ok thanks. So if i am substituting my Sagittario's tip (as it broke) with WD, SD, SF, or hf/S which would be better? i'm assuming SD, but i've been using WD and it's performed great. I'll have to try it out with SD then.

It depends on what track you're using. IIRC WD works better on higher tracks and SD on lower tracks.

See here to be in the top tier list a bey has to be the best in it's type & also put up a decent average amount of victories against other types , i don't know who told you it was top tier but it is not , it could be in the metagame of other countries , but overall it is not in the list
