We don’t really know if Hikaru barely made it in. All Rantaro says is that he got confirmation from the wbba so they were probably just gathering the results. Hyuga probably has to beat Drum to get in or perhaps he beats Drum and someone gives a recommendation for him to join the festival.

It’s definitely not Mirage Fafnir since he created that after losing to First Uranus. They didn’t show us Free’s Fafnir because they want us to interpret what bey Free has to our liking. Geist, Wizard, his own variation? All up to us.

the episode summary suggest that Hikaru just barely got in. And In the manga its Mirage Fafnir, may be different in the anime though (since in the manga the battle didnt even take place at the red bulls, it took place at the forest stadium outside bc sol).

In the anime he said he got Mirage Fafnir after losing to Lane (the battle in the flashback). The writers did this intentionally so that we could interpret(imagine) what Fafnir he has. Personally I would like to think he has his own gt Fafnir.

well here's the manga battle at least. Im guessing in the anime it was geist though.(for context in the panel with Rantaro and Daina and the panel with Hikaru and Hyuga, the legends and the brothers are watching this battle as a recording. It also isn't formatted like this, I just took each scene with the battle.)
Whos going to compete in the legend festival. Can someone tell me the bladers.

All of the so far revealed Legendary Bladers of course, and most likely Hikaru, Hyuga, Ranjiro, and Lean.

Bro im so exited we get to see battles we wanted to see for a while. And Zac, Xander, Phi, and Gwyn, Kurt, Boa, Ghasem, Lane. This is gonna be 1000x better than than the God Bladers Cup.

Valt is gonna host it, not participate. Just kidding but I hope that's not the case. Also, will the stadium with the craters be the stadium used in the tournament?

Not sure if we'll see Zac, Xander and some of the others. May just be the 8 legends we know are on the show. Would be nice though.

Atleast the manga aka the original beyblade burst will have all 15 legends.

Plus people will be very happy with character 2-3 seasons ago come back.
Now y'all got me hyped up lol. Even if its just barely like the God Bladers Cup I'm gonna like it, cause that was so hype and definitely the best tournament in burst so far.  But again:

We don't know if previous characters will return in the anime, and there's a very low chance of them coming back so far (sadly)

😥
maybe some other legendary bladers might return too, like xandar and maybe ..maybe kurtz and phi. Also of course delta since drum returned.at tt has to release a lot of new beys since the normal parts cannot be customised with the double chasis and also it might be the last season(from what i heard)

Yep, they're setting off a lot of signs that this may be the last season, but not confirmed. The problem is with all the legendary bladers and wakiya, its way past the time they should've appeared, yet the anime keeps putting itself in situations where they cant, so they're probably not going to appear at all. At least we get the starting legends like Valt,Shu,Drum, and Free though.

Yeah, it was kinda expected considering GT with 12 bladers and 15 beys. Assuming the Asahis and Lane get evolutions, that's 15 beys again. We already have 12 bladers confirmed as well.
Anyway, looks like Hyuga has fallen behind again. Rip being the little brother.
Well this never came as a surprise to me as it was obvious from day one that they couldn't possibly bring back all the legendary bladers. The pacing of this season would be completely off as the victory of the brothers over the legendary bladers would not have been earned.
Watched the subs.
Man, RIP Hyuga for real. Ofc he's gonna cheese his way in, but Hikaru was legit the last one. Lean's whole flare thing is interesting cause he's the black sun. Nice try Shu, but I think Lean's flare is just gonna keep growing.
Ironic that Lean's going after Shu as his flare increases. That may be another main antagonist he loses to.
I'm getting more excited.

Also thank you, DranzerX13, as per usual.

Probably won’t be a new antagonist since the cast is already pretty much full.

Oh my bad, didn’t interpret it right.
Has anyone noticed that free had a sparking launcher but did not have a sparking shoot? Also how are they going to have a legend festival without one of the protagonists?

That battle was basically discount since it was a flashback. Things like that don't matter there. And Hyuga is obviously gonna make it in with plot armor.

that sometimes happens, it all depends if he seriously launches or not. And Hyuga not making it in is just for dramatic tension to make you wonder "Oh gosh what will happen?" but he'll make it in.
