Well then, we will see what the prize(s) will be. I can't promise there will be one except for the prize of having fun. The other host and I will do what we can.
Prizes are Gold, Silver and Bronze Faces! Wink
Thanks a lot brad. Completely forgot about those. Well there you have it, your prizes are those faces and bey points. So are you in BlackDranzer?
Keep me on the maybe list, don't know if I can make it yet.
Okay, sure thing. Just let us know if anything changes.
So do you want me to put you on the maybe list?
If we charged an entry fee to buy a prize that might be too much of a hassle. That would mean the winner would have to wait for the prize, someone would have to order the prize and ship it. Especially for a small tourney the money collected would probably not even add up to all the cost. I wouldnt want to charge for a small tournament since most of us just want to have fun.
Im there just to have fun. I agree with Pinoy. I think the better idea would be just to do this for fun ( Faces and beypoints also!

Now is the actually tournament play going to be for beypoints or are we gonna battle for them separately?

The tournament battles itself count for beypoints except for the placing if theres ties know what i mean?

Also we can battle for beypoints after the tournament which is what I really want to do. I believe there is no 10 battle limit at tournaments correct me if I am wrong.

Who said those battles don't count for points? There's certainly nothing in the rules about that.

Oh really? For the last NJ tourney when Anubis did the points he didn't count those battles.
That was a mistake on his part. I don't know why he wouldn't have counted those. Please guys, read the rulebook and ask questions. Anubis is not WBO staff.
Well, for this tourney, it seems like we will be getting a lot more points than before. Let's do this right so we all get the necessary points we earn. I'll print the last 2 pages of this thread out just in case we forget.

alright man. You know me im hardcore at writing down the battes right. Ill take care of the points. Bluezee we should pm all the blladers in the NY NJ area to come for the tourney. I can take care of it later
okay. I will email all that I know, post some things on youtube, and make a couple fliers to post around my city. I have sent PMs to all NY and NJ bladers now.

Alright cool man. I want to have a lot more bladers at this event. So later on we can get like a best of NY/NJ event going on.
Yea that definitely sounds cool. We cant forget about Battle of the Boroughs 3 this summer so there can always be more tourneys but I know this one will be fun. I just noticed we have like 8 bladers on the for sure list, this is great already. Things may change but this is definitely a great start.
Whats the deal with flash? Can anyone get in contact with him?

Also assuming that everyone who's on the list is going (besides the maybes), how is the round robin going to work? Because with 8 people and one stadium it might take quite a long time. Im thinking two groups with four bladers and the winners face each other.
I sent him a PM so if he gets it in time, he will reply to us. I think he should be available for spring break so we will do another tourney then too.
Ill check his profile to see if i can email him too.

I edited my last post as you where posting so check it out and tell me what you think?
Your idea is could be a possibility but most likely, we will be using the Round Robin Block System. Depending on the number of bladers, the blocks will be sorted all into an equal amount of bladers in each group and the finalists of each block will face off for final placements.
