A few small things I've noticed in this episode.

I already don't like Aiga. This kid who's never played the game before suddenly makes his own Beyblade and curb stomps everybody, even the much more experienced Beigoma Regional champion seems to have trouble and Valt, world champion, almost loses a point to Aiga.

Why?

Oh wait I think I know, because Valt started off as inexperienced and had troubles in the beginning, so they wanted to make Aiga "different"

Valt started as naive, didn't even know how to launch properly and had to grow bit by bit in his adventure -> Aiga is shown as a prodigy on his first try
Valt had to slowly figure out how to get the most out of his Beyblade's parts -> Aiga immediately knows how to make full use of the Xtend Driver
Valt is blue -> Aiga is red

Yeah, "different" in the laziest way possible

Honestly, I found myself saying "So what was the point?" Several times throughout this episode
Aiga beating generic bladers
"Okay, generic bladers, it only makes sense for them to be fodder"

Aiga beating Koji
"Oh cool, Hoji's little brother, I wonder how this is gonna play - oh he's beaten as a generic blader. So what was the point of him being Hoji's little brother?"

Aiga beating Toko
"Oh okay, Toko, Valt's little brother, and he has a named Beyblade (Screw Trident), this should be good - Oh he got beaten easily. So what was the point of introducing Screw Trident and Toko if he's gonna be that easily beaten?"

Aiga getting a point off of Fubuki
"Okay, Fubuki, Regional Champion, also has a Super Z Beybalde, with a Level Chip too! Aiga seems to only have a few days of experience so Fubuki should be able to easily win and burst Aiga's ego-" *Aiga takes a point in a close battle* "Okay so what was the point of introducing Fubuki as Regional Champion, with a Super Z Beyblade, with a Level Chip if newcomer Aiga's barely gonna have a challenge!? To just show off how much of a prodigy he is!?"

Well the valt fight could be brush of like valt was going easy on aiga although I don't really like how close the battle was cause valt is the champ and rank #1 this battle should've end like free vs valt the first time the battle . As for toko I was disappointed that they made him so weak he should be stronger than that and for fubuki we can also use the excuse that his holding back. I don't mind aiga beating the generic bladers but i do understand your point about him blitzing everyone so easy, like you mentioned it doesn't seems like aiga knew how to or about beyblade at all until he meet valt which Is a bit weird but it's still early to judge the character to much.  I'm liking the fact that his strong from the beginning and we don't have to go with the i have to mastered my bey thing again . but he should've known about beyblade Already that would've made it better and logical on why his blitzing everyone but let's wait and see how the story go it's still only 2 episode but I'll tell as of now I'll give 5/10 for aiga character

I see where your coming from. You’ve made some good points, though I still think that conversation about Super Z Beyblades could happen(Was the Fubuki vs Aiga just a one match battle? If not, it’s possible for Fubuki to come back, as it would make more sense, but I don’t really want him to say something like, “I was just testing you.”) Can’t think of anything to make up for Fubuki’s years of experience. Maybe Aiga’s Super Saiyan powers have something to do with his immense ended power levels power, but i wouldn’t bet on that.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Although I'd like to address an issue far more serious than this.

Too many characters popping out of one place, and named characters end up being fodder for some reason. Ranjiro's pseudo-gang? Fodder. Koji? Fodder. Toko? Still fodder. Most of the Beigoma club? You know where this is going... There's so much going on for the second half of the show that it's actually infuriating to keep track of.
And can we just get Nika her own beyblade, please? We don't need more than one female / really young boy character glued to a screen giving out exposition. I think Nura's got that handled. Seriously, it's painful to watch when we're three seasons in and only one female blader (Sasha) is remotely significant in any way.

Shock absorption not drain spin as that only works with an opposing spin beyblade (Kerbeus can theoretically spin steal from fafnir) Trident just took the hit and delivered the potential damage back.

That's not the same. Equalization is when both beys spin the same speed and in the opposite direction. Shock absorption is the bey (or one if its parts) going along with the hit.

It's not like he won by a mile or anything. He barely won. I assumed it was a draw (till the judge announced that aiga had one point) since  they both seemed to go out at the same time. Also it's interesting how at this point they are both Valt and Shu's spiritual successors. As for Valt nearly losing to Aiga in the first episode some clear parallels can be drawn to the first episode of G-Rev where Tyson is fighting some kid and he is close to getting beat before he stops messes around. It's fairly apparent the battle between Aiga and Valt was just to show Aiga had a large amount of potential (which is exactly how Valt started out btw) but obviously Valt couldn't get beaten by some Noob so they had Aiga burst at the last second. (I know bursting is the gimmick of the beyblades but last second bursts happen a ridiculous amount in the anime compared to how many actually happen in tournament play). Another interesting thing to note is the large parallels between this season and Zero-G.  TT clearly clocked that 3 seasons was too late to introduce too many new concepts (new system and character lineup) and have now shortened the timescales. It's interesting to see that with each beyblade generation they're gauging what works well and what doesn't and attempting to introduce this into the next generation.

Valt was portrayed to be a lot worse than he actually was in the anime. MC side effect. While you have plot armor when it counts, your skill is downplayed way more than it should be. Take Ginga as the regional champion. He still had to struggle an unnecessary amount against the earlier opponents who were significantly worse than S1 Ryuga.

You could call that plot armour but honestly if you moving from country tournaments to worldwide tournaments (in literally any game) then the skill level of competitors is gonna go up by a large margin.
