The development were seeing here is more to do with laying the groundwork for the cohesion and interactions of the friend group. We're also seeing tiny glimpses into the other aspects of the characters personality, specifically with Bell. I can understand not wanting a battle with the same two characters to go on for 3-4 episodes without anything else of significance going on though.

So far Bell isn't a particularly active character, he isn't really driving the story forward, instead of going out and moving the story along, people are just coming to him, which isn't something that's advisable for the main character of a story. It's still early days so there's much more to see. I would like to see some forward motion of the main story arcs soon. All in all I don't think DB's in a bad place compared to what we had recently.

I don't care if you're a 1 or a 100. I’ll never back down. The pacing is too slow for it's own good, making Ranzou vs Bell a 4 episodes battle is boring. Can't they develop their friendship without dragging this battle? Why can't Bell take on Free or Valt?

Heres a news flash in case you didn't get it: Valts probably not gonna battle until Ep.14-15 since his bey releases in July. Calm down, you aren't exactly helping your case at all, if you prefer a rushed rivalry then be my guest. You're basically complaining over a non-existent issue.

No need to be hostile. Just saying my opinion. Plus, Lui battled Bell with Rage Longinus, his new bey is only coming out in September. Besides, Valt still needs to take on Bell with Brave Valkyrie. Theres a difference between rushed and slow, this one feels too slow to me.

Apart from that, the episodes are not just Bell vs Ranzou when you look beyond mindless action and battles, Its bell and the main cast members working their way towards friendship.

They can do that too, no need for Ranzou vs Bell to drag so much.

I don't know how to feel about another Ranzo VS Bell, but it's developing their bond as frenemies rivals so that's still good. I'm predicting this will be the last round for now tho, as 5 episodes back to back would be a little bit too much, even if they're half the usual length. After this is either a Basara mini-arc or the real plot gets going (a tournament? Festival? Something else entirely? Idk).

Three main keys here, One is Solomon finally getting some action hasn't been doing anything just resting in Basara's pocket, Two is high mode meaning more moves maybe a never break or a never counter that seems cool, Three is the skydiving Bell from the sky I don't know why though but it seems like he did some traveling around the world like Sisco did except not the teams and not turning them down every 5 seconds. That is what I find interesting

Those 2 min eps are people somehow ripping it from it's official source. They don't post full episodes so they don't get copyrighted. To watch the official release, get a VPN (I use ProtonVPN), set the country to Japan, search 'Corocoro channel' on YouTube, the official Corocoro channel should be in the search results. This channel is where you will find full episodes. Have fun

So, Ranzo has decided to crash at Basara's place. We have a battle between Basara and Ranzo, presumably to check Cyclone's high mode out. It seems they show the high mode to be stronger, evidenced by Ragnaruk deflecting Solomon's attacks easily despite being lighter, but has less stamina, as Solomon outspins Ragnaruk. Yes, first time a Sparking bey snatches a point off a DB bey (though Basara launched later). Then there's a scene with Bell having fun with his grandpa which ends up with Bell hanging by his coat from one of the spikes in his mansions gate talking to Ranzo. Then they have a battle, both using High Mode. First round, Ragnaruk effortlessly parries Belial's attack and knocks it out. Then Bell and Belial have a conversation (Belial's already my favourite of the talking avatars, the guy has personality) and Bell decides to go with High Mode again and declares the round will end in a burst.This time, Bell does not attack and waits for both Belial's and Ragnaruk's stamina to drop before using the Venture driver to head for the center and bursting Ragnaruk with Dynamite Bomber. I don't understand what they talked about after that but I'm guessing sth along the lines of Bell accepting Ranzo as a friend and rival. Oh, and Valt and Free were the audience as usual. On the topic of Valt, I'm hyped for the next episode. 

Nice episode. 9/10

Let's review this thing, shall we?

The episode was nothing out of the ordinary, but I like it more than 5 simply because there's more interaction between Bell, Ranzo and Basara, especially since the latter didn't do much until now. So basically, Basara was rewatching last episode's battle and talking bout something related to the High Mode, then both him and Ranzo go to train together and check out how Ragnaruk's own High Mode works. It does better at deflecting attacks and seems to have more power, but it trades that for locking the Stamina Wings and generally reducing stamina (probably due to the aforementioned locked wings and the higher center of gravity), and as a result Solomon ends up OSing Ragnaruk despite it tanking all of Solomon's attack like it's nothing. Scene change, and Bell's doing some funky stuff with that huge fan thing in the mansion's garden and ends up hanging from the gate, with Ranzo challenging him to yet another battle (this one is a Burst Only match btw). Both go with High Mode, Ranzo snatches the round instantly by bouncing Belial out of the stadium. Next Round they go with High Mode again, but this time Bell holds off on the offense until both of them are low on stamina, then he Dynamite Bomber's the heck out of Ragnaruk and wins with a Burst. As usual, Free and Valt offer their bit of commentary...but after Free leaves, Valt comments something about this being interesting to himself.
Which leads us to next episode's preview, where Valt visits the Gates of Hell and challenges Bell. Man, I'm so hyped and we're still one week away from the episode!
Overall, this one continues DB kinda-sorta trend of not being anything too special, but still fun to watch. I'd rate it 8/10
