoid making skin contact with them if you can

Looking at your budget... What about a used mustang or vw jetta?

fox body mustangs are vile

new dream car

The one from the first page looked cooler.
i'm being sarcastic
Well that went over my head.
haha, i forgot to mention the 8000 is going to be split 6000/2000. 2000 for me, 6000 for dad. so there's lots of saving to do, but i'm generally looking around the 5000 price range at most. it will be my first car and it is a high possibility it won't turn out as great in the end when i'm done with it. (LOL even though i am careful with things like these)

to be honest, i've only seen one 240 drive on the roads here. most of the time i see altimas and maximas if it had to be a nissan car.

is it possible to get a hardtop miata?
Yeah, seeing the insurance prices for most cars I doubt I'll be getting a car anytime soon. D=

If anything I would go for a honda accord or something in that area though.
everyone here has an accord/civic/corolla (newer models however i have seen a few older levins) and they are like cockroaches

we might be selling the tacoma to the toyota dealers. they're offering 8000$ for it (they say it has some problem and this is their incentive to get their tacomas back)

criteria: not overly expensive, lots of aftermarket support (optional), fun to both drive, race, and a little bit of drift. RWD is preferable, AWD is for anything other than RWD (meaning no FWD lol)

thinking of a miata, but not really sure. any other suggestions?

A Camry if you can afford it (2001 and newer if you can). Neons are okay, but it is just a first car.
Neons are not okay.

If you want something reliable that won't have things break randomly, do not get a Neon.

I actually don't like the CLK class. the 350 is made especially cheaply... the 550 is OK, but I do like the CLS better, same engine and all.
The CLK 63 was really nice... but sadly they stopped making it, which was a big downfall for the CLK, it really has gone downhill... CLS is a far superior car, the interior appointments of the CLS are much more luxurious and its a much smoother car to drive. A CLK 350 coupe would be a good car for me as a beginner maybe a few years down the road, but not for my dad...
drop the c and get a SL 63 amg

I wasn't feeling their new look at first, but they are Diirty.
blue, the sl63 is the car my dad might get next.
Oh, thats a pretty cool car. I still like hte SL 65 black edition better, and the SL 63.

Finally carp around til I crashed my motorcycle.
Also thinkin about trading the Ram in for a Nissan 350Z lol..
I'm kinda thinking about that too.. I could get a really good 2006 350 for less than $19,000, so it comes down to how much money I end up wanting to blow... Wish I was rich so I could just get a GT-R.
