If I mixed up on something on my draft please tell me so I can fix it, thanks. I got the idea of making this draft when I was on WBO I saw there was only one draft on basalt horogium so I decided to make one for myself hope you like it!
Originally Takara-Tomy released Basalt horogium as a starter that came with a light launcher. Sono kong released Basalt horogium also as a starter but instead of a light launcher they released it with a snipe launcher.
System: Hybrid Wheel
Number: BB-104
Type: Stamina
Quote:Note: Takara-Tomy orignally realeased this Beyblade with a Light Launcher II. SonoKong later released this Beyblade with a Snipe Launcher.
Face: Horogium
The face on this Beyblade depicts a clock, Horogium, one of the 88 constellations in space.
Clear Wheel: Horogium
Weight: 2.71 grams
Horogium is shaped like a gear and is greyish-blue with white Roman Numerals. There is a hole in the clear wheel where the III should be on a normal clock. Instead of an IV for the four they use IIII , which is unusual. The hole (instead of the III) affects its weight distribution which affects its stamina on a normal Metal Wheel.
Metal Wheel: Basalt
Weight: 47.52 grams
Basalt is one of the best Defense Metal Wheels out there. It is almost completely round, making
it have little to no Attack capabilities but it has amazing Defense capabilities. Around the inside of the Metal Wheel there are small ridges. In a spot in the Metal Wheel there is a chunk of
metal missing where the small ridges suddenly drop. This makes it looks like a staircase which some people call the "spiral staircase of death". This missing chunk of metal makes its weight distribution completely uneven so it’s not a good part for Stamina combos. This Beyblade is also
part of the Maximum Series because of its Metal Wheel's astonishing weight. They designed
Basalt to fit with Horogium so if Horogium is placed on the right way the hole in Horogium fits with the missing chunk of metal in Basalt making its weight even more unevenly distributed making it have better counter attacks.
Use in Defense Customization
Basalt can be put to good use in the combo, MF-H Basalt Bull/Aquario GB145RS.
Track: 145
Weight: 1.47 grams
145, along with its variants (C145, DF145, etc.), was once the highest Track available, until the
230 Track was released with Flame Byxis. It can be used in Stamina customs to great effect
due to its tall height, which allows for more wobbling as the Beyblade loses its spin velocity.
145, as tall as it is, makes it easily susceptible to low Attackers, such as Lightning L-Drago
100HF. however, this should not be seen as a drawback because Stamina Types are not
traditionally designed to be used against Attack types.
145 is also not restricted to the use of Stamina Types. 145 has in fact found its place in a top-tier Attack Customization as described below:
Use in Attack Customization
145 can be put to good use in the Attack custom, ''MF Pegasis 145RF''. Pegasis has been proven
to perform viciously when used in unison with 145, which maximizes the effectiveness of its
Smash Attack.
Use in Stamina Customization
145 can be put to good use in the custom, ''Earth Bull 145WD''.
Bottom: Wide Defense
Weight: 0.7 grams
Wide Defense, as its name implies is the widest of the “Defense†series of Bottoms (D, SD,PD,and now WD). This brings numerous advantages, but also some disadvantages when compared to
the other “Defense†Bottoms. Because of its massive width that reaches the edge of the Bottom's perimeter, it is able to wobble at a significantly larger angle for a longer period of time than D or SD, and at a much lower spin rate. This can be advantageous in many battles, particularly those between two Stamina types when they are about to topple over; however, if you happen to have a weaker shot than your opponent who is using something such as Virgo
DF145SD, WDs low spin rate towards the end of the battle will make it extremely easy for the opponent to knock it completely over. This low spin rate towards the end of the battle is
created because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its Stamina. This is all avoidable however if your shot is at least as powerful as your opponent, as the extra time it is able to spin on an angle will allow you to narrowly outspin your D or SD based opponent.
WD has significant defensive capabilities as well, but because it still uses a form of sharp tip, its
friction with the stadium floor is decreased, which as a result makes it easier to knock around than something like WB which has much more friction with the stadium floor. WD does of course
offer superior Stamina to WB which in rare cases would be an advantage, but WB more often
than not has enough Stamina to outlast Attack types.
Use in Stamina Customization
WD is arguably the best of the “Defense†series of Bottoms, and its effectiveness can be utilized
in the custom ''Earth Bull AD145WD''.
Use in Defense Customization
If you want to add some more Stamina to your [[Defense]] customization, while still retaining much defensive capability, swap out WB or B for WD. ''MF Earth Bull 230WD'' is a good example of this.
Overall:
While 145 and WD are great for Stamina, Basalt is arguably the best part of this Beyblade. Its amazing weight makes it a great choice for Defense.
Every blader should at least own one of this Beyblade.
