Yes, This is the event you've all been waiting for! The return of the East Coast's biggest Beyblade tournament - Beyblade Colosseum! We invite Bladers from all across the East Coast (or anywhere else) to come join us for our largest event of the year!

We'd like to give a big shout-out to Kickin' Kiwi, the sponsors of Beyblade Colosseum 2013. They have decided to return and not only sponsor this event, but provide us with a wonderful venue as well! They have also been generous enough to donate some awesome prizes. Without their sponsorship, this event would not have been possible.

Saturday, June 13th, 2015 - Registration begins at 12:00 P.M. - Tournament begins promptly at 1:00 P.M., and will end at 4:00 P.M.

Standard Format

We will be playing Beyblade in Standard Format. What is Standard Format, you ask? Read the Universal Rulebook for information. Standard Format is played in the traditional BB-10 Attack Type Beystadium, and all Metal Fight Beyblade parts are legal!

Due to time constraints, the tournament will end at 4:00 P.M.

We're playing at a very family-friendly venue, so we readily encourage younger players to attend! We are also excited to announce that Dark_Mousy, 2012 Anime North Champion, and Stormscorpio1, 2013 North American Champion, will be competing with us! If you're looking for fierce competition, this is the event for you!

ATTENTION: Due to special circumstances a Blader Passport will not be needed at this event. The entry is waived for this event. We do ask that you buy some Frozen Yogurt while there. Its delicious, you won't regret it.

Collin, you could ride with us if you need a lift; it's not out of the way or anything (and it would probably be easier than Dark having to drive two hours to get you there, haha).

I am COMPLETELY STOKED for this. Fingers crossed geetster spontaneously shows up again. I want a rematch.

Congrats boys!
YUSSS, ADAM WON :D

Hope all of you had fun today and congratulations to all the winners!
Dang, it looks like he won Zero-G too. Thunder Dome killin it out there. Congrats man!

here are the Challonge brackets for those of you who are interested. Looks like geetster was there but didn't make it to the finals. ZachBob actually did pretty well for his first tournament, what did he end up using?

How was Zero-G without F230? Was the tournament official or just for fun?
Zero-G results!

1st: geetster99
2nd: TigeroftheWest
3rd: Thunder Dome

Adam did extremely well today. My brother also placed for the first time, so he's really excited.

That was incredibly fun; I didn't do nearly as well as I hoped I would, but it was still a great time nonetheless.

The Zero-G event was an interesting experience. Colosseum went over, and it was like a hundred degrees out, so by the time we got to the park, found a spot to play, and set up, we were all exhausted, hot and starving. That, combined with the fact that Dark, Storm and I crashed and burned took some of the fun out of the event, but it was still a great time for the most part.

I am extremely pleased to report that gameplay was undoubtedly more versatile without F230CF/GCF. I played against everything from Duo B:D to Wyvang Balro E230GCF. I saw more Zero-G Attack today than I have in all our Zero-G tournaments since summer of 2013 combined. The variety of different Stamina customs used was pretty great too.

Dragooon B:D didn't cause any problems at all. I won against it with Dragooon Zero-G Attack extremely easily; not sure if it was used much besides that. Whatever the case, it certainly didn't pose any kind of threat to game balance.

Overall, I think the ban worked out extremely well. I would seriously say this was the single most balanced meta I have ever played in in any format. There was no single combination in the event that even came close to being obviously dominant, and the variety of customs used was greater than I think I've ever seen it.

Even though I got shredded, I'd say it was a very successful test run.
