If you're a shy guy, there's nothing wrong with taking a passive approach. Some girls even find that cute. Not every girl wants a brave, macho dude. If you're not the kind of guy to say it to her face, don't try to be, or at least, not at this point in time. If she does like you, I'm pretty sure she'd understand if you told her what's going on.
Looolz Dekailo. Im not sure if that'll work still nervous as hell though. Worth a try ;__; FriendZone>Relationship
^^ Situations happend to me like that before. If she's single, talk to her. Make deep eye contact, make her laugh etc etc.
EDIT: didnt see Dei's post. That'll work too.
We all could learn something from RnB music

There is nothing substantial that can be learned from it.

You should just do what I do and imagine you are talking to a wall or it isn't actually real. I do that all the time when I say/do things I am too frightened to do in a right state of mind. I have really bad social anxiety, but you would never be able to tell just how uncomfortable I am with speaking to people because I just put on my best poker face and pretend it isn't so serious. IMO, this works the best because if you treat it like it is no big deal, you're less likely to get picked on for it if you get rejected. Kids only pick on you if you are sensitive to what they are making fun of you for.
Ok soo I got over the boy I've liked for a year now. (Just realizing he is really mean sometimes to people). My friend tried to tell me, but I didn't listen. But anyways there is a new kid in my school. Sometimes I think he is flirting with me, but I'm not quite sure. I mean he comes over while I'm selling popsicles for our New York trip and ask how I'm doing. But in P.E. class we really do not talk. I'm so confused
Also we have an 8th grade dance at the end of the year at a Country Club... and I might want to ask someone there <---- any advice for asking?

I agree, everyone thinks that to impress a girl you have to be strong and that, but you don't. to be honest I'm quite shy when it comes to girls, so I was just nice to her and kind and then asked her out.

It's possible she was told by someone, but just as likely that she just plum noticed it herself - which would be good, as it's a sign she probably has eyes.
Check with a doctor first, though. Can't ever be too careful about that.
So, I was texting her last night, and she said that she noticed it on her own. She said that she honestly doesn't know if she likes me or not. But judging by the was she was wording things and the things she said, I think she does like me. But I could be wrong.

Some schools don't have "Freshman" and "Sophomore" listed as full highschool, and call it Junior High instead. I attended one such institution.
Always assume you're wrong about absolutely everything until you confirm it in a blatantly obvious fashion. Absolutely. Always.
I thought I could still be friends with my first girlfriend on Facebook but her DEMON mother still thinks I'm harassing her, even though I HAVEN'T TALKED TO HER SINCE MAY, and I had to block her because of a messege I received from said mother which annoyed the carp out of me .
Helicopter parents are probably finding a way to make being friends with an opposite gender a flag of some sort.

It's more likely the mother was concerned that some ill exchange might occur between the two of them, given their history - whatever it may or may not be.
Best to just leave the situation alone. It's actually technically not even applicable to this thread, as a matter of fact. Just because your post has the word "girlfriend" in it does not imply fitting subject matter. It's really more of a "rant about overzealous parenting" post.
Regardless, it's better of you to not demonize people on a message board. You'll create a bias without enough information behind it from either side.
She said she was going to call the cops on me. HER MOTHER HATES ME BY THE WAY AND EVEN ADMITTED IT TO ME, SHE THINKS I'M HARASSING HER SHE DOESN'T EVEN WANT ME TO BE FRIENDS WITH HER.

That's unfortunate and all, but again, it's not the correct subject matter for this thread.
The best way to handle it is to either accept it as it is and walk away, or try to work things out with her mother directly, through your own parents. Fussing about it in capital letters is just not the answer to any problem, unfortunately.
I thankfully know that, the thing is the girl is 16 and my grandparents won't do carp until she's 18. Done talking about it, bye.
in relationship, there is always a challenge that will be hitting you sooner or later. well, that is what i've learn through 2 break ups i have. first break ups is started by me. well, i want tell you guys that my first relationships is the best. i'm in a relationship when i'm 16 years old. she is my first. she's sweet but i let her down. i'm really disappointed in me. now, i have learn that friendship need effort in order for it to last. that is why, with my current girl, i want it to last long. it have currently almost a year. i hipe it will last untill i marry her. but sometime i have doubt in my heart. it says that i'm not for her and she's not for me. this things make me feel shabby about my relationship with her. i hope i can pull through this obstacle and many others. i hope...
Considering you're 18 don't you think you're a little young to be thinking about marriage?
nothing is wrong for thinking far ahead i think. becasue of i'm 18, i need to set my goals straight. this is because i don't want o be wandering in the dark for the rest of my life and before i do, it'll be to late to realize...that will be pathetic.XD

Marriage is something some people really can pull off young, and when a relationship is serious enough at that age, it is something to be considered. Circumstances vary, and more often than not it is a bad idea, but it should still be something one thinks about in advance.
People who don't plan are people who don't succeed.
Fine I guess my views belong in the 1950s and not in this messed up day and age lol.

anyway recently my girlfriend had an accident, and now she's in hospital, and she hasn't woken up now, and to be honest it's completely affected my life, my grades have plummeted, and I've shut myself off from my friends and family. I don't know what I'd do without her...

If she dies then you're gonna have to find someone else, DON'T LET YOUR GRADES PLUMMET AND DON'T SHUT YOURSELF OFF FROM YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY, YOUR PARENTAL GUARDIANS CAN GIVE YOU ADVICE ABOUT THIS AND YOUR FRIENDS (CONSIDERING THAT THEY ARE COMPLETE JACK CARPS) CAN GIVE YOU MORAL SUPPORT. Just saying.
