Frankly because all three previous BEY SLAY tournaments have not used a tournament format properly, and after three times we have a huge problem.
we can do a round robin

That is what I told ShortyVybe to do multiple times after each of his first two tournaments. The result of such insistance : still no Round Robin was used.
round robin was used for BS3 so idk what kai-v is talking about, continue to see BeySlay as soon to be official until i get this settled. I'm not letting this tournament get shut down just because some information was taken wrong.
what about in the videos. dont they show that he used round robin

You used Block Round Robin and your decisions regarding that fifth block, although I can understand that you cannot just reject that kid from Minnesotta, were unfortunately really questionable.
My birthday is soon dk my mom will hopfilly take me and mrblade and anybody else with a tourny legal stadium plz bring them for practice rounds we don't want people lining up to use good stadiums

id consider it more like doing what i feel is right. maybe it was wrong of me of adding the extra block but i couldnt just send that kid off..

Which is noble, but what you should have done was add him to an already existing block whichever one that had all of the players in that block still present. For example, if you had 5 players in block 4, you would add him to that block and have him face all 5 other players and then reassess the winner for that block based on updated win/losses.

See the difference of this is what you felt was right instead of what was right for the beypoint system and other players. As a host, you have to be able to work in the confines of the rules and formats given. If you can't work within that, then it simply cannot happen.
The only goal of that block should have been to simply see if the kid would have gone to the finals had he arrived sooner though. Since he lost all his matches because anyway you chose the second best out of each four former blocks, things should have stopped there, and you just do the finals.
He was there that kid but he didn't tell shorty what his name was and he didn't ask can I enter that's why that extra block was made so he wouldn't feel bad
well as you can see guys, my decision of letting a kid play in the tournament was deemed "unhostly like" so this bey slay may be cancelled. i'm sorry for letting you guys down, i really do enjoy these tournaments and giving out prizes to all you talented bladers. maybe sometime in the future i can revive this but until then idk if i can host anymore. its up to you guys to continue chicagos beyblade scene. Again my deepest apologies.

You cannot give up now!

Stay strong and come over this! I think you should now prove to them you can, and ask them if you could do out properly, if you don't do it properly, then tell them you wont do tournies.
I really don't see how letting a kid come who came from minessota play in your awesome tourny is deemed Unhostly. I really think it should be the other way around. We need you to keep hosting the Bey Slay!
the mods dont understand that i have to roll with the punches at these tournies, and parents are all over me when the tournies are moving to slow or whatever they have to complain about. i think the mods are just being over brutal with their rulings and havnt looked at the facts of being a host. im not gonna argue anymore, i have B-boy battles, wrestling and school to deal with so if they wanna shut me down, go for it. but just keep in mind that i put alot of time into these tournaments and am not gonna take this show of disrespect lightly.
Honestly, I understand what Kai-V is getting at, but this time, you could promise them not happpening for it again.

Believe me, we all like you now. Honestly, without you, I'd still be thinking I was the only IL Blader on this website.
theres no way thts going to happen bc we still need more ppl on r team and ppl already told there parents yes i mean its so stupid he makes one lil thing wrong and he cant b a host anymore? it was not his fault the kid didnt speak up untill the last minute and he did wat he felt was right and it turned out fine no one complaned about it bc they where fine with it
URGENT EVERYONE READ

i understand everything u guys are saying and yes i do like shorty a lot but u have to think about it from a mods perspective. obviously i would have done the same thing as he did because u dont have much time to think. but what the mods are saying is that they asked him to do block round robin in the other tourneys and he didnt but when he did last time by creating the new block it gives some kids unfair advantage where they will earn more beypoints while still losing there bracket. im helping shorty get this resolved as we do not want him to quit blading and we all want him to continue hostin tournaments. but if this doesnt get resolved me and shorty have agreed to let me take over this tournament. everything would stay the same but i would just be hosting it. we do need to hurry though so i can get the prizes! also keep an eye out as i may be hosting summers end brawl on september 24!
ok cool i guess if this tournament continues

You do realize that the only mod that hasn't experienced the duties of being a host is Kai-V, right? And even then she understands it well enough because she communicates with EVERY host. The committee fully understands "rolling with the punches" and having raging parents on site.

I think you're playing the victim when it's completely unmerited. Stop whining. Seriously, you act like 15-30 kids is a nightmare. Try 30-85 sometime. You have it SO EASY compared to places like Maryland, New York, Toronto, the UK, and Australia.

In solution to Illinois's issue here, you guys should set up Livestream. Every time I've had an issue with rulings where something was questionably done, I set up a livestream for the next tournament. It's added work, but at least the committee can give you real time assessments of your work and help if you have issues like this again. You may also want to look into co-hosting. Two heads are better than one sometimes as multitasking is stressful.
EVERYONE I HAVE TALKED TO ADMINS AND SHORTY, I WILL NOW BE HOSTING THE TOURNAMENT! EVERYONE HEAD ON OVER TO http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-UPDATE-S...Final-Slay FOR THE NEW THREAD!
Fury, Shorty can still host it!

It's just that he needs it for approval. ShortyVybe, everyone in Illinois needs YOU. YOU are the best!

I understand Kai-V once again. But this doesn't mean you cannot give it a try!
He apporved that Fury?
