I'm no Bakugan fan, but don't all animes marketing toys do that?

Or better yet, does no one see the irony in his post?
Bakugan bashing still going?

Original content is only original for 10 seconds.

Quite frankly, the same can be said with pretty much almost everything else.

Original content is hard to come by now a days...

What? Wut!?
It isn't bashing, it's opinion.
Bakugan is so big, and so popular, that the second season is no where to be seen in Japan.
@ The post about it.

But B-Daman was fuuuuuun.

Although the anime did suck >_>

I think I've spotted a 4chan user.

Anyway, I checked out some Bakugan. Interesting, but nothing I would get hardcore into. They were having a sale at the local FYE so a friend picked up a set.

Yes it does but I still can't believe how dumb the cartoon is. "I have the ability to stop time by playing marbles" or " I'm gonna save the entire universe by playing marbles"

"i'm going to create a black hole using a spinning top"

Heh, but bakugan is worse, the description for the bakugans don't make sense. An example: this _____ had invincible shoulders. When I buy the toys; it doesn't say what to do or how to use it and beyblade make way more sense then bakugan.

Hellz yeah! Breaking the time space continuum all the way people
Note: some animes that involves games breaks the rules of science, physics and space-time... wha?
In my opinion, Yu-Gi-Oh + Beyblade + Pokemon = Bakugan. That's not to say I don't like it though. The show is alright. I do watch it. But the game itself isn't all that great.
How does beyblade get in there.Alot of games use cards, and abilitys.you cant blame them for that.so yugioh makes no sense, your just scrapping reasons to hate it.Pokemon..Monsters..wow the second monsters come into this its pokemon. The marbles..thats original but "OH NO ITS A BALL LIKE A POKEBALL"Also, you cant blame them for creating a backstory.and everyone should know how to use a marble!,and they put instructions how to play the game in every pack
But yeah, the game not that good

Ever read the press release stuff with the guy who made Bakugan? He blatantly stated he got the idea from things like Pokemon and Beyblade. But yeah, I know how you feel, people say Yu-Gi-Oh was a Pokemon rip-off because it had monsters.

Uhm, what? Yu-Gi-Oh was a Manga about various types of gaming when it came out. THEN they decided to make it about card games, the only thing close to Pokemon was Capmon, which, isn't a rip-off at all, just the way the Japanese put things together, Capsule Monster, so what, capsules that have monster chess pieces? It's a chess game involving monsters, big whoop. Rip-off? Highly doubt it.

He never said anything about beyblade though

Hm, must have been something else.

Anyway, a rip-off would be this atrocity - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKsLXJyjlpI Ash, is that you? Why's your C hat got a T now?

Edit: Anyone also notice he's got Ash's little jumping thing going on in the end of it?

That's not how you play backgammon...

Amusingly, the series has amazing music, but the anime itself is just plain terrible.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unyipPn6NEE <-- How they should have done it (Ending song from one of the seasons, this time with Pokemon characters! =D )
Twelve-year-old's breasts aren't that large...

Also, just a general message to the animators of various shonen series... TH

........The female characters (except for Yellow and Sapphire) are all over 16...
Late teen/early 20 year old's faces aren't that immature...

Hahaha, sorry, just venting the general complaints I have with the homogenized art style that comes with a good chunk of animation from Japan these days.

Heh, I can tell.

But yes, they are actually older than 12 (with the exception of one character)

Green - 17
Yellow - 15
Crystal - 14
Sapphire - 12
Platinum - 14
Clearly fully grown, physically mature adults all...
