BEYBLADE METAL FIGHT SABER BATTLES!

"What path will you choose?" said the voice, "The path of darkness to protect your mother or the path of light to protect the world."
"I don't... know," I said.
"Choose quickly my young friend or watch both perish because of you." said the voice before I woke up. I had deep breaths like I had just gone for a run.
"Just a dream." I said. It was strange as I never have had a bad dream. All my dreams are about me winning my towns Beyblade tournaments. I can imagine it right now.
"The champion and winner of 500 big BeyPoints is Kago Amano!" said Blader DJ. Enough daydreaming though. Today I will win. My name means protector and I will do just that. I will be the new Ginga Hagane or the new Zero Kurogane.
"Kago!" my Mom called, "Your going to be late again!" She is right! I gotta leave now in order to get there in time. I go to the door before my mom says, "What about breakfast?"
"I'll eat on the way," I lie.
"Good luck!" says my mom. My mom is my instructor. She's the one who taught me about Beyblade. She's the daughter of Madoka Amano, my grandmother. My grandmother always tells me stories about the days with Ginga Hagane and Zero Kurogane. I want to be like her except I want to be good at the game it's self not the mechanics.
I arrive just in time before the tournament starts. "Now first up is Chiba Shiya!" says Blader DJ. I watch our town's champion step up to the stadium. "and his opponent Ryan Joster!". "3 2 1 Go Shoot!" says DJ as the Battle starts.
"Go!" shouts Chiba as his bey goes and knocks Ryan's bey easily out of the stadium.
"Winner!" says DJ as he points to Chiba. "Next up will be Kago Amano!" I grin and step up. I don't bother listening for my opponent because I am ready.
"3 2 1 Go Shoot!" I shout and launch my bey in the stadium. Only my opponent doesn't. "Hey? Wy didn't you launch?" I ask.
"Kago I am supposed to say the countdown not you." says DJ. My face grows red as everyone laughs. "Settle down everyone." says DJ holding back a laugh. "3 2 1 Go Shoot!" he shouts.
This time we both launch. "Go Charging Chi!" I say powering up my Bey. I hit my opponents Bey and it goes straight out of the stadium. It's like that for the rest of the tournament until I get to stand in front of my opponent for the final battle. "Well Chiba hope your ready to lose." I say. He doesn't answer.
"Let's start guys." says DJ. We both nod. "3 2 1 Go Shoot!"
End of Chapter 1
"I don't... know," I said.

Both me and Chiba's Beyblades get into starting position. "Go!" I shout at my Rising Chi.
"Arrogant as usual I see." says Chiba.
"This time I'll get all the points. I won't lose to you!" I say as my Beyblade goes for a series of barrage attacks. Suddenly Chiba puts his Beyblade into defensive position. "Pull out Chi!" I say, but it is too late. My Chi get tossed up in the air.
"Kago's Bey is thrown in to the air. Is this the end?" says Blader DJ. Chiba smirks.
"No! It's not over! Hold on Chi." I say. My Beyblade land on the edge. I sigh with relief. Then I see the perfect maneuver. "Go Charging Chi!" I say as my Beyblade goes for a straight attack.
"Have you lost it?" says Chiba, "Armor Defense! Toss him into the air Armored Lizard!" I wince at the name. Chiba has never said his Beyblade's name before. I smirk as I know I am making him try.
My Charging Chi is tossed into the air. "Now! Go! Charging Chi, Star Blast Attack!" I scream the special move of Ginga Hagane.
"Kago has called the move of Ginga Hagane's second Beyblade Storm Pegasus, but will his Bey prevail?!" says DJ.
"Lizard move out of the way!" says Chiba. I pray that it won't. Then my Charging Chi strike Chiba's Armored Lizard. I hear an explosion and then there's smoke.
"Who has won? Chiba once again or has Kago caught up with him at last?" says DJ. The smoke clears and my heart bounces. Chiba turns and walks away.
"The winner is Chiba Shiya! Who earns 3,000 BeyPoints! The runner-up Kago Amano earns 2,000 BeyPoints! Good job to you both!" announces DJ. I can't hear him, because I am near tears.
"Kago! Come here!" I turn and see my mother.
"Mom? What's up?" I say.
"You were accepted." she says, "You were accepted into The BeyPit's Battle Academy!" I scream with enjoyment right there.
End of Battle 2

