Why can you not do [img] [/img]?

I'm on computer now but for mobile devices it may be hard viewing them. Entry 1 has more effort put into it, for it to be animated is better than a light source on the top right. I'm not saying entry 2 isn't good but Entry 1 seems to have more effort into it.
