[Blog]  BEYCASE: Competitive Stadium Station & Supply Carrying Case AIO

Hello again everyone!

I wanted to share with you a project I had been slowly inching towards completion throughout 2024 as well as my general thoughts on the hobby and why I even decided to create what I did. This project has been my own personal pleasure and not at all associated with the WBO, to be clear. Some are familiar with my attempt at a standardized third party stadium stand (BEYBOX). That project's prototype is finalized, but at this point in time the project itself is on hold. Instead, all of my focus has turned to the BEYCASE idea described and completed below. BEYCASE website linked as well.

The BEYCASE is something I made to:

1. Easily work with the environment of LGS' and other areas with limited space by being easily perched onto a table or other flat surface.
2. Function as standardized stadium stations available to all, featuring their own pocket for station numbering/identification.
3. Work with/on top of existing custom-made or official stadium stands.
4. Retain competitive integrity by ensuring stadiums stay in place, and do not slip or fly around during high-energy gameplay.
5. Be "compatible" with all legacy format stadiums. As of right now the BEYCASE works with all official 2-player stadiums.
6. Serve as a compact but robust carrying case for Organizers that need to transport their own tournament supplies to Events.
7. Be easily fold-able when stored/no longer in use.

With Beyblade X seeing the Beyblade brand being pushed to the forefront of many peoples' minds lately (from red carpet events to being an officially recognized sport in some places), it was clear to me that what we've been missing for a long time is a readily accessible stadium transport device as well as true stadium "stations". The BEYCASE aims to be just one potential solution to these inconveniences. These are small issues that have and will continue to plague our ever-growing hobby as time goes on, making it just that big more annoying to organize events.

Some of you that were around for Burst may know there were drawstring bags provided for certain stadium releases (ex. the red Burst Standard Stadium distributed at 2016 G1 "Burst Cup 2016 Winter" event or the "Tokumei Beyblade Experience Event") but these are frankly a little on the flimsy side and not easy to get your hands on. I have had mine cut from just the edge of the Burst Standard Stadium's shroud edge.. Even now some official drawstring bags are in the works for X, though their full capability and availability is something I'm unsure of..

True stadium stands have seen some adoption, but not much save for niche custom hand-made work by our die-hard hobbyists (myself included) and the official Hasbro and Takara-Tomy Events featuring cardboard stands that are, practically speaking, unavailable for open purchase and difficult to get your hands on.

As we see Beyblade X's adoption increase in a variety of settings, like LGS', designated stadium stations are important, as is conservation of space. Custom stadium stands are, in these settings, obtrusive and difficult to manage. If you've ever been to a local card shop you are familiar with rows of tables and chairs.. The space required for our hobby is significant enough as it is, and a potential deterrent for otherwise interested stores and spaces. This is a big reason why I chose to focus on a readily accessible, more compact and tidy solution that allows for use across all sorts of environments.

There is more information and additional photos on my website, but feel free to comment your questions down below or via Private Message. While I cannot modify the existing BEYCASE product I have, I will always be interested in hearing different ways to improve it so we can all enjoy the game even just a bit more easily or with more convenience.

If you're interested I implore you to check the website out and learn more.

Well that's cool! If you made it a little bit bigger I might have tinkered with an Hasbro x stadium and increase the size of the rails or put stadium floors underneath the extreme knockout as a second chance. But hey I'd buy it!
Could you make variants of the stadium, like a stadium that balances the weight of the beys and moves when the weight is shifted

It isn't a stadium its a carrying case for a stadium
Great job Dan! What you made is truly a work of art! It will DEFINITELY be nice to have compared to the blue hexagon one you see people use! I can't wait to get my hands on it and I'm sure others feel the same!
Just letting everyone US-based know that we are, of course, shipping from Canada. There is currently a 30 day pause on any potential tariffs on Canadian goods going into the United States.

As a result, tariffs/fees on Canadian goods (BEYCASE included) are not going to be applied at the border. This may change in the coming months, though, so please be aware if you're holding out for later on in the year.. Shipments with us are operating as normal, if this changes I will be sure to update our website and post here too. Thanks everyone.

non-US international and Canadian shipments will remain (directly) unaffected throughout, though, so no worries there at all.
Added to my wish list yesterday, very cool product!
Thanks for the support chimeraindustry!

Just needed to catch up here, it's been a while!

De minimis articles (for example.... Canadian shipments under $800 USD) are at this point in time NOT hit with tariffs. I just realized my live site still had tariff jump scares, but all is good now. If there are any updates and changes for you all, I'll be sure to post here! The political and economic climate in NA has not improved one iota since my last posting... but I guess at least we can still send each other toys and stuff... Fingers crossed.