The BeyPit Battle Academy takes place in MidCity. That was the city where Ginga Hagane, Zero Kurogane and many famous Beybladers trained. The BeyPit was created by my great grandfather, my grandmother Madoka Amano's father. It used to be small, but now it is a skyscraper.
I am getting ready to go when my mom comes. "What's up?" I say.
"Your late Kago! You were supposed to leave at 10:30!" she yells.
"Yeah, so? It's still-" I start. My clock was still in Day Light Savings time! "I am late!" I scream.
"Come on Kago let's go!" my mom commands. I follow her to the car. My mom starts and speeds past the limit. At this point I don't care.
"How'll I get my stuff?" I ask her.
"Don't worry I'll send them to you. All you need right now is your Beyblade." she says.
We reach the airport. I am surprised at how we didn't get pulled over, but I don't have time to think about it. I say a good-bye to my mom and rush over to my gate. I sigh with relief. "Final call for Gate 24B" I hear on the intercom. I go and board my plane.
I reach my seat and then. I see who's next to me. "Chiba!" I yell. Everyone stares at me. "What're you doing here?" I say quieter, "This plane is to BPB Academy."
"I'm stronger then you. Why do you think I wouldn't be in an Academy for strong Bladers?" says Chiba.
"I guess..." I say.
"But it isn't that good if they accepted you in it, but let's see what grade you get in to. I'm bound to get in to Grade A." he snorts.
"What about me?" I ask. If Chiba's in Grade A I should be too. After all we are very similar in strength.
"You? Probably Grade C." he says.
"What!" I yell. Again everyone stares at me. "I'm going to be in Class A. We have equal Battle skills." I say.
"I am better than you and you know it. I probably will barely get into Class A, and you have no chance." he says.
"Then Class B is for me." I say.
"Your not smart in Beyblade. You know nothing about the history of Beyblade or Beyblade Customs." he says.
"I don't know much about customs, but I do know about the History!" I say.
"Not knowing about customs, coming from the Amano family? They probably hate you." he says.
"Well at least I have cool people in your family!" I say.
"Your family doesn't matter, only your skills do." he says, "If you knows History then tell me who's Ginga Hagane's most fiercest rival?"
It takes me a long time to think, but I come up with my answer. "Zero Kurogane of course!" I say with a smile.
"Your dumb, it's Kyoya Tategami. I change my mind. Your going to be in D Class Kago." he says.
Before I can answer the intercom comes up. "We will now be landing in Mod-City. All students going to BeyPit Academy please find a seat at the gate. Thank You for flying with us and have a good day." we hear on the intercom.
"Well that was fast, right Chiba?" I ask.
"Stop talking to me like I'm your friend, because I'm not." says Chiba. He then gets his bag and leaves.
End of Battle 3

I don't see Chiba after I leave the plane. It makes me sad that we can't be friends. I don't have time to feel sad though, because I see a man who says, "All BP Academy students please get a seat behind me.".
I sit behind him, but before I can get comfortable the man says, "Okay that's the last of everyone now let's call attendance. Please say 'here' or 'present' after I call your name. Hikaru Akiya!"
"Here!" says a boy behind me. After that the attendance goes smoothly. I catch a sight of Chiba and everyone else wants to as well.
"Woah! I heard he's won every tournament in his town!" I hear someone say. I grit my teeth, and the man settles everyone down.
After the attendance is finished we are all led to a train. "Is this your own train?" I ask.
"It's Mr. Amano's Bullet Train." he says. Mr. Amano is my father. My father is probably expecting me, but he doesn't favor me over anyone. He treats me like everyone else. He doesn't even treat me like his son. I don't complain about him, because I am not a child.
The train is very fast and it arrives at the BeyPit almost immediately. The BeyPit looks amazing. "Attention everyone we will now hand a list to everyone. Please search for your name and it will say what class you are on. Please follow the signs to your class." says the man.
I look for my name and find I am in the D class. "What!" I yell. Chiba was right. I look for his name. His expectations are correct. He is in A class.
I follow the signs to the D class dorm. There is a new man there. "Hello everyone! I am Mr. Smith! I will be your Dorm Counselor. Now I will assign everyone to their dorms. Hikaru Akiya and Kago Amano please take Room 1!"
I go to Room 1 and place my things down. "Hey, I'm Kago! What's up?" I say.
"I'm good. You know that I'm Hikaru. So you want to battle?" he says. I sigh with releif. "What?" he asks.
"Nothing. It's just that my last friend never talked to me as friendly as you, actually he wasn't my friend. You are!" I say.
"Yeah! So now let's battle." he says.
"Where?" I ask. Then I remember that there are stadiums made into the dorms. "Hold on," I say. I go to a closet and open it, but inside is a medium sized BeyStadium.
"Woah!" he says, "Let's go!"
"3 2 1 Go Shoot!" we say.
End of Battle 4

