The Shocking Beginning

"When are they gonna be here?" I asked impatiently.
"Soon",My dad replied.I went into my room.The doorbell rang.My dad answered.It sounded like my aunt came in.
"Here's your my gift to your son",My aunt said.
"Thank you",My dad replied.I had my bedroom door open,and my dad came in.
"Jake!Your gift is here!" My dad said.My dad gave it to me,and I opened it up.It was a Beyblade.It was a Basalt Horogium 145WD.It was shaped like a clock face.It was my first Beyblade,so I thought I wasn't very good at it.
I went out,willing to try it out.Luckily there was another blader that challenged me,so I accepted it.
"3!" I called out.
"2!" The challenger said.
"1!" We both shouted.
"Go Shoot!!!" We shouted again.

Horogium shot into the middle of the stadium.The opposing bey hit Horogium,but shot right out of the stadium as it hit.Horogium flew back to my hand.The other blader picked up his bey,and ran away while crying.
"H-h-how!" I cried in shock."How could I win my first battle?!?"
That's how it all started...

Chapter 2

The Unrevealed Secret

Well,after I won that first battle,I went home.I thought about what I was going to do next.I realized that there are some mysteries about Horogium,so I asked my friend Vulcan.I knocked on the door...
"Come in!" A voice called through the door after I knocked.I opened the door.
"Hey,Jake!" Vulcan said in suprise.
"Hey!" I replied."I want to ask you something."
"Yeah?"Vulcan asked.
I replied,"Do you know anything about my Basalt Horogium?"
"Let me examine it."He answered.I gave Vulcan my bey for him to examine.He checked and checked,but didn't find anything.
"Hey,how about me and you have a battle?" Vulcan asked.
"Sure!" I answered.We went to the backyard where there was a beystadium.We then readied our launchers.
"3!" I called out.
"2!" Vulcan cried.
"1!" We both called out
"Go Shoot!' We both shouted as our beys shot into the stadium.
Horogium shot into the middle of the stadium.Vulcan's bey was a Vulcan Phoenix D125RS.It kind of suited Vulcan because of his name and the 'Vulcan' metal wheel on Phoenix.Horogium and Phoenix were both standing in the middle of the stadium,which caused constant clashing,which got annoying after a while.
"Phoenix!!!Special move!Vulcan wing smash!!!" Vulcan cried with his hand up in the air.
"Horogium!" I called out. "Special move!Counter Time smash!!!"
Horogium starts spinning the other way as Phoenix comes flying at Horogium.Phoenix hits,but gets shot right into the air and comes flying back down outside of the stadium.
"Again!" I said in shock of victory of my second beybattle.Me and Vulcan both stood at our positions around the stadium as Horogium flew back to my hand.We both stood there,as if we were paralysed...

Into the Hole

After the "Fake Paralysation (A word that I made up)," me and Vulcan went into his house.Vulcan was asking his parents something.As Vulcan got an answer,he told me what he asked his parents.The answer wasn't pleasant.There was a hole in the parking lot!
"Oh no!" I cried as I pulled my bey out of my pocket..
"How about we investigate it?" Vulcan added.
"Lets wait.It may be dangerous," I said in reply.We both nodded and went across the street.I think it was one of his other friends.His name was Asenjo.
"Hey Vulcan!Wasup?" Asenjo asked.
"Not much." Vulcan replied."I just wanna ask you something."
"What is it?" Asenjo asked.
"Do you know about Basalt Horogium 145WD?" Vulcan replied in question.
"Never heard of it!Is it new?" Asenjo asked curiously.
"No clue.Another friend of mine here owns Horogium.He's just a beginner at Beyblade but he just won his first two battles.When I say that,I mean two IN A ROW!" Vulcan explained to Asenjo.
"Weird," Asenjo thought.
"How about we battle Asenjo?" I asked.
"Sure!" Asenjo said! "My bey is an Assault Rumanis 140EB! (Extreme Ball)
"Assault Rumanis!?" Both me and Vulcan shouted in question.
"Yep!"Asenjo replied."Come on!Over to the hole over there!Well battle in there!"
"Ok!" I exclaimed without fear.
"Sure!" Vulcan added.So we headed into the hole and both me and Asenjo stand at different sides of a big underground stadium...

