Has anyone noticed that free had a sparking launcher but did not have a sparking shoot? Also how are they going to have a legend festival without one of the protagonists?

that sometimes happens, it all depends if he seriously launches or not. And Hyuga not making it in is just for dramatic tension to make you wonder "Oh gosh what will happen?" but he'll make it in.

That’s pretty much because Fafnir can spin steal so he intentionally light launches in battles against right spin beys because absorbing from a sparking shoot bey is basically the same. Either that or as snoc said he doesn’t take seriously if he hand spins.

That seems absolutely likely. i was thinking along the lines that he had not yet mastered the sparking shoot.