"Go Charging Chi!" I say. My Beyblade goes for an intense series of barrage attacks. I am successful in slowing Hikaru's Beyblade. "Yes!" I say.
"Your getting overconfident! Go Wing Pegasus!" says Hikaru. I stop at the name of his Beyblade.
"You have a Pegasus?!" I ask. I am surprised. I have never heard of such a Beyblade.
"I won it at the Legendary Blader Battle Con." he says, "The WBBA has only made one of them in the entire world. I own it now. It is said to be Pegasus's reincarnation. Go Pegasus!" he yells.
"I won't lose! Chi go for it! Star Blast Attack!" I make my Beyblade go up into the air and then make it fall at Pegasus.
"Copying someone's move won't do you good. Go Wing Pegasus! Special Move, Gust of Determination!" he yells.
My Pegasus get swooped up to the ceiling. "No! Chi!" I yell.
"It's not use Kago. Your bey cannot come down." he says.
"Charge Chi! Through the wind and through the world! Special Move, Charging Uppercut!" I yell. My Beyblade is dragged through, but Chi goes to fast. "No!" I yell. Both Beyblades are still spinning, but at a weak spin.
"Come on Chi Attack!" I yell.
"No Pegasus Attack!" yells Hikaru. Our Beyblades go for one last attack, but before they can Wing Pegasus stops spinning.
"Yes I win!" I scream.
"You did it, but Kago you have much room to improve. Now let's go and head to the Opening Ceromony." says Hikaru.
"Wait Hikaru." I say.
"Yeah?" he says.
"Let's battle like this again! It was so much fun!" I say. We both smile and go.
End of Battle 5

"Welcome everyone! I am excited to be here with you!" says Mr. Smith, "We will now hand out your Beyblade Pod, or BeyPod for short. Your BeyPod has everything you need. Your Schedule will be on their. Your teachers will post your assignments and you will have a watch and alarm that will tell you to get to class. So no excuses to get late! Let us begin our Opening Feast!"
I look at the food and my mouth waters. It has burgers, fries, chicken, beef! You name it and it is there. I get my food quickly and go sit with Hikaru. "So what are your classes?" I ask.
"I have BeyHistory first, Launching second, Battle Class third, and then I have Battle followed by Battle Tech and Gear then Battle Techniques last." says Hikaru.
"Nice schedule. Too bad I don't have any classes with you and we took all the same ones!" I say.
I feel something in my pocket. I reach in and find a note. It says, "Meet me at the Gym for a Battle at 1:30 AM." My eyes widen as I think who wrote it. Most likely Chiba.
"Hey did you see someone behind me?" I ask Hikaru.
"What?" says. Hikaru just now looking up from his food.
"Nothing, " I lie.
We soon return to our dorms. Hikaru fall asleep very quickly. I can't sleep thinking about our note so I go outside. I wait until 1:25 and then head to the gym using my BeyPod. I reach at 1:31 and see a boy standing. "You're late." he says.
"Who are you?" I ask ignoring his statement.
"I'm Maxwell McAdams, but they call me Iron. I heard you nearly beat Chiba. Battle me and my Fury Trap now." he says holding his Beyblade.
"Fine" I say. I start the countdown, "3 2-" I start getting interrupted.
"Who's there?" says a familiar voice. I know the voice because it's the man who lived with me once.
End of Battle 6