The Familiar Shadow

"3!" Asenjo called as both of us readied our launchers.
"2!" I shouted louder as my voice echoed around the area.
"1!"We both yelled with glee.
"Go shoot!!!" We both shouted as we launched our beys.
My Horogium shot into the middle of the stadium as Rumanis tried to attack.Rumanis shot at Horogium.It was dodged.Rumanis tried again.It was dodged again as Horogium shot at Rumanis as soon as the attack was dodged.
"Rumanis!!!" Asenjo cried as Rumanis was being trashed by Horogium.
Suddenly,Horogium stopped and started getting hit by Rumanis.It shot straight into the air,but zoomed back into the stadium.
"Horogium!!!" I called out."Special Move!Reverse Spin Time Counter!!!" Horogium shot at rumanis,sensing the direction in which it was spinning,and Horogium started to spin left!Horogium shot straight at Rumanis as Rumanis tried to escape,but instead,it shot out of the stadium,causing a stadium out.My bey flew back to my hand,while Rumanis was lying on the ground.It was smoking hot.So hot Asenjo couldn't even touch it for awhile.Just then,a shadow popped up out of nowhere,and it looked like it belonged to a familiar person in my life.
"Come on out!" I called out.There was no answer.No reaction
"Come out right now!!" I demanded with anger.
"Hey,no need to be so rude!" A random voice called out.The voice was familiar.The shadow started to move as a shadowy figure emerged from half light,half darkness.It finally,the figure was reflected by the light that was coming into it.
"I-i-it can't be!" I exclaimed in shock."Is that you,Ace!?"
"Yeah!" the figure said with glee.Vulcan and Asenjo both walked forward.
"Ace!It's you!" Vulcan said in excitement.
Asenjo then checked his watch.
"Vulcan,Jake.I gotta go!I'll see ya tomorrow!" Asenjo said as he searched for an exit.
"I gotta go to," I said.I went and searched for an exit.I then saw Asenjo.I started following him.We then found an exit.
"I guess it's just you and me!" Vulcan called out as Ace was standing at the other side of the stadium that me and Asenjo were battling in.
"Were gonna battle!" Ace demanded as he readied his launcher.
"Ok!" Vulcan exclaimed.
"Go Shoot!!!" Vulcan and Ace called out as they launched their beys.Not even a split second the battle was over,Vulcan and his bey lost.Vulcan Phoenix was shattered.Vulcan was on the ground,motionless,unconsious...

Blame it on me

I get a knock on my door. Hoping for a challenge, Basalt Horogium in my hand.
"Hello? You home Jake" I hear through the door. It's Ace. I immediately open the door to find him in an Aeropostale sweater. But that's not like him. And when he called, he told me Vulcan was coming with him.
"I thought Vulcan was coming," I say suspiciously as Ace comes walking in. My parents aren't home. And I'm not allowed friends inside on days like this.
"Something happened," Ace says softly.
"You're not allowed in right now..." I reply.
"You did it-"
"GET OUT!!!" I yell at him.
"I want a battle right now!" He demands
"Fine..." I lead him out to my backyard. Ace immediately holds out his launcher.
"3!" He says. I bring out my launcher.
"2!" I yell across the stadium.
"1!" Ace and I yell both at the same time as we grip the ripcords on our launchers.
"LET IT RIP!!!" Our Beyblades are launched into the stadium as we yell out. Horogium stays smack dab in the middle of the stadium, like usual.
"Beat him Rock Pegasus! Now!" Ace yelled with enthusiasm. I've never seen him like this before.
"Hold your ground Horogium!" I cried as I send my arm behind me.
"Won't work..." He says. "Uppercut strike!" Rock Pegasus comes in for Horogium well I try to make for the defense, but I didn't call out the command on time, and eventually Pegasus kept sending Horogium flying. I should expect this from Ace. He's more experienced than me.
"Finish him!"
"STOP!" I hear from the distance. Ace and I both call back our Beys and run out front.
"Hey guys! I found Vulcan lying in that hole we found yesterday in my driveway!" Asenjo shouts.
"Jake did it!" Ace says.
"NO!" I yell in reply.
"Yes you did!" Ace attacks me and pins me down.
"So blame it on me why don't you? I didn't do it!" I say in anger.
"Admit it you jerk! Idiots don't admit their wrongdoings! That's what makes you an idiot, idiot!" Ace yells.
"I can't believe you'd say that about your childhood friend..." I say softly as Ace punches me his hardest in my face.

Chapter 3:Into the Hole

After the "Fake Paralysation (A word that I made up)," me and Vulcan went into his house.Vulcan was asking his parents something.As Vulcan got an answer,he told me what he asked his parents.The answer wasn't pleasant.There was a hole in the parking lot!
"Oh no!" I cried as I pulled my bey out of my pocket..
"How about we investigate it?" Vulcan added.
"Lets wait.It may be dangerous," I said in reply.We both nodded and went across the street.I think it was one of his other friends.His name was Asenjo.
"Hey Vulcan!Wasup?" Asenjo asked.
"Not much." Vulcan replied."I just wanna ask you something."
"What is it?" Asenjo asked.
"Do you know about Basalt Horogium 145WD?" Vulcan replied in question.
"Never heard of it!Is it new?" Asenjo asked curiously.
"No clue.Another friend of mine here owns Horogium.He's just a beginner at Beyblade but he just won his first two battles.When I say that,I mean two IN A ROW!" Vulcan explained to Asenjo.
"Weird," Asenjo thought.
"How about we battle Asenjo?" I asked.
"Sure!" Asenjo said! "My bey is an Assault Rumanis 140EB! (Extreme Ball)
"Assault Rumanis!?" Both me and Vulcan shouted in question.
"Yep!"Asenjo replied."Come on!Over to the hole over there!Well battle in there!"

"Sure!" Vulcan added.So we head into the hole and both me and Asenjo stand at different sides of a big underground stadium...
