On to what you said earlier... Frankly, that's what people believe nowadays. That women are property, and that it is a commodity that needs to be protected.

I kinda do that sometimes. We subject jump a lot.

In a way, you still need to protect your loved one Wink

Jocks? I've seen jerks at school with girlfriends. Some of them are jocks Uncertain
At my school there's way too many jerks with hot girlfriends Tired
I think it's like that everywhere. It's pretty much considered the norm because of the society we live in... Uncertain
HAZZA!! I finally got the guts to ask out a girl i like, and she said YES.... Even better!!

Congrats man.
Ok, I got bored last night, and I decided to pull a prank on my girlfriend. I thought I would let you guys know how it went. (Because it was oh so hilarious) So, I guess this goes here...?

I sent a text to my girlfriend at 11 last night saying I fell and broke my finger, and I was going to the hospital to get an x-ray to see exactly how bad it was. Now, my fingers are really flexible, especially my ring finger on my left hand. Thus, I bent my ring finder back as far as I could so it looked broken, took a picture, and sent it to her.

When she replied, she started freaking out. She was like "Oh god, hon! I'm so sorry! I hope it's not that bad! Oh god, the picture!" or something like that. XD

This was pretty much the most hilarious thing that happened to me all day yesterday. Now I just hope that I don't really fall and break my finger, otherwise she might not believe me. XD

I'm not gonna tell you guys the whole conversation, though. Lol. Tongue_out

'And so, the Shepard boy cried "wolf! wolf!" but when all the villagers came, they saw that he had tricked them. The next day, a pack of hungry wolves came upon the flock...'

Sorry, but I couldn't help thinking of that when I read your post.

YES! I'M SO EXCITED (Wait, did I just misspell that?)! The tee time is tomorrow I think! The teams are going to be me, the girl I like, and my friend with the girl he likes. It's going to be sorta like a double date, but we're playing golf.

Tea time? I live in America, dear chap. Any old bloke knows the americans do not have tea time Wink

Ha, Jacksonian made the same mistake. You have to pay attention to spelling.
I'm just going to say, different techniques work for different people. But I will say right now if you just go to up to a girl and tell them you think there cute and would like to go do something with them, you'll probably win her over with your courage. Most really hot girls dont get hit on because too many guys are scared to even go talk to her! But honestly most advice on her is garbo :3.

Thanks,

Tahme

A good deal of Americans haven't spent a bit of time in a Kiwi (New Zealand) school either eh?

This is one that happens to have.
Well, I was supposed to start school tomorrow. But, it was canceled because of the earthquake. They are giving us the day off so that they can inspect the schools in the county and make sure they are safe. Thus, me and my girlfriend were going ot see if I could go and hang out at her house with her tomorrow.

Sadly, her mom said no. T.T Her mom has to work, so she's not going to be there. I don't really blame her mom though. After all, would you trust your daughter to be home alone with a boy you don't even know? Especially when they're in love? Yeah, you wouldn't either. Not that we would do anything, though. We're both responsible people, but still.

Anyways, we're gonna try again another day soon... Pinching_eyes_2

Don't. Generally, if you're trying too hard, you're doing it wrong.

I couldn't agree more. Just focus on whatever, and the girls will come to you. Just do whatcha do, and don't worry about it Smile

Yo, seriously, this is so true. Guys are all over me when I'm dressed like a tom boy, but if I'm wearing heels and a dress, I get nothing. I've been trying to figure this out for a long time. Actually, I've been told that most guys find me more attractive when I'm not dressed up... idk why.

It's probably just the area. I usually find girls more attractive when their dressed up, depending on the situation, but that's just me.

Maybe what your experiencing is just a NY male thing. Idk.

Apparently nobody has common sense these days. I blame stupid shows like Jersey Shore. Uncertain

There is a reason why America's founding fathers did not want input from 'The people'. They believed that the people were stupid. I completely agree with this. That is, when is comes to the common man. Or, at least most of the people I see in school. Uncertain

Are we talking about perverted boys?Thats were it all starts Grin

There is no such thing as a 5 day anniversary. Anniversaries are like birthdays - they come ANNUALLY, as in, every year on a certain date. You've been simply dating 5 days...

Yes, because when I go to Canada and get the same reactions, this is definitely an NY male thing.

I don't really think for more than a few seconds about a heel-wearing dressed up woman unless it's evident she's not trying to attract attention. Most guys would(and should, rightly) prefer a woman down to earth, rather than floating in the stratosphere of her own appearance and fashion.

Moreover, some people just look unnatural in fancier/more traditional clothing. My fiancee hasn't worn a dress in 16 years, and the next(and potentially last) dress she'll be wearing(save for extremely formal occasions) is at our wedding in June.

When a woman is dressed casual, she's usually more comfortable that way, and exudes an aura of a more down-to-earth appeal. There's also usually a factor of "Oh, this girl's not high maintenance - she dresses like a real person instead of a barbie!". It's also a good indication that the woman will not be the kind of girlfriend/wife potentiate that spends two hours doing her makeup and an hour throwing dresses and shoes around trying to find something that fits JUST THE RIGHT pattern for that particular day.

Most mature guys should be able to detect when a woman is comfortable or uncomfortable in their clothing, surroundings, makeup, etc. Some women exude confidence when dressed up. Some women seem like they're out of place. Other women have an aura about them like they're desperate attention tryhards. How you dress should fit your personality, and when it doesn't, absolutely everyone with a brain will notice.
OK, so I got back from my golf "outing" a little while ago.

It was alright. Though, it kinda reminded me of those sitcoms where they have the love triangle. I was trying to teach her to swing and stuff, but she would just ask my friend for help instead. My friend, knowing I liked her, tried to refuse or ignore her, but she really wanted him to.

Though, I think she sorta likes me now. When I asked if I could sit down afterwards, she slid over and made room for me to sit next to her. All in all, an interesting sort of "date"

In other news, the girl that can't get over me is on the fringe of breaking up with her current boyfriend (My friend). He pretty much refuses to kiss her, so she's starting to get aggravated.

It's pretty stupid, if you ask me. That whole relationship is so screwed up I don't know what to say about it Uncertain.
So.... She's trying to get to your friend through you/the other way around? Is that the scenario?

I read stories on Somethingawful about this leading to creepy or disturbing behavior.
>Anniversary
>Literal Interpretation (From Latin Anniversarius) meaning "Occuring Yearly"

Srsly, people need to remember this carp.

As for the discussion about dressing up/whatever: Too much make-up, and not being able to walk in heels but wearing them anyway make me laugh, and, at least in the case of the former, betray obvious insecurities. That said, appearing to take no interest/care for one's appearance isn't attractive either.

I don't mind a little make-up, but seriously people need to stop applying it with a spatula.
