Blizzard Orthrus Draft

Note: This Beyblade is a Prize Bey and can be obtained from Fukaboko Box 2003 Takara; the chance to get it is 1\6.
Also, you can obtain this Beyblade purchasing the Hasbro Ver. that comes with an EG system; this version is called Orhtros G.

Attack Ring (AR): Double Attacker
Weight: 5 grams
Double Attacker depicts two asymmetrical dogs. This Attack Ring sees use mainly in Right Spin Smash Attack customizations, which is provided by the protrusions acting as the dogs' bodies. However, due to the great asymmetry of this AR and the big space between the two bodies the Smash power is not very strong; for this reason Double Attacker can't be considered a competitive Attack Ring.


Weight Disk (WD): Revolver Attack
Weight: 15 grams


Spin Gear (SG): Neo Right SG (Metal Weight Version)
Weight: 5 grams

Support Part (SP): Twin Guard
Weight: 2 grams
Twin Guard is a SP suitable for Defense,Survival and Zombie because of its perfectly round shape. It is similar to the Survivor Ring (Dark Series) with the exception of having two small wings instead of three projections.

Use in Zombie\LAD Customization:
* Note refer to Adding a Different SG if you do not know how to setup the SG.

Because of Customize Grip's ability to hold a SP and thanks to the round shape, this SP can assist greatly with Life After Death. Another advantage of the SP is that it aligns perfectly with the Wide Defence. Here is an example:

AR: Tiger Defense (Driger S)
WD: Wide Survivor
SG: Left SG*
SG Shaft: SG (Bearing Version) (Wolborg)
SP: Twin Guard (Blizzard Orthros)
BB: Customize Grip (Dragoon V2)

Use in Survival Customization:
Here is an example:

AR: Holy Despell (Zeus)
S-AR: War Lion (Galeon Attacker)
WD: Wide Survivor
SG: Right SG
SG Shaft: SG (Bearing Version) (Wolborg)
SP: Twin Guard (Blizzard Orthros)
BB: Customize Grip (Dragoon V2)


Blade Base (BB): SG Bolt Base
Weight: 6 grams
SG Bolt Base is a Flat Blade Base that hold four screws. The tip of the base is made of hard plastic; for this reason this Blade Base has both good attack and stamina capabilities. However,because of its height, this Blade Base can't be considered for the competitive game.

Overall

Blizzard Orthrus is an aesthetically pleasing, and rare, Beyblade. Because of the great compact shape of its Support Part (Twin Guard) this Beyblade is a must-have for any Zombie\LAD and Survival enthusiasts. However, being very rare,there are a lot of other cheap choice to have same results. Overall, this Beyblade should be bought only for a reasonable price.

I thought that Twin Guard was pretty equal to Dranzer V2's Sp and the Dark Series' SP for survival/zombies? The way you describe it is that it's way better. I could be wrong with how good it is though. Also the Dark blue Orthrous is the secret blade from RB11.

Yes,all the three SPs you've named are similar and are good for surviva\zombies purposes!
In fact,in the Overall i wrote that you can have same results buying cheapest Bey,like Dranzer V2,or one of the Dark Series (i guess that the price of a Dark is less of a Blizzard Orthrus!).
In the description i don't think that i've emphasized that SP,just named them as good SP for that purposes. Correct me if i'm wrong,thanks :]

Hasbro version have metal ball final clutch bb..(idk know the real names,but it is the same as draciel G..)

Thanks Dei,i confused the Wide Defence with Survivor when i wrote that!
Btw,yes with Gyros AR,it will be better,but how many people own or can buy it Confused
I think Master Turtle is a better choice due to the fact it's a common AR!
What do you think?

Tiger Defense should be used IMO. It is rounded with less protrusions. Also, if you are going to use War Lion as a sub AR, I would use Holy Dispel as a primary AR.

I used Storm Base,Grip Base and Customize Grip Base (i used this base to try if something could change with some SPs,but nothing rilevant in my opinion!)
The only one i didn't use is the Metal Flat Base. Sincerly i don't know why i didn't use it xD

Fair enough! I was wondering how much testing you did since I have never actually used this blade despite owning it. It is for the simple fact that light blue matches many parts. I am such a girl when it comes to Beyblade...

Well,i did 10 matches with the Grip Base,10 with Storm Grip and 15 with the Customize Grip due to the fact i would know if the SPs could really change something,but nothing to do,even with 15 matches Tongue_out

I can take pics of orthurus when it arrives also, i think that because hasbro realsed it with an egnice gear wouldn't it have a different BB (Rai have a look and tell me !!!!) if so wouldn't a section need to be wrote about that ? Same with the millions of others hasbro did XD ? Good draft otherwis, i think the overall should be changed a litle since it's a pretty vital SP ?

Anyway,i think it's not necessary,really don't know!
Try to ask to Kei ;]
BTW,not so vital SP,all plastics enthusiasts can have good results also with other cheapest SPs!

This one, but that said I don't know if the non-working part was there originally and you just revised the weight disk or whatever. Either way someone didn't try the combo before posting/including it.
