Stadium: Takara Tomy (Extra Stadiums are appreciated for free play or as tournament back-ups. If you plan on bringing one just let me know! Thank you!)

Participant Cap: 24

Staff & Judges: Any participants, so long as they’re comfortable doing so, who wish to assist with Judging will be greatly appreciated! If you do plan on helping judge please show up at least 15 minutes early and we’ll have a short meeting and give a chance to ask questions.

Finals Stage: First to 7 points.

Lightning L-Drago: Only one version of the Lightning L-Drago blade may be used in a Deck.

Roll call will be at 1:00pm.
After roll call is completed and the bracket is officially generated we will do pre-tournament announcements and give everyone a chance to ask questions before we begin the first round.

If we reach greater than 16 entrants we will move from:

“ Group Round Robin -> 4 Finalists”

to

“5 Round Swiss -> 8 Finalists”

As we continue to improve the events, there are a couple of things i’d like to define based on BXA2:W which i’ll reiterate during the Pre-Tournament Announcements:

  1. Spin Finishes will be defined as the top half of a bey having any amount of rotation in the direction that it was launched after the opposing bey has stopped rotating(or began rotating in the opposite direction).
  2. Own Finishes; Launching directly into an Over/Xtreme Zone will be called as an Own Finish. Conversely, to remove any subjectivity, once the beys have made contact in battle, an Own Finish cannot be called no matter how much time has passed between the contact and the “knock-out”. (Mid-air contact before both beys have touched the stadium floor is still a relaunch)

Finally, we will still do Stadium Rotations between every battle round that ends in any regular point(s) earned. (This excludes Draws and Own Finishes). Keep this in consideration when strategizing.

Any questions, just shoot me a direct message and i’ll get back to you asap! See you there!
