I bet Rantz (Lantz) is going to lose on purpose against Bird (Robin) like in the manga or he going to be defeat for real?

Possibly, but unlike the manga Bird went on a massive training journey before the battle, whereas in the manga it was his match against Roji that made him go train.

This might go down slightly differently given the timeline's different and Bird is prepared.
