Beyblade Burst God Episode #11 (June 12th, 2017)

Only in V-Force. Classic Beyblade has him act like a normal kid his age, who's rivalizing with the "cool guy" and tries hard to look good in his eyes. And in G-Rev he mostly matured, as did most of the cast.

I agree with you completely, I cannot stand Takao/Tyson at all in V-Force but I think he's fine in the other two series.

Anyways, my thoughts on this episode.

Ok, I'll admit he's ok in Classic, but he matured in G-Rev? Dude, he was unreasonably jerkish in the first half of the series and after that I just stopped caring about him. When the rest of his team left because they wanted to win on their own, he took it as them being jealous of him. That's pretty self-centered right there.

To me, it's good to have a flawed main protagonist because during the series, you want them to better themselves. In G-Revolution, Tyson bettered himself as the series went on. They did in V-Force too but Tyson was more horrible there and for longer. Gingka felt exactly the same from episode 1 to 154, but with legendary powers.
I could see why Tyson's voice in the dub and the stupid music would make you hate him. His reactions were way more dignified and understandable in the original version, but the dub voice actor had quite a way to make you frown whenever you would hear Tyson speak anything...

In any case, dub issues aside, thinking that the others were jealous of him is totally a natural reaction to have, among others sure, but it does not make him that self-centered. Surely, if you put yourself in his position, you would have been hurt to see all your teammates leave, and you would react probably harshly on the spot, without being able to think much. Again, remember that he is basically twelve or thirteen years old in G Revolution, not a grown teen hah.

Anyway, this is really off-topic.
