I don't think that the case here because some anime has bad pre production which can impact the episode so with in the time gap they can improve the production

Well the plot/story not only the case here a few episodes has bad animation in Sparking Like ep 10 and 11 which means that episode has a bad or rough pre production because or covid or ect.. which if they rush it more it could Have been worse

I still find it weird that Lane is Shu's student.. Like even in the flashback this episode he looked like a Final Boss and not a student XD
Maybe he shouldn't have the face markings in the flashback yet to at least make him look different

Appearance doesn’t always distinguish a characters’ role. Characters like Xhaka and Hyde also looked pretty intimidating but they were not evil or final bosses at the end of the day.

Episode review

I gonna be honest this episode is just too intense which is good and i guess shu has two sparking launchers now one left and one right thats mean no LR sparking launcher nooo

the episode start off with strong the music composition Then the second round starts but lean break his launcher meaning he has to find another launcher then hyuga approaches him to give his launcher to lean but lean just freaking slap it in front hyuga this scene it just a master piece then shu gives his launcher to lean the most hilarious part is that lean breaks a launcher 3 times in this episode The flashback is totally welcome for me because it adds some world building to this season

Battle

The lui vs lean fight is really intense lean thinks that his bey barier cannot be attacked but no lui done the most genius thing he freaking push it that so he can burst it in this scene the battle scale power scaling and ost just makes the battle even better but my only complaint is that the burst it doesn't feel right to me it feels missing a part but eh it is what it is oh yeah the avatar for lucifer is sick tho But the most interesting part is that lui this whole time is just testing lean so is that mean lui is still stronger than lean idk.

The episode wraps up with lean tossing shu launcher to him then it broke i like that scene tho that scene is dope

Overall strong episode Ill give it a 9/10 my only problem is that the battle is rushed

The episode was okay story wise i really like where its going especially the relationship between shu and lean

Episode was insanely good and Lui's strategy was interesting. That's why it kinda pains me to see that the end of the battle was literally:

1. Lane shouts a special move
2. Explosion?? We don't see anything ??
3. Longinus bursts.

It's exactly like battles used to end in Metal Fight lol.

If the way Longinus burst was interesting this would have been one of the top battles in the whole series too.

I don’t believe he was testing Lane. At the end he just laughs and says he wants to see Lane in the legends festival. Also Lui wasn’t trying to burst Lucifer. He was using Longinus upper attack to drive Lucifer to the outside of the stadium so he can get an over finish (they say it somewhere). Good review! Just wanted to let you know some things.

It only looked like he was going for an over finish at first (in reality it was to make him crash into the wall and burts him)