"Who's there?" says a voice. Iron instantly flees from the seen. I have a temptation to run, but of course I don't.
I turn around and say, "Hey, Dad. What's up?" I smile at him. He doesn't return the smile.
"Go to your dorm young man. At this academy we do not tolerate ruler-breakers." says my Dad. I don't hear a hint of love in his voice. I just obey and return to my dorm. I think about it all night until my mind comes to a conclusion. He must love me or he would have punished me. I fall asleep a few minutes later.
"Wake up Kago!" says Hikaru. I wake up very tired not getting much sleep, but my excitement for the school-day wakes me up. I get ready quickly and head to my first class. Launching Class looked nice in the description, but when I get there I see a woman, most likely my teacher say," Hello welcome to launching class. Please give me your Beyblade until the conclusion of class."
I almost scream, but I obey. The teacher's name is Ms. Flanagan. She is a very nice person, but a very boring person. She talks about launch angles and the proper grip for the rest of the period. I nearly scream with excitement when the bell rings.
My next class is Battle Class. I see Chiba, but before I can greet him the teacher walks in. I am already tired, but now I have to deal with my dad. "My name is Dr. Amano. Today I will determine your skill level by having a small tourney. Let's get started." he says. I am so happy to hear it. I haven't had an official battle since I came here.
End of Battle 7
I turn around and say, "Hey, Dad. What's up?" I smile at him. He doesn't return the smile.
"Go to your dorm young man. At this academy we do not tolerate ruler-breakers." says my Dad. I don't hear a hint of love in his voice. I just obey and return to my dorm. I think about it all night until my mind comes to a conclusion. He must love me or he would have punished me. I fall asleep a few minutes later.
"Wake up Kago!" says Hikaru. I wake up very tired not getting much sleep, but my excitement for the school-day wakes me up. I get ready quickly and head to my first class. Launching Class looked nice in the description, but when I get there I see a woman, most likely my teacher say," Hello welcome to launching class. Please give me your Beyblade until the conclusion of class."
I almost scream, but I obey. The teacher's name is Ms. Flanagan. She is a very nice person, but a very boring person. She talks about launch angles and the proper grip for the rest of the period. I nearly scream with excitement when the bell rings.
My next class is Battle Class. I see Chiba, but before I can greet him the teacher walks in. I am already tired, but now I have to deal with my dad. "My name is Dr. Amano. Today I will determine your skill level by having a small tourney. Let's get started." he says. I am so happy to hear it. I haven't had an official battle since I came here.

"Okay we have 16 people in this class so we will go single elimination! Here is the bracket!" he says putting a poster on the board. I look and see I am against a Blader I've never seen so I assume that it should be easy.
"3 2 1 Go Shoot!" the class says as all the battles begin.
I simply say, "Go Charging Chi!" and the battle ends. I swift pass the first 2 rounds, but the trouble begins in the semi-finals.
"Okay 4 Bladers left! Max-" starts my dad. Max clears his throat. "Iron," my dad corrects, "will battle Kago and Chiba will battle Roshi!"
All of us take a stadium and we start the countdown. " 3 2 1 Go Shoot!" says the class.
"Attack Charging Chi!" I yell at my Beyblade.
"Kago you fool. My bey's name is Fury Trap and you just fell for it." says Iron. My Beyblade simply goes through his Beyblade and nearly runs out of the stadium.
"Gah!" I say. I try and come up with a strategy, but I before I can Iron's Beyblade attacks.
"Go Special Move Reverse Trap!" he says. His Beyblade goes in to knock my Beyblade out, but my Beyblade moves in for an attack.
"Ha Ha! I won it!" I yell with triumph.
"Don't you understand 'Reverse Trap'" He says. I see his Beyblade appear right next to me and I see and attack. My Beyblade flies toward my face. Way too close to my face. The next thing I see is darkness.

"I choose light!" I yell.
"Here is your new Beyblade." says the voice. I see a new version of Chi.
"This is Rising Chi!" I yell
"Enjoy your life." says the voice.
I wake up. When I do I see that everyone is around me, even Chiba. They all scream, "The Champions awake!"
"The champion?" I ask.
"You won it before Chiba's bey hit your face." says Hikaru.
"Me and Chiba are friends?" I ask.
"Course, why wouldn't we be?" asks Chiba.
"Never mind. I'm so happy." I yell. No one stares at me like I'm a zombie. Instead they scream too.
Then my father comes in. "I'm so proud of you, son." he says.
"Dad?" I ask.
"Yes?" he says.
"I love you." I say.
The End.
